Alice's POV
The next morning, I woke up to my phone buzzing with messages from Dominic apologizing for overstepping and asking if we could talk. I showed Bryan the messages and watched his face darken.
"I'm coming to your office today," Bryan said. "Alice, I need Dominic to see us together so he understands you're taken."
"Bryan that's going to be awkward," I said.
"I don't care," he said. "Alice I need to do this or I'm going to go crazy thinking about him touching you."
So that afternoon, Bryan showed up at Reed Technologies and I met him in the lobby. He pulled me into a kiss that was definitely too intense for a professional setting, and I saw several employees staring.
"Bryan people are watching," I hissed when he finally let me breathe.
"Good," he said. "Let them watch, let everyone here know you're my wife."
We went up to my office, and I wasn't surprised when Dominic appeared five minutes later looking tense.
