Chapter 26 - THE INTERSECTION

POV: Julian Cross

Julian suggested a parking garage. Neutral ground. Away from offices and surveillance.

Webb arrived in an unmarked sedan at 2 PM, getting out of his car with the posture of someone who knew something was wrong but couldn't quite articulate what.

"This is unusual," Webb said as Julian approached.

"It is," Julian agreed. They didn't shake hands. Just stood between their cars, visible but private.

"What do you want to tell me?" Webb asked.

Julian handed him a folder. Inside: financial diagrams. Shell company structures. Money flow patterns tracing DeVos's operations.

"If you want to build a case against DeVos, look into Meridian Capital Partners. It's a shell. DeVos uses it to move money from crime operations into legitimate channels. Every major transaction goes through there. The beneficial owners are buried under layers of intermediaries, but if you trace back far enough, you'll find DeVos's signature on transfers."
