Chapter 65 - Chapter 59

Departure for the Holidays

Keith finished packing the last of his things when he sensed someone standing patiently outside his door.

Rias leaned against the wall, arms folded, smiling.

"Ready?"

Keith nodded. He took her luggage effortlessly and stored both of their trunks inside the portable dimension with a flick of his fingers. Rias had long stopped being surprised by this—it was one of the reasons she trusted Keith so much.

Together, they walked down to the Hogwarts train station.

Chat With Hagrid

Hagrid spotted them immediately.

"Keith! Rias! Headin' home fer the holidays, are yeh?"

Keith chatted with him warmly for a few minutes—about magical creatures, about classes, and about how Hogwarts had been unusually lively this year.

Rias giggled when Hagrid gifted her a giant knitted scarf that reached the floor.

Keith shook the half-giant's hand before they boarded.

The Train Compartment Surprise

The moment they entered the train, Keith found a very unexpected sight.

Inside one compartment were:

Susan Bones Hermione Granger Helena Prince Daphne Greengrass Cassandra Vole Penelope Clearwater Katie Bell Angelina Johnson Nymphadora Tonks

All chatting, bickering, gossiping, reading, or trying to look calm while glancing toward the doorway.

When they saw Keith and Rias—

Every girl stared.

Tonks: "Blimey, did we just gather every girl who likes you in one place?"

Hermione turned red. Cassandra glared. Daphne pretended she wasn't blushing. Angelina and Katie exchanged a "well, this is awkward" look.

Keith just smiled.

He snapped his fingers—

and the entire compartment expanded, doubling in size like an enchanted lounge.

Everyone blinked.

"Now it feels comfortable," Keith said, taking a seat with Rias beside him.

All the girls nodded, pretending they hadn't been sitting cramped.

The train ride was filled with:

Helena shyly offering Keith chocolates Cassandra complaining about Ron's troll lies Daphne glaring at any girl who sat too close Katie & Angelina competing to make Keith laugh Tonks shapeshifting randomly to entertain everyone Hermione trying to study but failing because Keith was there Rias watching them all with a calm, knowing smile

It was lively, chaotic, and somehow perfect.

Arrival at King's Cross

Once the train arrived, things got even busier.

The Parents' Meeting Parade

Keith greeted each family politely.

Daphne & Astoria's Mother — Lady Greengrass

Graceful, noble, elegant.

She looked Keith over and smiled warmly.

"So this is the boy my daughters talk about."

Daphne almost died on the spot.

Cassandra Vole's Mother

A woman with sharp features and intimidating presence.

She eyed Keith up and down.

"…You're stronger than you look."

Cassandra blushed so hard she turned the same color as her scarf.

Hermione's Parents

Both dentists. Both extremely impressed.

"Your posture is excellent," her father said.

"Your skin is perfect—what moisturizer do you use?" her mother asked.

Hermione wanted to jump into the tracks.

Katie's Mother

Warm, loud, full of hugs.

"You're adorable! Katie tells me so much about yo—"

"MUM!" Katie turned crimson.

Angelina's Mother

Tall, athletic, intimidating.

"You're the Keith? Hm. Good build."

Angelina facepalmed.

Tonks' Mother — Andromeda Tonks

Calm, elegant, very observant.

Tonks whispered to Keith, "Mum approves. Good luck surviving."

Amos Diggory

Immediately started bragging.

"My Cedric is a natural-born Quidditch—"

Keith smirked at Cedric. "He's just embarrassed you keep bragging in public."

Cedric turned red. "KEITH!"

Molly Weasley

When she saw Keith, her motherly instinct activated instantly.

"Awwww, look at you! How adorable!"

She grabbed his cheeks and pulled.

Rias laughed.

Keith endured it with a deadpan expression.

Ron, behind her, went pale remembering Keith's smile incident.

Return to Runcandel Mansion

After finishing his greetings and surviving the affectionate attacks from everyone's parents, Keith and Rias finally headed out.

They stepped through a portal leading straight to the Runcandel Mansion—

grand, imposing, ancient… and home.

As the gates opened, Rias glanced at Keith.

"Ready for a real Christmas?"

Keith smiled softly.

"Always."
