The door opens.
"Well, if it isn't Raikou's other half" the man says, chuckling as he lifts his knees from the prayer mat. His eyes switch from the shrine to the boy.
"Merely a child. What could he ever do to me" the man thought, smirking.
Kai's tongue clicks, almost as if he read the man's thoughts. "I'm not just Raikou's other half you bastard. I'm his brother. Twin brother and the name.."
The boy points a finger to his foe.
"Is Kai".
Kai opens his hand a purple mist appearing, slowly forming into a blade. A blade of mana.
"And embed them words into your lousy head. Once you're in hell".
The boy clenches his blade ready to pounce on his prey until he freezes. "What the"? he thought, watching the old man laugh like a dying witch.
"You? Kill me? That's ludicrous a child could never kill me," the man laughed, tilting his neck. Kai's eyes narrowed as the man mockingly grins.
"Especially... if the man raised the-
His words quickly turned into a breath of struggle, as the boy's hands gripped his throat.
"Never say you raised me," Kai mutters, his eyes stuck to the panting man, lifting him up.
"You raised Raikou. I raised myself with something greater inside me".
Blood spilt as Kai tensed his right arm slashing the man's throat. Before the man could even speak, Kai slammed his back to the floor. Kai watched motionlessly as the man screamed in pain.
"First time I heard you scream old man" Kai said, standing up as the man pants. "And for some reason I just want to hear more".
Kai lifted his feet, stepping on the man's hand repeatedly. His elder screamed again. He screamed..
