Descending down the gloomy and dark staircase was a nightmare. No hint at where they were, no promise for comfort. Yet, the further they went, the wider it seemed to become. And then, a light showed. Desperate for clarity and attuned to seeing, Anakin pulled his partners faster, edging closer and closer into the light. Bursting out, they saw something that defied what they thought possible. The entire planet was hollow. And inside? The biggest, most intricate system of traps and things made to keep you out. Full of confidence, Anakin boasted, "This will be a piece of cake! Snips, can you keep up?" as he dodged and weaved through it all, with the others following suit. Now, finishing that crazy obstacle course, they stood in the center of it all, and their prize? A coffin. This was a burial ground, or was that what they were meant to think? Thoughts clouded by endless questions, they failed to notice the spectral figure from previously staring at them, a look on its face that screamed satisfaction. Unknown to them, they had disproven this figure's fears. It now knew that the chosen one was continuing down the intended path, as it had hoped for. Satisfied, it disappeared, confident they would leave immediately. However, Ahoska's curiosity got the better of her, and she wiped away the vines from it, laying her eyes upon an inscription.
"It says, 'WHOEVER SEEKS DELIVERANCE FROM AN UNSTOPPABLE EVIL, SUMMON UP THE KNIGHT OF THE SKY,'" read Ahsoka. "Creepy! Wait, do you think that the Sith count as an unstoppable evil?" questioned Ahsoka, who really just wanted answers.
Anakin, with his curiosity and need for a way beyond the Jedi Order, agreed without hesitation. Obi-Wan, however, was not so sure. "I'm telling the council first. This is getting serious!" exclaimed Kenobi as he called the council. Or attempted, that is.
"Looks like the pure thickness of the cave is blocking out all signals!" exclaimed Anakin, but he wasn't so sure that was the only thing.
"The frequencies aren't being disrupted; they're being redirected! It's almost as if someone or something is doing this on purpose!" announced Ahsoka, her confidence dipping by the minute. Yet as they stood there, unsure of their next move, the cave decided for them. The exit was sealed with a terrifying groan of worn-out rock.
"Watch out!" exclaimed Anakin as he shielded his friends with the Force.
"Well, looks like we're stuck. What now?" questioned Ahsoka, who was now eager for answers and a way out. As they stood there, thinking of what their next move was, the spectral image gained a worried tone to it. Perhaps he had been too excited? He wasn't careful enough, and now they were stuck and would wreck the place escaping. And he couldn't have that; oh no, he couldn't! So, with its decision made, it sent a tremor through the cave, its plan in action.
