Chapter 4 - chapter 4

My grandmother, a loving woman known for her hearty laughter and wise stories, passed away after being sick for a long time, she died from a heart attack. She had lived a full life, and her home was filled with sweet memories that echoed the love she had given me since birth.

In the weeks leading up to her death, I spent so much time with her as if I knew this was the last days of us, we did most of the things that we love, going to the garden for a picnic and listening to her stories of childhood, love, and loss.

She often spoke of her past

experiences, dreams and the lessons learned along the way.

The bond we shared was a source of strength and comfort, one that shaped who l was becoming. Our time together was a testament to resilience and love, a foundation that I would carry with me throughout my life.

However, there was one conversation that took my breath away for a second, as it changed how I see life and it'll forever be in my heart I want to keep in my memory of her. "We can't change the hands of time, my dear," she said, her eyes gazing out straight into the clouds as if she could see the reflection of her past reflected in those stormy looking clouds. "What we can do is to cherish every moment we have and learn from the past."
