Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Inside a dark old castle was a frail looking young man with bags under his eyes crouched on the ceiling of the castle. His eyes where flickering, changing between pale gray and black obsidian while he looked around the large hall before settling on a statue hidden by the throne so perfectly you would think its part of the throne it's self if not for it's black eyes hidden behind a helmet looking straight at Shawn.

"Let me guess, your favorite color is black?"

Shawn's eyes dimmed and he started falling from the ceiling keeping his eyes on the Statue.

'huh this feels a bit easy' he thought 'How can you be able to see me from a long distance and not be able to attack me?'. His eyes glowed for a moment before he disappeared mid air and appeared infront of the statue with his arm pulled back in a punching motion with a grin on his face.

The statue seemed confused before turning its head towards Shawn while unsheathing it's sword in one fell motion allas it was too late as a pale grey fist smashed into its face like a cannon ball managing to turn the clay head into fine dust.

" That was too easy."

Shawn immediately jumped upwards while forming a grey shield around his body whioe his eyes darted around the hall looking for what was amiss. After waiting for a few seconds for an attack and receiving none Shawn decided to fly towards towards the hole in the castle ceiling. Looking towards the ceiling he managed to spot a rock falling only for it to be frozen midair perplexed he tried turning his head realzing only his eyes were moving.

"Your a fast one."

An elf started materializing near the hole in the ceiling with his hands behind his back

"Lucky for me i can freeze the space in a specific area trapping all those in it. So shall we have a chat?."

Smiling the Elf started floating towards shawn while pointing a ward in his direction.

"Nope."

Shawns eyes glowed for a split second before disappearing like he wasn't there. With wide eyes, the elf seemed frozen mid air with his mouth opened as if he had something to say.

"Ohhh seems your space element is useless."

A voice rang out before another elf materialized near the area Shawn was frozen.

"Or he's just that good to escape from from Remir."

A female voice rang out this time near the throne before a beautiful elf whose body seemed otherworldly it would turn any male teenager into a willing slave appeared sitted on the throne like its rightfull queen.

"I've never seen him before, even Almond seems surprised. "

Remir voiced out his voice betraying a bit of wary and unease while he looked towards Amber who was sitting on the throne.

"If he's in such an area that means even the humans don't know about him." Almond voiced out " let's hope he's not a walker."

In a tower at the edge of the castle Shawn appeared like a ghost and with his pale grey eyes he would sell like one if not for the sweat falling from his fore head.

"Tsk. Three against one and you just want to talk shame on you."

Shawn dropped to the floor, scanning the room with his black obsidian eyes finally settling on a hanged skeleton in the middle of the room. Floating towards the skeleton, it's head creaked a little before starring in his direction, darkness nesting in it's eyes.

In a split second, its hands that looked like claws moved towards Shawn's head slicing the air they made soft cutting sounds, With a grin plastered on his face, Shawn pulled his head back before blowing the skeleton as if turning off a candle. The skeleton started crumbling before turning into fine dust while letting out a soul wrenching scream.

"Tsk. Why did you have to scream, you could have just died in silence."

Shawn grimaced and his eyes started glowing in a pale grey light. Holding out his hands, he started lifting everything in the room that seemed still usefull not even sparing the skeleton's dress and the fabric it had it hanged it's self on. Pulling out a knife laced with old engravings from his jacket, Shawn made a cutting motion infront of him and a dark line opened before he tossed everything inside and closed it by sheathing the knife. Before disappearing from the room.

A few seconds later, Shawn appeared inside a lake in the middle of the forest.

" Tsk. Gotta memorize areas else this lake will drown me one day."

Swimming to the shore, Shawn's eyes glowed before the water was forcefully removed from his body and clothes. Looking at the water droplets floating around him, Shawn started gathering them in a sphere infront of him condensing it until it became small before storing it in his bag that seemed to be filled with pebbles of similar size all shimmering with different colors.

Awuuuuuuuuuuu

A howl rang out in the woods startling Shawn. looking up, he saw the moon was already high in the sky and started flying off like a mad man towards the dense woods.

Picking up his hunting tools from a cave in the middle of the forest, Shawn opened his bag and there a red small sized pebble to his left before disappearing.

The pebble froze mid air as if held by something.

"What's this?".

Remir appeared holding the pebble in his hand, intrigued by it's red color.

"Almost looks like fire, condensed fire."

Almond appeared infront of Remir staring at the pebble, poking it with wonder.

"Throw it."

Amber's voice rang out before slapping the pebble away from Remir's hands while forming a shield made out of water.

"Why did you sla-".

Boooooom

An explosion rang out in the middle of the night disrupting the silence of the forest, with wolves howling and birds flapping their wings.
