Chapter 8 - Chapter 8

The Battle Beneath the Titan's Heart.

The armies met beneath the *collapsed heart chamber* of the Titan — a red star orbiting within, slowly burning away its own light. Here stood the *Dark King's Throne* — a black monolith carved from entropy, seated at the center of death and silence.

And atop it waited a figure.

The Dark King himself.

*He stood when Omary arrived.*

The dark king was *tall beyond scale*, alien beyond comprehension, a void-wrapped giant whose body distorted space itself. His movements tore through gravity like parchment. He did not speak. He did not need to.

He attacked.

Omary met him.

Their first clash shattered the inner walls of the Titan's heart. Entire rivers of red plasma reversed. Time fractured briefly. The System barely kept Omary grounded in this reality.

*[Warning: External Pressure Exceeding Threshold. Adaptive Mode Engaged.]*

Omary screamed as his body evolved again, white-blue runes burning across his skin. Mana, Qi, and Cosmic Energy erupted from him. His punch landed square against the giant's chest — a blow capable of shattering a planet, but the being merely stumbled.

Then struck back.

The dark king's palm strike sent Omary through five bio-mountain ranges of the Titan's ribcage. He rose, bleeding and smiling.

"Finally," he muttered, "someone who can break me."

They clashed again.

***

*All around them, chaos reigned.*

Omary's coalition army waged war with the *Dark King's legions* — shadow-creatures made from corrupted Titan cells, psychic parasites, and soul-bound reapers.

Neila led a strike unit through the enemy's aerial division, her blade slicing through demonic wings.

Excap held the line with the Krokoa, forming a living shield wall of mana-charged carapace.

Screams. Explosions. Light and silence.

And through it all — *fate twisted*.

***

*High above, watching from the invisible strands of destiny, sat Ashur-ll'Zhara.*

He did not interfere. But his eyes narrowed. Watching a knot in the threads of causality.

"This dark king..." he whispered. He felt like he overlooked something but still, he continue watching this war.

He didn't move. But *threads* extended from him across infinite distances — subtly *protecting Neila*, *preserving Excap*, *diverting death* from striking too soon.

Yet he did not aid Omary.

That part of the fate... was still his to decide.

And as Omary and the dark king collided once more, a shockwave raced through the Titan's corpse — strong enough that even the stars around its dead bones flickered.

Ashur-ll'Zhara decided to peer into the fate of this dark king. To watch his origin and his drive and hence he acted.

The moment Ashur-ll'Zhara peered into the tangled strands of fate of the dark king, he saw it — a convergence too dangerous to be allowed to unfold.

Omary's soul burned bright, his system awakening to a level it wasn't ready for, and the being he fought — the dark king — held within it something not born of this world, nor any world. The fate surrounding that being was layered with paradoxes and endless death cycles.

So Ashur acted.

With a breath, he invoked his paternal birthright — the *Authority of Time*, inherited from the Primordial Elder God of Time himself. The infinite universe within the fallen Titan's body shuddered. Suns halted mid-explosion, galaxies stood still like frozen rivers, and war ceased in perfect stillness. The whole infinite universe froze in time.

Even beings who had long transcended linear time — Omary and the The dark king— slowed into suspended motion.

Ashur appeared before them, his eyes glowing with the tapestry of all fate, his presence silent but undeniable.

He walked calmly toward the towering, alien entity The dark king. And yet, behind the stillness, Ashur sensed... memory.

A presence trapped within.

He raised his hand and touched the being's forehead.
