Chapter 45 - Bullshit.

[Avatar (lvl 1) has been activated.]

I didn't really understand why I used this skill the moment I opened and saw it in the attribute window, but all I could guess as the reason was, I remembered that the creation of an avatar needs memories.

Just as an exact clone of myself appeared in front of me, I also felt like I had forgotten something. I had forgotten what had happened during the time I was inside the eternal nightmare.

All I could remember was the things before and after I entered the eternal nightmare. As I looked at the avatar in front of me, who looked exactly like me, standing in daze.

I didn't really know what happened during the time in eternal nightmare, but I knew that it wasn't, and was bad enough for me to make an avatar using that memory the moment I saw it, just so that I could forget the memory.

I took out my sword in order to kill, or should I say destroy avatar. Just as I attacked it, it somehow blocked my attack.

As I tried to attack again, the same happened. The only meaning is that he had gotten enough memory to start forming consciousness. Which only made me curious as to just how much time I was inside it.

Not just that, looking at it, it also possessed strength nearly comparable to me. 'But that doesn't mean he can use coins, can he?'

When I saw my surroundings, all I could see was destruction, countless corpses of both monsters, humans, and nothing else. The sky was also dark red and covered with dark clouds in many parts.

Which bringed me to a conclusion. The ninth scenario of the black castle had already started. And that also meant, the scenario's stat limit had been increased.

[Strength (lvl 70) > Strength (lvl 90).]

[Constitution (lvl 70) > Constitution (lvl 90).]

[Agility (lvl 70) > Agility (lvl 90).]

[Mana (lvl 70) > Mana (lvl 90).]

[You have used 76,000 coins.]

As I forced his sword out of his hand and broke them, he still looked like he didn't really understand what was going on, but was still trying to be alive anyway.

After that, what could I do? I simply severed his head off. But even after that, it didn't disappear, which made me remember that their head had to be destroyed, so I did just that.

With the body of the avatar, the items that had been replicated had also disappeared. It was kind of a weird feeling to kill someone who looked exactly like me, and also a shame that the items disappeared with this guy.

As I looked around myself, I realized whom I was with. The wanderers. Specifically the ones under Lee Sookyung. And for some reason, she was also there, watching what I was doing.

I walked up to her asking. "Well, for how many days I was being babysitted by you guys?"

"Hmm.. After Nirvana died, it would be five days." She answered, looking a bit confused.

[50,000 coins have been transferred.]

I gave her the coins out anyway, because I didn't like being in debt. Since both her and her group were looking after me for five days, I gave exactly fifty thousand coins. Ten thousand for each day.

When I was about to awkwardly walk away, but still trying to act tough anyway, Lee Sookyung called me out and asked something.

"Did you get the author attribute somehow?" She looked pretty serious.

"... Yes… I got that literally as I woke up."

Without asking me anything anymore, she and her group started walking away. When I asked her where they were going, she said that they were heading to the second floor.

She even added an extra line saying that if I was still passed out, I would have been taken by her, but didn't do it now, since, according to her, I would go my own way anyway. Which she really got right.

As I walked away by myself from the entrance of the black castle, looking at the scenario window.

[Main scenario 9: Demon's proof.]

[Difficulty: A++.]

[Description: Kill demons and collect nine demon's proof and then place them on the altar of the second floor.]

[Time limit: 25 days.]

[Reward: 50,000 coins.]

[Penalty for failure: None.]

The main thing that surprised me was that there was no penalty for failure for the scenario, which was really fishy. But at the same time, the good thing was that I would get the same amount of coins back, which I lost.

As I was walking away, trying to collect the demon's proof. The main thing bugging me while looking at my attribute window was–

[You will get that after you become a constellation. You see, there is always a change in plans.]

Just as this message came in, I became extremely perplexed. As I looked around myself, specifically looking for any dokkaebis or the presence of a constellation. Though, that was pretty much useless, since they are never directly present.

After finishing looking out, I called out. "... Father, is it you?" And to my question, I got no answer.

The thing that was really bugging me was the absence of the skill that was supposed to come as I got the author attribute. But it didn't appear. A one time skill that could change anything with certain clauses. Which was the very reason the fanfic was called Omniscient reader's viewpoint (Narrative change).

Looking at the message that came from obviously none other than father. The bullshit assed fucking nonsense character that came from my pure edgelord delusion.

The same motherfucker who is supposed to be stronger than fiction and outside it. Just because I made him like that. I tried to make him strong to the point that he basically can't have anyone stronger, or as strong as him except void, the dimension he is in. Although, it's a bit of an understatement to call it a mere dimension.

But all that bullshit is not the main thing. Him telling me this meant that… actually, I don't even have any idea what is going on.

'I wonder if this is being written as a chapter. If so, I have a gut feeling that the real me is writing it during a buffering and is the reason everything is feeling weird, fast, and too sudden.'
