As Derrick listened to the words of the system the colour on his face drained .He had just learned the reason for why his son ended up becoming a fire breathing monster in human skin.Derrick was starting to have nightmares already and he began contemplating a way to get rid of the system.One of the ideas he came up with was to seek aid from the Guardian that had dealt with his son.As if Derrick's mind was an open book the system's monotomic voice rang out once more in his mind

"Status huh ,10 sanity points that's too low for comfort,I can't afford to lose a single one otherwise who knows what the next penalty for failing the next mission might be.Let me take a look at this other attributes, strength probably means how much force I can apply, agility I guess is referring to how fast I can move and intelligence must have something to do with mana I guess , but I never had any talent with mana to begin with ,must be because of the system's involvement that I even have that one digit in intelligence because I'm supposed to be inept in terms of mana manipulation."
Derrick kept on fiddling with the system try to see if he didn't miss anything and after confirming that he understood what was before him ,he decided to once again focus on the immediate threat , "10 goblins within 3 days, the difficulty in this mission lies not in the number of goblins but in the time frame I was allocated, although goblins can be found in the nearby forest north of the Village, but trying to prey on lone goblins will take a week a list since this goblins usually stay holed up within their settlements and one settlement has 30 goblins at the very least not to mention a goblin chief and if I am unlucky I might even encounter a goblin shaman, that scenario will truly spell my demise." As Derrick continued to brainstorm a way to accomplish his mission he couldn't help but think of his son's rival, Layla hoping that she did not get infected by the system as well ,but on second thought he concluded that it was impossible for the system to infect more than one person at a time because otherwise the world have long ago descended into madness.
Shortly after he came up with a plan to camp out in the Forest for the next 2 days and look for opportunities to to kill those goblins. Although the plan had several holes in it Derrick knew that even a bad plan is at the very least still a plan without overthinking anymore on the issue he went to gather the necessary supplies in order to make use of the time he had , for in the Forest not only mere goblins were present for some truly frightening creatures called the Forest home as well. Derrick was not overly worried about this creatures for he didn't plan to go in the heart of the Forest were this overly vicious creatures were located.
