Chapter 96 - Might be spie

And we did, we reached it before night fell. It was evening when the town came in and we took a moment to take it in front atop the small hill we were standing on

The town spread before us in massa of red brick buildings and black roofs. There were no elaborate buildings in sight; everything looked small and tight.

Cormac sighed. "I hope we don't take too long here."

It was almost night when we reached the gate and we were waved in without any issues. Once inside, Cormac changed, not physically, but the aura of danger that clung to him before doubled.

"The town is divided into different blocks and controlled by different gang leaders. There are four blocks and one that serves as a neutral block. That's where we're headed."

I wrinkled my nose. The streets stunk and not only from beggars that lined it but dead bodies! Bodies are as common as refuse, and the smell alone makes eyes water, but the people here must be used to it.
