Arlene's POV
Warner has been buried in the information we discovered, working through every detail without pause. My mind still struggles to process everything they revealed to us. The documents suggest both of my parents are alive, existing as adversaries to each other. Is our entire existence nothing more than some twisted experiment? Are we just test subjects in a game to determine who can create the most powerful offspring? What could possibly be the ultimate objective behind all this?
"Can we pause and discuss this for a moment?" I ask Warner while we clean the dinner dishes together. He freezes mid-motion and meets my gaze.
"Of course," he responds with a nod.
"How does this revelation alter our role as the Royal Rogue family?" I press him for answers.
