Chapter 56 - Taboo Love And Sibling Fury (2)

A thin, terrifying smile appeared on Kazien's face. That twisted hope grew lushly.

However, that hope was immediately shattered by Virena's physical action.

Suddenly, Virena's hands, which had been gripping his shoulders, moved quickly to Kazien's neck. Their face-to-face position allowed Virena to easily strangle her brother with both hands.

"Gkhh!"

Kazien's eyes went wide. The oxygen in his lungs stopped instantly. Virena pinned him down, pressing him against the pool wall while strangling him.

Alvin, seeing this, panicked immediately. His face went pale seeing his future husband being strangled by his own sister. "S-Sis Virena?!" he shouted.

"What are you thinking, you stupid brother?!" Virena snapped, her face red with anger. "Why would you say such a crazy thing in front of Alvin?! You're talking about waiting for your brother's death and his reincarnation just to own him? Are you insane?!"

Kazien struggled, water splashing wildly. He patted the back of Virena's hands frantically, begging for mercy.

"Cough... Cough... Cough... L-Let go... Cough..."

Seeing her brother's face starting to turn blue, Virena finally released her grip. Kazien coughed violently, inhaling air greedily while holding his neck, which now bore red marks.

"Sis Virena, you're so mean!" Kazien protested with a hoarse voice and watery eyes. "Why did you strangle me? I almost died!"

Virena still glared at him wildly, her chest heaving. "I should be the one asking you! Why did you say something you shouldn't have said in front of Alvin? Don't you respect your own fiancé's feelings?!"

Kazien rubbed his neck, then glanced at Alvin casually, as if talking about incestuous reincarnation was a normal thing. "Alvin doesn't mind if it's Brother Davin. He knows everything. But if it were someone else, he would definitely beat me up too."

That answer made Virena's jaw drop. She turned slowly toward Alvin, who was sitting beside them. Her gaze now shifted targets.

Without warning, Virena released her hold on Kazien, shifted slightly, and immediately lunged for Alvin's neck.

"Ghhhuuk!" Alvin was shocked beyond belief as Virena's delicate but deadly hands were now strangling his neck.

"Why did you allow it, you idiot?!" Virena yelled while shaking Alvin's body. "Are you crazy, letting your future husband cheat on you with his own brother?! Where is your brain?!"

Kazien widened his eyes at the absurd sight. His sister was really going on a rampage against everyone today.

Alvin, whose strength was no match for Virena's rage, immediately struggled to breathe. He patted Virena's hands frantically, exactly as Kazien had done earlier.

"Cough... Cough... Cough... Sister Virena... that hurts, you know... Cough..." Alvin groaned.

"Just answer my question!" Virena snapped without loosening her grip. "Why did you allow him?!"

With his remaining breath, Alvin tried to answer. "Just... for my own satisfaction... Cough..."

Virena loosened her grip slightly, letting Alvin speak.

"If one of his biological siblings is by his side," Alvin continued with a raspy voice while holding his neck, "maybe that can make him feel calm. I know how much he misses his family. If having Brother Davin can keep him from missing his other four siblings too much, I'm willing. That's my way of keeping him sane."

Virena released Alvin completely, then moved back to her original position—sitting on Kazien's lap. She was stunned to hear Alvin's explanation. What kind of love makes someone willing to share their partner with their partner's own sibling for the sake of mental health?

Virena sighed deeply, trying to ease the headache in her temples. She leaned back again—this time just her head—on Kazien's shoulder, tired of all this madness.

"What about Sis Selena?" Virena asked suddenly, trying to change the topic to something slightly more 'normal'. "How is she?"

Kazien answered while rubbing his sister's back, "Sis Selena chose to die if Sarias dies. She purposely bound an eternity contract with me just to live longer with her husband. She wants to grow old with Sarias."

Virena nodded slowly. "At least that sounds romantic, not crazy like you." she murmured.

Virena already understood the gist of it. Thanks to Kazien's help, the issue of Sis Selena's lifespan and her elf husband had been resolved.

But her mind drifted back to the Davin problem.

She was still sitting on Kazien's lap, feeling her brother's heartbeat. I never expected my little brother to fall for him, Virena thought, her eyes staring blankly at the water's surface. I thought he would never fall in love with Davin.

Virena imagined Davin's face. I admit Davin has a very cute face, just like Mom. His face is sweet and innocent. But... why does my cute little brother have to like his own big brother? Why must it be by blood?!

Frustration peaked in Virena's chest again. She felt annoyed, angry, and confused. Her hand, which was underwater and resting on Kazien's thigh, moved unconsciously due to the overflow of emotion. She wanted to squeeze something to vent her annoyance.

And unfortunately, her straddling position on Kazien's lap placed her hand right in a dangerous area.

Without realizing it, Virena squeezed the hard object in her grasp with full force.

"AAAAKH!!"

Kazien's scream shattered the silence, louder than before. His body went rigid, water splashing everywhere as he tried to break free.

"Sister! Stop! IT HURTS! IT HURTS!" Kazien shrieked, his face turning bright red holding back the excruciating pain in his crotch. "Don't squeeze it like that! Are you intending to break my penis?!"

Virena gasped in shock, her eyes bulging when she realized what she was gripping tightly underwater. She immediately pulled her hand away as if electrocuted.

"Oh my goddness!" Virena cried out in panic. "Sorry! I'm so sorry, Kazien!"

Kazien curled up, burying his face in Virena's shoulder while hissing in pain. "First my neck, now my future?! You really are a cold-blooded killer!"

"I'm sorry, really! My mind is a mess!" Virena tried to rub her brother's back to soothe him, even though her own face was beet red with embarrassment. "I... I still can't wrap my head around you falling in love with Davin, who is your own biological brother. My brain feels like it's going to explode thinking about it, so my hand moved on its own!"

Alvin, still rubbing his sore neck, could only stare pitifully at the two siblings.
