In the Andromeda Galaxy, 2.5 million light years from earth, an unseen Solar system cluster of seven planets exists. Revolving around the luminous, Gamma Andromedae, the planets and their inhabitants, have adapted to harsh solar radiations in many ways.
The most dominant inhabitants of these seven heavenly bodies, are the Elementals. A race of beings that have gained exceptional control over the very elements that make up the universe's existence.
With their bodies completely fused to one specific element each, they live their lives exhibiting abilities that resonate with these elements.
500 years ago,
A war broke out after the assassination of the prime ambassador for the third planet. The culprit was suspected to be a Sulphurian. As such, the third of the six noble gods sent out his legion of transition knights to hunt every last Sulphurian in the Galaxy.
The war between the Noble gods and the Sulphurian race, was intense. It is said that the death of an elemental, known as dissociation, can cause several catastrophic disasters, due to the natural catalystic reactivity of their forms breaking down. As such, the third planet became a waste land a it's people were evacuated to the first planet.
The Noble gods, having wiped out the race of Sulphurians from he Galaxy, sought to allow the people of Andromeda to vent out their frustration In a more safe manner. As such, at the end of every year, a tournament is held. It's victors are chosen to join the Noble army under the command of the Noble gods and is given a substantial amount of currency as a reward.
The tournament's rules were simple. Each participant was sent to the third planet, no called the wasteland. There, they were given wrist bands with pint accumulation abilities. Each participant had one point at the start and could gain points by making an opponent submit or killing them. There were no match ups and the participants were free to domas they pleased once the tournament began.
After years of participation on the contest, some elementals began to refer to it as PERIODICA: TOURNAMENT OF ELEMENTS.
The Noble gods, known as hexagram, were proud of the peace through brotherly competition they had brought about as they ruled over the seven planets of Andromeda. They were certain all was well.
However, when the wounds of war are not properly covered, the nuisances of the past tend to be attracted to it.
In a remote lush forest on the fourth planet, an escape craft that had crashed there for a seemingly long time had opened up. The hand of a yellow eyed, scar faced man popped out of it. He was still alive.
He got out of the pod and muttered to himself,
" It would seem the pod perfectly preserved my body. But how long have I been in stasis? I couldn't say goodbye to her before she shuved me into the pod without warning. Why did she sacrifice herself for me. The pod was meant for Her!!!".
Saying this the image of a smiling yellow eyed woman with lush brown hair flashed in his mind. He began to sob in pain, as he remembered her.
Clutching a small red handkerchief with his other hand, he stood up from the pod and decided with rage in his eyes that he would find who ever decided to issue such a cruel order to be carried out.
On his tattered office shirt, a name tag ruffled up by dirt could be seen. On it the name "Lucifer Brimstone" was written in red ink.
As he walked away towards the horizon, where the City of Positronia was, it was obvious that the war was far from over. A sudden orb of fire erupted from the man's right hand, destroying the escape pod with an explosion.
