Chapter 1 - chapter 1

In the heart of a thriving city, Sarah found herself living a life that sparkled from the outside but felt dampened from within.

Her marriage, once a thrilling adventure, had transformed into a monotonous routine. Her husband, Alex, was consumed by his career, often missing dinners and weekend plans. "Hey, Sarah, Sorry I'm late again work was crazy." Sarah forcing to smile, "It's okay, I made your favourite spaghetti for dinner. "

She sat on the couch one night wearing a red lingerie hoping that it would help capture his attention. Alex enters with a stack of papers. "Hey come let me show you how much I missed you," says Sarah pulling Alex with his jacket. "Sorry, I have to work on this proposal, big deal for the company." Alex heading to the study room. Sarah hurt, "Alex can we at least talk?" Alex sighing, "not now okay? I really need to focus." The emotional distance grew, and Sarah began to crave excitement and passion again

Sarah stood at the edge of the elegant gala, her dress shimmering under the golden lights of the chandelier. The event buzzed with laughter and clinking glasses, yet she felt a disconnect from it all, as if watching through a glass wall. She was determined to enjoy her newfound freedom, but something was missing.

As she sipped her sparkling water, her gaze fell upon him-Jake, an architect known for his creativity and charisma. He was surrounded by colleagues, laughter echoing around him as he effortlessly captured the attention of those nearby.

But it was his smile that drew her in warm, inviting, and captivating.

Tall, with an infectious smile, he swept her off her feet with captivating conversation and shared laughter. It was as if the weight of her lonely marriage lifted for those few hours.
