# Chapter 3: Now I Can Take on the Elementary School Student List!
"That brat actually doesn't want to go to the Ninja Academy?"
"His aptitude should be quite good. Why not hand him over to me for training?"
Danzo, at the Root, had only managed to insert one person among the ANBU monitoring the two brothers.
Sarutobi Hiruzen was quite wary of him, especially regarding such sensitive matters.
He let Danzo cause trouble outside but never restricted him, allowing him to do as he pleased.
Danzo knew that if he lost his value, the man before him would not hesitate to abandon him and pin everything on him.
However, Danzo also accepted this fact—sacrificing himself for Konoha!
Under the light, there must always be darkness. If darkness was indispensable, then let him manage that darkness.
"Enough, Minato and Kushina already gave everything for the village."
"Let one child become a Jinchuriki. Don't force the other child to do anything."
Sarutobi Hiruzen shook his head, rejecting Danzo's request.
But in truth, he was unwilling to hand Mizuki over to Danzo.
He knew that if Mizuki fell into Danzo's hands, he would definitely become a killing machine!
Most importantly, Danzo would certainly use Mizuki to threaten Naruto.
Mizuki had to remain under his control. Since the boy didn't want to become a ninja, he would just keep having ANBU monitor him.
The Jinchuriki was an extremely important piece. He wouldn't allow Danzo to get his hands on it.
"Alright then."
Danzo didn't say much more.
He naturally saw that Sarutobi Hiruzen had this intention and was guarding against him.
But he didn't care, because he truly intended to replace Hiruzen and become the new Hokage!
However, behind the scenes, if he wanted to make moves, Sarutobi Hiruzen couldn't control him easily.
The Root belonged entirely to him. He controlled these people with sealing techniques. Even Hiruzen couldn't extract information from their mouths. They were completely his devoted death warriors.
"That child is a bit like Minato!"
After Danzo left, Sarutobi Hiruzen puffed on his pipe, his expression somewhat bitter.
He was naturally satisfied with Minato, that super manager. Minato could be in the forefront while he stayed behind the scenes.
All the difficult work was handled by Minato, while he only needed to reap the benefits without bearing such heavy pressure.
At the same time, Minato could inspire civilians to work hard, letting them drop their guard and serve Konoha diligently.
But such an excellent candidate had died!
He himself was unwilling to do that job, and Orochimaru had defected.
He was somewhat reluctant to give it to Tsunade.
Now he could only continue shouldering the burden.
Moreover, he saw in Mizuki that intelligent shadow of Minato.
It was a pity that this child didn't want to become a ninja. He wouldn't force it too much either, because who knew how old he would be by the time Mizuki matured. He was already sixty-five now.
"I'll give him Minato's compensation and won't force that child to do anything. Just live well in the village."
Sarutobi Hiruzen considered himself quite magnanimous.
He gave up exploiting this child, only using him as insurance to control Naruto.
Danzo had spread word about the Nine-Tails monster, making the villagers hostile toward the Naruto brothers. They could only depend on each other.
The only trust they could gain was from each other!

Mizuki completed daily tasks, which were basically training exercises.
Mainly Magic Power manipulation.
The effects were obvious. His strength had increased tenfold, yet he hadn't broken his chopsticks.
"The Ninja Academy?"
Mizuki watched Naruto walk into the school and sneered.
Just now, Iruka had tried to get him to study as well, but Mizuki found an excuse to get out of it.
He had no time to waste in such a place.
Now that he possessed a certain level of strength, he could finally act a bit more boldly.
Daily tasks gave few points—a dozen or even just a few.
Mainly, he farmed them from his tool-person brother.
Task types were divided into combat tasks, growth tasks, and daily tasks.
Combat tasks involved defeating named ninjas from the plot and earning points equivalent to their strength and fame.
Additionally, Genin were worth 50 points each, Chunin 200 points, and Jonin 1000 points.
Growth tasks could only be done after establishing a faction.
Faction citizens—each citizen would provide 50 points. Recruiting named characters from the plot could earn extra points.
King's Territory—owning territory would provide annual points based on the population within.
Growth tasks couldn't be done now. He couldn't take down Konoha either.
So, he farmed his brother.
Two hundred points per session!
The same points as a Chunin, but from a child's strength.
During this time, he also tried Ino and Sakura.
Both girls were attracted by his beauty, so when he proposed a sparring match, they didn't refuse. Mizuki easily knocked them down.
But they only gave 20 points.
Mizuki discovered that after winning, they would bully Naruto. So, forget it. He gave up farming points from them. Farming his brother was more profitable.
However, each person could only be farmed once a week. Two hundred points per session.
So gathering enough points took quite a bit of time.
"Phew, the Konoha 12 are all studying at this school now. Finding them is convenient. I can't very well storm into their clan compounds. Now I can just block them after school. After all, I'm a delinquent youth who doesn't attend school!"
Uzumaki Mizuki said with some excitement.
His behavior was somewhat questionable. After all, counting both lives, he was over thirty years old.
Blocking seven-year-old kids—first-grade elementary school students at that—felt a bit... complicated emotionally.
If it were the twelve-year-old Konoha 12, middle school age, he might not dare take this job.
Too dangerous!
One wrong move and he might be done for first.
Elementary school student jobs were easy to handle!
