That night, after Alastair took Noel home from their trip on the yacht, he was immediately greeted by Kenneth, who had been waiting for him since early that morning.
"You said you'd be back this morning, but why are you only home now?" he asked.
"Noel still needed me. So I stayed with him before taking him home," Alastair replied, loosening his tie. "So, is there an important report you want to tell me besides scolding me?"
Kenneth sighed softly when Alastair asked so casually. But there was nothing urgent happening that required the mafia boss to be there. He was only gone for two days, what bad could possibly happen?
"It's not like the Griffin mafia will collapse just because I went away for two days with my Omega, Ken."
"I know. Sigh... Never mind. Let's just go to your room so you can rest while listening to my 'chatter'," he replied.
