Chapter 2 - Just a Passing Traveler

"Hm... Should I help?" Kale asked himself. "To be honest, there's not really any gain for me here... and also I will just get myself into trouble" he thought as he observed the situation.

"To be honest... I don't know what kind of world this is... and how can I understand what they are talking about? They were talking in a language I had never heard about, and to my surprise, I understood them"

"So.. if there is a more favorable situation right here right now... It's to" he thought as he opened his status window.

"Who are you?!" The man in ragged clothes asked.

"Me? I'm just a passing traveler" Kale replied, and the man backed up, creating a distance.

"Look here now, young man.. if you're feeling pity on that one over there, it's not really worth it.." The man said.

"I should do this to at least get information on what this world is... because if I approach these kinds of guys, I will just be enslaved" Kale thought as he held his sword up.

"You're not answering me? Huh... I should just" The guy lunched himself towards Kale in a matter of seconds.

"Wha? He got great speed" He thought as he prepared to parry the attack. The man's sword targeted his chest, but it was blocked by Kale.

The man backed up again, and he asked, "You got some skills for such a young age... are you a noble?"

"Noble? Me?" Kale asked, but he didn't get a second of breathing when he felt something on his right.

"Tch!" Another man showed up covered in ragged clothes, just like the man facing Kale.

"Heliram, you shit! You should have called right away when you caught the kid!" The man said.

"Oh shut up! I was having fun" The man named Heliram argues.

"Then this happened, you got a company" The man then pressed Heliram more.

"Okay, Okay... I will not do it next time, Branch Manager Urza" Heliram said as he looked at Kale.

"But... how did that kid sense boss?" Heliram thought as he looked at Kale.

"Phew.. That was close, to think all my experience on the game will save me in this life" Kale thought as he watched the two men closely.

In The Blue World Adventure, even though Kale is only focusing on being a blacksmith, he gathers his materials by himself, leading him to be confronted by not just monsters but also players who are looking to get the rarest materials there are.

Being a casual player on the game doesn't really save him from constant PvP and ambush from players. One time, he even got dragged into a messy fight between two guilds, leading to the biggest war in TBWA.

"All those experiences aside, I also trained my physical body because it synchronizes much efficiently and reduces lag between your body and the device" Kale thought reminiscing on the times.

"That guy... he looks young, but his skills differ" Heliram warned the man. Urza shrugged it off and jumped right in front of Kale.

"There's no need to worry, Heliram, this guy is dead" Urza said as he did what Heliram did before, targeting his chest.

"He's doing the same move?" Kale thought as he prepares to parry it. But Urza proved why he is different from Heliram. Suddenly, Urza is behind Kale and stabs him.

But Urza realizes that he hit something hard. From his experience alone, he knows it's not flesh he just stabbed. The moment he realize it, he sees the black coated sword blocking his dagger.

"What!" Urza is baffled. He then grabbed another dagger from his side and targeted Kale's side.

Kale dodges the attack by moving an inch from where he is and turning around and try to grab the man. Urza quickly backed up. Suddenly, Heliram attacked from behind.

"Do you not remember me, kid?!" Heliram shouts as he launches himself. Urza sees this and shouts to him, "Heliram no!" but it's too late, Kale quickly turned and, using the momentum, the force of his blade became sharper.

"This is one!" Kale thought as he saw the blade coming towards Heliram's neck. But, there's someone who stopped kale.

"Another one? How many guys are there here?" Kale thinks as he tries to see if the other Urza is still behind him.

"Dagger! You have to be careful, that guy... there's something weird around him" Urza said to this guy called Dagger.

"Boss, there's no need to force this fight, the inspector is coming. If we lose more lives here, it will be more disgraceful than losing a slave" Dagger suggests as he holds Heliram back.

"You're right. Dagger, grab Heliram and retreat" Urza ordered, and then Dagger bowed.

"This is your lucky day, young man... just hope we won't see each other again" Urza said with a clear hint of anger.

"Oh, I think we will" Kale said, taunting the man.

"Yeah... I think so" Urza replied, slowly fading into the bush.

"Hah.. what a troublesome situation that is... I just got saved by that man named Dagger... well, to be fair, I can take one of them with me in that fight, so they're just cutting losses" Kale thought as he looked at the young man lying in the tree.

"I'm surprised they didn't kill you when I'm not looking" Kale said, clearly joking, but the young man bowed his head.

"Thank you! Thank you! If there's anything I can do for you please just say it! Except for money... but any physical labor I can do that!" The young man is grateful beyond what Kale thought he was.

To Kale, his gesture is nothing but a logical thing to do in this kind of situation. But to the man, Kale is like an angel that God graced him to be helped. He looks like a shining figure that he can only imagine.
