Jack's brother advised him to confess to the girl he likes before getting late. Jack thought it right . So he sent the message to Marlin that he like her & will she be his girlfriend?.
On other side, Ray was checking a recording in Marlin's phone with Albert. At that time Jack message received since they working on Marlin's phone, notification received, it was just two sentence & poped up on the screen without get into it.
They saw a guy proposed her, then Albert saw the name he recognized that Jack is the one Marlin defended that day. Ray was excited to know Marlin's answer. Albert said , tell her when return it.
Ray showed the video of Marlin what happened in police station. Albert reaction was, she is nothing but just emotional & forgot she's a girl. But Albert felt her anger is interesting.
So he called her Otter. Ray surprised that he keeps her nick name as Otter.
Now Ray, remembered during argument Marlin called Albert as gorilla. He was teasing Albert with the names.
Next day is weekend, so Marlin was looking for her phone in house forgot that he gave it to Ray. She searched inside out can't found. So Tara called Marlin number, Marlin was with her .
Ray was at park ,he received a call from Marlin phone. He answered it,on other side Tara was the one speaking, she don't about phone recording, she thought it's a thief.
Tara spoke to Ray in that way , Ray get it, its a misunderstanding. So he said Marlin gave it to him by herself.
Then, Marlin remembered, so Ray asked her to get back a phone in park where he is right now. Once he ended the call , another call received from his phone. It was Albert ,he informed that there is murdered happened so asked him to come over there.
Ray left a park immediately , headed to the crime spot happened. Marlin looked for Ray in park ,he wasn't there, so she called him from Tara's phone, asked where he is?
Then ,he informed, he is in crime spot if it's convenient to come over there.
Marlin said since it's a Saturday, no problem I'll be there.
After a while, Marlin reached the spot & watched Albert was asking a lady about the murder who is a mother of a girl had died.
That lady was crying & shocked trembling and not in condition could speak . Albert was focused at getting information from her & forcing her. He doesn't care about her emotions & her crying.
Marlin got irritated, she went over & pulled him up and said,
"I know you're mannerless but now I know you're heartless & emotionless person as well.
A person who is in pain could understands others pain and pain needs heart to understand it which you don't have."
Albert's face expression changed when she said this.Marlin told him, "It can be one of the cases you took but for her ,she lost her daughter. I know you need informations but this is not a way to talk if you keep asking her in this way ,she won't say a word".
He was like ," she is the only one who saw murder & what're you doing here? . Ms. Otter!!!, If you're that known, then try it!!!."
Marlin told,"Call me by my name, Marlin!!! ,Fine."
She went to that lady & gave a glass of water , said," I understand your feelings, she's your daughter . But she must have dreams & wanted to live long ".
That lady was like shaked her head like yes & told she wanted to be an veterinary doctor.
Marlin told that lady, "We must find the person who destroyed her dreams & give a punishment will bring your daughter's soul in peace. Plz tell us what happened.
That lady agreed to tell ,Albert was surprised & impressed. So Marlin was listening her & Albert all hears .
Ray came to Marlin, she went to him hello Mr???
He said ,"I'm Ray, how's your sister doing?."
Marlin replied, "She is great , Ray it's sounds familiar ,Anyway phone !!
He gave it & told," its rare to find a person who stay away from phone this long. You told you've millions followers how you get that??."
Marlin was like ,"Uhh ,that's not mine ,i don't use social media".
Albert looked at her suddenly, Ray said ,"you're more like Albert".
Marlin saw Albert top to bottom & said," that's not a compliment".
While she was talking to Ray, a guy came & told only they got footprints & few fingerprint nothing more. No fingerprint in murder weapon.
Marlin asked permission to Ray to look a crime spot. He said ",you may get scared ,are you sure?
Marlin gave a side smile & fear me ,Nah ,nope!!.
Ray waved Albert, Albert agreed.
So Marlin went in ,Ray & Albert followed her to see her reaction. She was normal enter into a living area, there was corpse with a blood & forensics marked a footprints.
She went near to corpse & said if you were alive ,I bet you would be a great doctor.
Ray & Albert reaction was surpised cause she didn't even hesitate or afraid by watching this .
Ray asked ,"Marlin, have you seen kind of stuffs before?."
Marlin told," No ,this is my first time & don't disturb me".
Marlin saw that girl being stabbed thrice. Door looked fine, no broken marks.
Then ,she suddenly followed the footprints there was four step stop infront of wall. She took four steps & stand watching the wall .
Ray & Albert got confused what she's looking at?
She get the stool over there which was already there around but in corner & put it where the last footprints stopped. She climbed up with UV light & torched it at the wall where it seems strange with orange color.
Albert was like what she is doing?
It showed blue color something written on the wall in UV light , Ray ,Albert & rest of them get shocked. Because the killer wrote it with the blood of that girl & cleared it later.
Which is ," if police have courage to capture me ,I dare if they could"!!!.
Ray & Albert was stunned because forensics finished their work but none of them found this ,but she did.
The stool she climbed up , killer used the same. Then forensics written that stuffs & stool marked.
She came down & watched a blood strain ,suddenly asked Ray to move a table . With a confusion he did , Under a table she found a lighter with a slight blood.
Since she wore a gloves, watched a lighter it seems peculiar.
Ray & Albert was super stunned how exactly she find this ? . Because forensics hasn't found this but she did.
Marlin told Ray, this lighter might be customized, it will lead you to killer, find the owner of this lighter ,he's the killer.
This might be a revenge, the killer is well known by that girl that's why she opened a door for that person. I don't think her or her mother smoking habit. It's not his first time for sure. Because it's so clean the fingerprints forensics got that's not has his fingerprint.
He used gloves since he entered, he must be a boyfriend of her cause he stabbed thrice, it must be a revenge. His lighter fell down because she tried to defend & escape. So without his knowledge it fell down. Before he found he lost his lighter, you must get him.
The lady heard a sound came down & saw the crime and fainted immediately out of shock, then he wrote that & cleaned it ,so wall looks different in that place.
Albert was stunned because Marlin already solved the case only find a killer is balance. Her explanation was clean & logical.
Ray said," you look like Albert's disciple". Marlin told ,"he is not deserved for being my master."
Marlin left,Albert was watching her leaving by admiring her skill since its her first time but it doesn't seems like that. Ray asked "what are you looking at?"
Albert said," she's smart but carries lot of rude & arrogance attitude".
Ray was smiling & told not more than you.
