The old soldier said:

"From now on, this place belongs to you."

Hector nodded and glanced at the shabby tent the old soldier had given him. Indeed, it couldn't be helped.

Hector sighed and tossed himself onto the ragged rags, taking a nap before the sun rose.

Just like that, six hours passed. Hector woke up and began doing push-ups—

100 times.

Because he woke up very early, no one in the stronghold was around to see him. Well, it made sense.

3:30 a.m. while usually, the soldiers here only woke up at 5 a.m.

He let out a relaxed breath and glanced at the rising sun. Each bead of sweat rolling along his muscular lines could make any girl fall in love—but unlucky for him, girls like that didn't appear here.

He slowly approached the water barrier to wash up, yet he frowned when he saw a black-haired girl washing her face at another water barrier.

(Violet?... Yeah, it's her.)

He had already watched her performance in the fighting yard.
