Chapter 6 - No—NO—!

The red dot on Chitki's tablet moved.

Closer.

Closer.

Too close.

THUD.

The front door blew apart.

Wood, metal, and concrete burst inward in a violent roar. No one had time to think—panic detonated instantly.

"RUN—!" Bandy screamed, already turning.

Bandri grabbed him. Water Beauty froze. Poppy's breath hitched. The room drowned in fear.

Through the smoke, a silhouette stepped in.

Slow. Unbothered.

Blood dripped from his coat as he walked like the place belonged to him.

Kunter.

Without a word—

BLAST.

Chitki raised her metal arm and fired.

Kunter vanished in a blur and reappeared directly in front of her.

"—WHAT!?"

She switched instantly—metal reshaping into a blade—and slashed.

CRACK.

Kunter caught it.

And broke the arm with brute force.

Metal screamed.

Before Chitki could react, he leapt onto her mecha suit and stabbed her own shattered arm straight into it, over and over.

WARNING.

SYSTEM FAILURE.

MOBILITY LOST.

CORE DAMAGED.

"No—NO—!" Chitki shouted.

Tema's eyes flared.

Kunter was ripped off mid-air and hurled outside like a missile, crashing through walls and trees.

"MOVE!" Tema commanded.

Bandri and Water Beauty grabbed Chitki, dragging her away as the suit sparked and died.

The rain roared.

Kunter rose from the debris.

A presence flashed—

Bear teleported behind him, preparing for an attack.

But it didn't look like it affected Kunter much.

He turned on instinct alone—

WHACK.

A brutal punch slammed into Bear's face, launching him across the ground like a broken cannonball.

"TUKA!" Tema shouted.

Kunter was already there.

Tuka braced himself to endure, flames igniting—

Then Kunter's hand shifted.

Claws unfolded. Long. Sharp. Lethal.

Tuka's eyes widened. He knew if he didn't do anything now he might be KILLED today

But before the strike—

BOOM!

A bomb exploded between them.

Smoke swallowed the field.

"HEY! OVER HERE, MUTT!" Chiki's voice rang out, reckless, taunting.

Kunter snarled.

Chiki made a run for it,hoping it would buy him and his team some time.

He threw a smoke grenade at Kunter's feet and bolted.

"Just slow him down—justasecond!—"

The smoke parted.

A smell.

A heartbeat.

Chiki sensed something.

He turned—

—and saw not a man, but a wild predator behind him, thirsting for his blood.

Kunter's red eyes burned through the haze, claws aimed straight at Chiki's chest.

Too close.

Too fast.

No escape.
