Chapter 1 - Chapter 1219: Training Plan

Aoki roughly divided the Pokémon training mission into three stages.

The first stage, which is the first ten days, is mainly to complete some self-training, such as to make flexible use of what was learned in the battles in the previous period, and to combine the experience gained with the energy absorbed, which may also lead to a significant improvement in hard power.

The second stage, the middle ten days, is to let the Pokémons work together, mainly to let the two cores try to combine to achieve a complementary effect.

Ten days may not be enough for this stage, so it can be adjusted and postponed appropriately.

The last stage, which is the last ten days or less, is to find a few opponents with good strength to conduct simulated battles, in order to make his ideas come true.

Aoki already has some ideas about the final candidates.

That is roughly the plan, of course there will definitely be some time deviations in the middle, and Aoki needs to make adjustments himself.

After gathering the Pokémon, he assigned training tasks to them one by one.

Among them, Slowking and Tyranitar were the two Pokémon that Aoki kept behind and specifically emphasized.

At this point, Slowking has reached level 72. After digesting its battle gains over the past month, it should be able to level up another one or two times. With Aoki's psychic boost, it might even have a chance to challenge for a Champion rank.

Tyranitar, having fought the most battles and defeated the most opponents at Meteor Falls, has reached level 69.

With another month, reaching Elite Four shouldn't be a problem, and it might even gain another two or three levels.

It's a pity it can't use Mega Evolution; otherwise, with Tyranitar's potential and explosive power, and the inherent advantages of a pseudo-legendary Pokémon, reaching Champion rank after Mega Evolution wouldn't be impossible.

If both core Pokémon can reach near-championship level, then even if Aoki's other Pokémon are weaker, they can still directly confront some of the weaker Elite Four.

For example, Lance, who just became the Dragon-type Elite Four member.

However, Mega Evolution cannot be achieved yet. Neither Aoki, the League, nor any of the various factions are prepared to receive this special ability.

Aoki has already ordered Team Flare to secretly collect Mega Stones, and Jarvis, as the First Minister in Azot, has also received the same order.

As for the final result, it depends on their efforts.

Slowking, a Water/Psychic-type, and Tyranitar, a Rock/Dark-type, are not a particularly outstanding combination, but they are currently the most suitable core Pokémon for Aoki's team.

Slowking's Psychic ability and Tyranitar's Rock type can still be combined.

"Slowking, do you remember Gardevoir's Psychic Web?" Aoki asked, looking at Slowking.

  Hearing Aoki's question, Slowking nodded.

He could also weave a Psychic Web, but he couldn't reach the level of Gardevoir.

"Your goal during this time is to weave a psychic web even larger and denser than that Gardevoir's. I know this will consume a lot of energy for you, but don't worry, I'll make you a special training-grade energy cube for a month later," Aoki said.

Slowking immediately nodded, eager to try.

Gardevoir had left a deep impression on Slowking that day; it was the first time he had been suppressed from all sides when facing a Psychic-type Pokémon.

"Don't forget your Water type. You can try integrating your psychic powers into your water flow and then distributing that water in various corners of the field. This will make it easier for you to weave your psychic web."

After giving Slowking some inspiration, he let him go aside to learn and try it on his own.

Pokémon that aren't pure Psychic-type don't have such pure psychic powers, but correspondingly, they have more room for error.

"Tyranitar, energy control has always been your strength. You can control the sand and rocks in a sandstorm quite well, but that's not enough. You need to be able to make the sand act according to your will with just a slight thought. Only

when it's as easy to command as an extension of your arm can you truly unleash the power of the Sandstorm King.

Moreover, in a sandstorm, your sand is a source of support for your companions, playing a significant role in both offense and defense.

Standing in the very center of the sandstorm, you need to be aware of everything around you.

At the same time, you also need to gradually learn to master the double sandstorm."

Tyranitar is arguably the Pokémon that Aoki currently has the highest hopes for.

Even though Diancie and Magearna have higher potential than Tyranitar, Tyranitar is still the Pokémon that Aoki places the most hopes on.

Because at this moment, all of Aoki's plans are based on Tyranitar; only when Tyranitar is stronger can Aoki's ideas and team composition become more perfect.

There might be a second or third Pokémon with the same high expectations in the future, but for now, there's only Tyranitar.

  Tyranitar

nodded, indicating he understood. He could clearly feel Aoki's hopes for him.

Aoki, a father, friend, and mentor, was the reason Tyranitar had worked so hard and strived throughout his life. For Aoki, and to make Tyranitar's name resound throughout the world, he was willing to risk everything.

Aoki patted Tyranitar's arm approvingly. "You can do it, believe in yourself.

When training, you can start with heavier rocks. Once you get used to large rocks, switch to smaller ones, and then to sand. This should give you a good sense of how much sand you can combine."

Starting with sand and gradually increasing the size of the rocks would also improve control, but it would be slower and not suitable for Tyranitar's current state.

Using heavy potions directly would be tiring at first, but it would become easier later.

"Don't worry, I'll give you special energy cubes," Aoki reassured him.

Tyranitar nodded and went off to train with great enthusiasm.

Actually, it wasn't just Slowking and Tyranitar; most of Aoki's Pokémon would receive a special supply of Energy Cubes for the next month.

The materials for these Energy Cubes were the ones Aoki had traded with Giovanni over the phone.

All four of the cult leader's veteran Elite Four-level Pokémon, except for Gardevoir, were traded for resources.

The amount of resources four veteran Elite Four-level Pokémon could obtain was enormous, yet Aoki compressed it into a month's worth of consumption.

This shows just how extravagant the Energy Cubes Aoki was preparing for them were.

There would certainly be some waste, but Aoki was willing to bear it for the sake of the Elite Four positions.

Even with the powerful Zuvoki family as a backer, the materials and resources Daigo used for his Pokémon during this month wouldn't be much better than Aoki's.

Aoki barely managed to keep up with the full support of a major family within a month.

Even a family as large as Zuvoki couldn't continuously provide Daigo with such excessive consumption.

While the family was large and had abundant resources, they also had many people and high expenses.

Aoki is now being nurtured by the Sky Team, an underground force entrenched in Violet City, with its money-making ability, which is why he is barely managing to stay afloat.
