Chapter 3 - Vision

— So that wasn't your joke, Cap? — Tony Stark asked with his trademark irony. — Superman in our world… Well, miracles really do happen!— I'll say it only once, — Captain America began, calm but firm.— What, just once? — Tony interrupted.— Shut it down, — Steve continued, referring to the body that Tony and Bruce Banner were planning to use to upload J.A.R.V.I.S.'s consciousness, Tony's AI.— Not a chance, — Tony replied firmly.— You don't know what you're doing, — said Steve.— Oh really? — Bruce Banner chimed in. — She certainly knows, — he gestured toward Wanda.— I know you're angry, — Wanda stepped forward, trying to ease the tension.— Angry? — Bruce raised his eyebrows. — I could snap your neck and not even turn green.

At that moment, Clark smoothly stepped in front of Wanda, shielding her:— Interesting, — his voice calm but threatening. — I could say the exact same thing to you. And believe me… you do not want to test my anger.

Wanda froze for a moment, her gaze locked on Clark, and she quietly exhaled:— Thank you…

— Remember what happened last time, Banner, — Steve stepped forward. His face was extremely serious.— It ended with flowers, — Tony interjected sarcastically.— You don't know what's inside, — Wanda said again, feeling more confident under Superman's protection.

Pietro rolled his eyes and, at super speed, dashed to Banner, snatching a thick cord — crucial for the body's operation.— Well, sorry about that, — Pietro said. — What do you say? — he asked Tony.

Suddenly, a gunshot rang out. The bullet rose from below and reached Pietro's eye level.

Clark reacted immediately. At super speed, he ran to Pietro, grabbed him, and pulled him back toward Wanda. In the spot where Pietro had been, a mirror shattered. Had he stayed there, he would have fallen straight onto Hawkeye, who had fired the shot.

Realizing this, Pietro looked gratefully at Clark and said, "Thanks, Superman!"

Something lit up on the computer screen, prompting Tony to say, "Alright, changing the route."

At the same moment, Captain America threw his vibranium shield forward, aiming at Tony's technology, trying to stop the creation of the AI body. From his perspective, he was preventing the birth of a second Ultron. The shield flew across the room, damaging some equipment.

Tony Stark reacted instantly. From the room opposite, breaking through a mirror, his left Iron Man gauntlet appeared and fired at Steve Rogers, knocking him back a meter. At the same time, other parts of the Iron Man armor attached to Tony's back.

Wanda was gathering her Scarlet magic, wanting to help, while Bruce Banner ran up behind her. But Clark reacted even faster and, with a single push from his right hand, sent Bruce to the far end of the room.

Meanwhile, as the fight escalated, Thor, son of Odin, jumped onto the capsule containing the AI body. He lifted Mjolnir, which began gathering lightning.— Stop! — shouted Bruce Banner.

But Thor had no intention of listening. Gathering enough lightning on Mjolnir, he struck the capsule lightly, and the electricity spread in all directions.

A sudden silence fell over the room. Everyone froze, assessing the possible consequences.

Suddenly, a massive explosion occurred! A shadowy figure burst out of the capsule, and in the same instant, it knocked Thor several meters backward with a single blow.

The red figure froze at the end of the capsule, slowly rising and revealing a robotic body covered in red "skin." The figure looked around. A yellow Infinity Stone gleamed on its forehead.

Thor felt a strange, piercing gaze upon him. The creature lunged at him without warning, but the Asgardian prince just raised an eyebrow — and with minimal effort, pushed the attacker aside. It flew through reinforced glass, shattering it, but stopped just short of the last partition, hovering unnaturally in midair.

Jumping, Thor and Captain America approached from behind. Thor gestured to Steve to stop and watch. They complied.

The robot stared at the world through the glass for several seconds. Then Thor placed Mjolnir on the table. Everyone gathered in the center, and the robot floated toward them.— Sorry for the… chaos, — the red robot said in a human voice. — Thank you, — it added to Thor, who had helped bring it to life. Thor nodded.

A long golden cape materialized from the robot's back.— Thor… you helped create him, — said Steve.— I had a vision, — Thor replied. — A whirlpool that would swallow all life, and at its center, this, — he pointed to the yellow stone on the robot's forehead.— The stone? — asked Bruce.— The Mind Stone, — said Thor. — One of the six Infinity Stones. There is no force in the universe that can match its destructive power.— Then why… — Steve began, but Thor interrupted: — Stark is right.— Well, the end of the world is definitely here, — said Bruce.— The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron, — said Thor.— Alone, — added the red robot.— Why does your Vision have J.A.R.V.I.S.'s voice? — Steve asked.— We used J.A.R.V.I.S.'s matrix as a base, — Tony replied. — And created something new.— Maybe enough with "new"? — Steve complained.— Do you think I'm Ultron's child? — asked the red robot.— Then who else? — asked Steve.— I am not Ultron… I'm not even J.A.R.V.I.S… I am Vision, — said Vision, lifting his head.

Thus, after a minute of conversation, raising Mjolnir and proving the purity of his intentions, Vision officially joined the Avengers.
