By the time evening arrived, Wish's body was screaming at her to rest. But the villa didn't care about exhaustion.
"Ladies," the host announced as they gathered in the main courtyard. "Tonight's challenge: The intimate massage."
Groans rippled through the crowd.
The host smiled. "Those who maintain their composure will continue. Those who... don't, will be eliminated."
WISH'S MASSAGE
Wish's "couples massage" station turned out to be a private alcove with a massage table, scented oils, and soft music playing from hidden speakers.
Dain was already there, sleeves rolled up, warming oil between his palms.
"On the table," he said gently. "Face down."
"No."
"Wish, it's part of the challenge."
"I don't care."
"You'll be eliminated if you refuse."
Damn it.
Wish climbed onto the table stiffly, lying face down, arms at her sides. Every muscle in her body was tense.
"Relax," Dain murmured.
"No."
He laughed quietly. "I'm going to start now. Tell me if anything is uncomfortable."
