"Sure thing, I'll get that for you right away," the server responded.
Savory House operated as more than your typical buffet—it ranked among the city's premier dining establishments. While ordinary customers served themselves in the main dining area, VIP members like me simply placed orders and had meals delivered directly to our table.
"You're planning to cook?" Sloane questioned, clearly confused about why I'd requested separate cookware.
"That's right." I flashed a relaxed smile, feeling completely at ease.
"You actually know how to cook?" Wilson finally spoke up, his tone skeptical and curious.
I passed him a glass of water. "Want to find out?"
"I'm game," he answered.
Sloane just shook her head—she knew Wilson had no clue what he was in for with my cooking.
The kitchen equipment and ingredients arrived shortly after.
