Douluo Continent, northern Star Luo Empire, Yinchuan City.

Yinchuan City is a major city in the northern Star Luo Empire. Due to its flat terrain, mild climate, and abundant rainfall, it possesses unique advantages for medicinal planting, making it the primary medicinal supply hub in northern Star Luo.

On the Douluo Continent, there are two great Empires, or perhaps they could be called two Alliances. This is because within these two great Empires, vast territories are feudalized to vassals, and there are countless nobles who possess armed forces.

One of these two Empires is the Star Luo Empire, where Yinchuan City is located, and the other is the Heaven Dou Empire, situated north of Star Luo.

Yinchuan City is less than 800 li away from the Heaven Dou Empire, making it the closest city in the Star Luo Empire to the Heaven Dou Empire.

The sky was just beginning to lighten, and a faint, fish-belly white hue rose in the distant east.

Inside the manor of the Breaking Clan, located east of Yinchuan City, was a secluded courtyard. Entering the courtyard, one would find it was not luxurious; on the contrary, it was quiet and simple. The courtyard was paved with bluestone, and the layout was elegant and natural, with flowerbeds, lawns, and a medicinal garden arranged harmoniously, giving a sense of comfort. The architectural style was minimalist and natural, utilizing mostly raw wood and stone, appearing ancient and peaceful.

Within the courtyard, a small, slender figure was practicing spear techniques with a miniature long spear. It was a young boy, appearing to be five or six years old, with a pair of bright, piercing eyes, heroic eyebrows, and a high nose bridge, making him unforgettable at first sight.

Swish~

Whoosh~

Wail~

The long spear danced; its tip was like a Dragon. With every movement, it drew arcs of light, like a hidden Dragon emerging from the abyss, immensely powerful. The dancing spear shadows were picturesque, revealing stability within their agility, exuding an unparalleled charm. If one hadn't seen it with their own eyes, it would be hard to imagine such masterful spear techniques coming from the hands of a child.

Huuu~~~

Having finished the set of spear techniques, the boy exhaled a mouthful of foul Qi; a stream of white air shot out from his mouth like a bolt of silk. He put down the spear, picked up the towel nearby to wipe the sweat from his forehead, and looked up at the dimly lit sky. He had something he needed to do today, not only because of its necessity but also to uncover the truth of what happened years ago.

The youth was Yun Ming, the Grandfather of Yang Wudi, the Clan Chief of the Breaking Clan. He was also Yun Ming, the Sea God Pavilion Master of Shrek Academy, twenty thousand years in the future.

Although Yun Ming had returned twenty thousand years into the past and undergone Rebirth, his memory was problematic. He still possessed the behavioral habits, personality, and physical instincts of his previous life, but his memories from that life had not yet recovered. Of course, they had only not recovered yet!

The memories currently stored in his mind were all from this life.

Today was very special. It was Yun Ming's sixth birthday, and also the Clan's memorial day!

It was a day to mourn the clansmen who died at the hands of Spirit Hall because of the Clear Sky Sect, and to mourn Yun Ming's deceased parents and uncle. Due to the unique nature of this date, Yun Ming had never celebrated his birthday.

Watching the sky, Yun Ming sorted out his thoughts, returned to his room to tidy up and wash, preparing to participate in the upcoming memorial ceremony.

Perhaps sensing the sorrowful atmosphere of the Yang family, the weather was poor today. Thick, overcast clouds filled the sky, making the entire World gloomy.

Just as Yun Ming finished washing up, dressed in white mourning clothes, and stepped out of his room, he saw an old man waiting in the courtyard.

The old man was tall and slender, with a well-proportioned physique, dark hair, and a ruddy complexion. However, his expression was somewhat grim; his dark, hawk-like eyes gave off a chilling sensation, making him appear cold and aloof. This person was none other than the current Clan Chief of the Breaking Clan, Yun Ming's maternal grandfather, Yang Wudi.

When Yang Wudi saw his Grandfather was ready, his expression remained unchanged and cold. He directly called out to Yun Ming.

"Let's go, it's about to start!"

Seeing this, Yun Ming did not say much, simply stepping forward and taking Yang Wudi's hand. Yang Wudi's mood was especially poor on these specific days every year. Yun Ming knew the reason and was used to it; all he could do was let his maternal grandfather feel his presence so that he wouldn't be so sad.

When Yang Wudi saw his Grandfather proactively take his hand, although his expression didn't change, the coldness in his eyes quietly receded somewhat. He tightened his grip on Yun Ming's hand, and they walked together toward the Clan ancestral hall.

By the time Yang Wudi and his Grandfather arrived at the ancestral hall, the rest of the clansmen had mostly gathered. There weren't many people, only about four hundred. Seeing the two arrive, they stepped forward to greet them.

Clan Chief!

Clan Chief!

Clan Chief!

Yang Wudi nodded in response, leading Yun Ming through the crowd to the front of the ancestral hall, where the sacrificial table, laden with various offerings, was placed.

Yun Ming looked at the spirit tablets behind the sacrificial table, inscribed with his parents' names. Although he tried hard to maintain composure on his young face, his eyes held a silent, poignant sorrow, quiet yet tragically beautiful.

Yang Wudi watched the sorrowful expression displayed by Yun Ming, who had been intelligent, sensible, and strong since childhood. His heart twisted with pain, but after the pain came bone-deep hatred. It was as if endless flames were burning in his chest, making him unable to suppress his own Killing Intent.

Sensing the tyrannical Killing Intent emanating from Yang Wudi, everyone instantly felt as if they had fallen into an ice cellar, trembling in silence. Yun Ming was also affected by this Killing Intent. Temporarily breaking free from his sadness, he spoke up to remind his maternal grandfather, Yang Wudi.

Maternal grandfather, the ceremony should begin now!

Hearing Yun Ming's reminder, Yang Wudi snapped back to reality. Looking at the terrified clansmen around him, he withdrew his Killing Intent and spoke to the clansman responsible for conducting the ritual.

"Begin!"

The clansmen inside the ancestral hall relaxed once they saw the Clan Chief retract his Killing Intent, unable to help but marvel at his power.

The clansman conducting the ritual quickly stepped forward upon receiving the Clan Chief's command and began the ceremony.

The memorial ceremony begins!

Play the music!

As the rituals playing music, setting off firecrackers, beating drums, ringing bells, and sweeping dust were completed one by one, the proceedings reached the incense offering stage.

After Yang Wudi finished offering incense, Yun Ming stepped forward, took the incense handed to him by Yang Wudi, looked at the spirit tablets of his parents and clansmen, and made a solemn promise in his young voice.

"Father, Mother, Uncle, and all clansmen!

Yun Ming swears here today!

I will definitely make the Clear Sky Sect pay the price for their betrayal years ago.

I will also settle the grievances between the Breaking Clan and Spirit Hall.

And give the clansmen an explanation!

From the highest heavens to the eighteen Hell below!

This oath!

Will not end until death! Never rest!!!"

Yun Ming's attitude toward Spirit Hall was somewhat vague; he felt a little lost because he currently knew too little about the events of that year. The information Yun Ming had was insufficient for him to make a final decision.

Objectively speaking, Spirit Hall did kill many members of the Breaking Clan back then, but the Breaking Clan also killed many of Spirit Hall's people! The conflict between the two sides was primarily due to differing stances.

Since the news of the Breaking Clan withdrawing from the Clear Sky Sect was announced across the Continent, Spirit Hall had not bothered the Breaking Clan again in recent years. This was a messy ledger, and given the Breaking Clan's current situation, they could not afford to get involved again.

From the standpoint of justice and righteousness, although Yun Ming disliked Spirit Hall, he still acknowledged its contributions and importance to the Spirit Master's world over the years. Yun Ming could not overturn the entire Spirit Hall just for the sake of revenge.

Regarding personal hatred, Yun Ming only knew his parents died because of that incident, but he didn't know who the target of his revenge should be. Whether it was Bibi Dong or a specific individual, and whether that person was alive or dead, Yun Ming did not know.

Yang Wudi and the other members of the Breaking Clan inside the ancestral hall were stunned by Yun Ming's words and Aura. They felt a World-shaking, invincible Aura erupt from Yun Ming, causing a deep, Soul-level tremor that was even more profound than when Yang Wudi had previously leaked his Killing Intent.

This made Yang Wudi and the few remaining elders of the Clan feel dizzy it was the second time! This was the second time they had witnessed someone possess such an absolutely invincible Aura. The last time was on the former Sect Master of the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Chen.

In an instant, those elders were so excited that tears filled their eyes, and their bodies trembled slightly. If the occasion hadn't been inappropriate, they would have certainly knelt down and shouted with joy, 'Divine favor!' for the Son of Hope sent to their Breaking Clan!

Yun Ming's decisive tone, firm will, and magnificent Aura instilled trust in everyone, making them believe that this child would certainly be able to fulfill his oath in the future.

Yang Wudi, looking at Yun Ming's face, which closely resembled his daughter's, felt joy mixed with tears. He rejoiced in the innate disposition of a powerful expert emanating from Yun Ming, rejoiced that his daughter and son-in-law had such a good son, that he had such a good Grandfather, and rejoiced that he had not failed his daughter's dying wish to raise her son into a man. However, after the joy subsided, Yang Wudi understood the intention behind Yun Ming's actions, and a wave of worry washed over him.
