Chapter 14 - [14]: Could It Be… the Legendary Super Saiyan?

Inside the Gravity Room,

After mastering the Humanoid Great Ape power, Gohan's mind had grown stronger, his spirit awakened from that state of sudden enlightenment.

He opened his eyes to see Piccolo standing before him.

"You felt it too, didn't you, Gohan?"

Piccolo, now without his cape, still radiated a sharp, unmistakable battle intent.

"Yes, they've finally arrived!"

A spark of excitement glimmered in Gohan's eyes.

"Who's here?"

Raditz dragged his exhausted body across the floor. Hearing the conversation, his eyes narrowed in thought.

Having served as their daily sparring partner, he had more or less learned to control his ki, but he was still unaccustomed to the extreme gravity and lacked the energy for anything else.

Yet this did not dampen his anticipation for the salvation that was about to arrive.

He had endured countless humiliations on Earth just to await his two comrades.

At that moment—

If he could hold out—

He would return to the team, sweep across the universe, and once again revel in the thrill of battle.

He would bring his big nephew along; however, that green-skinned Earthling would be in for a harsh lesson!

"Your comrades have arrived."

Piccolo saw through Raditz's thoughts immediately and sneered, "If you want to take them away, be my guest."

Though he spoke lightly, his ki began to flare.

Having been beaten by Piccolo multiple times, Raditz sensed the underlying warning: acknowledging this might result in another severe beating.

"Nonsense! My nephew and my brother are on Earth! What else would I be thinking?"

Survival instinct compelled the upper-class warrior to speak.

"You better mean it."

Piccolo snorted, shutting off the gravity acceleration. "Let's fight—let them see the results of our training!"

He knew Raditz would never behave properly.

But since this man was Gohan's uncle, Piccolo did not want to kill him in front of the child.

Besides, Piccolo's confidence was high. If Raditz truly betrayed them, he could handle it.

Gohan glanced at his uncle, helped him to his feet, and said, "Uncle, come with us—let's show them what we've trained for."

Raditz gladly agreed.

Originally, Gohan and Piccolo had intended to let Bulma conduct one final combat test.

But sensing the two ki auras approaching Earth, they quickly dressed and flew toward the battlefield.

Before departing,

Gohan checked his phone.

During breaks in training, he had suggested to Bulma to usher in the smartphone era, creating an app called Lingxin to improve their family's future.

To maintain contact among warriors, he even set up a group chat, adding Krillin, Yamcha, and others with Bulma's help.

Now, with war imminent, he had to act.

Upon opening the chat, he found new messages waiting.

[Anti-Saiyan Chat Group]

[Protect Earth (Krillin): Just received word from Mr. Popo—Saiyans have invaded Earth. Everyone, be on alert!]

[Tenshinhan, Crane School Successor: They've finally arrived. One year of training—it's time to show results. At least hold them off until Goku arrives!]

[West City's Strongest (Yamcha): Everyone fired up! I've trained hard—let's show these aliens our power!]

[Protect Earth (Krillin): Let's get started—but don't be the first to lose, okay?]

Seeing everyone ready, Gohan put the phone back in his pocket.

"They've trained too—but it's useless. This time, I'll personally take down the Saiyans."

Piccolo had seen the messages as well but remained in his demon lord role, so he did not join the chat.

"Alright, I'm going ahead, Uncle Piccolo!"

Gohan already sensed the Saiyan presence. Knowing Nappa would soon raise two fingers, he didn't hesitate.

He shot into the sky and sped toward the battlefield at full throttle.

Piccolo and Raditz followed closely behind…

In a city near West City,

A bald, muscular giant scanned his surroundings with a mocking grin.

He pressed his index and middle fingers together, channeling his energy, preparing to wipe out the area.

The crowd, seeing the strange man point downward, had no idea what was about to happen, whispering to one another.

Boom!

Nappa's fingers aimed skyward as his ki surged, ready to explode.

Suddenly, a blinding energy wave struck.

The immense power tore through Nappa's ki, slamming into his chest and dispersing the energy he had gathered.

Instantly,

The explosion hurled Nappa far away, powerless.

He crashed to the ground outside the city.

A violent detonation echoed in the distance, smoke and flames rising into a mushroom cloud.

It all happened too fast for the citizens to react.

They never realized how close they had come to death.

Even Vegeta, rushing with Nappa, could not remain calm. Though he saw the attacker, he never expected such overwhelming power. Nappa, a noble warrior, could not withstand a single blow.

According to Raditz's earlier report, Earth should not harbor such skilled fighters.

What was happening?

A sense of foreboding gripped him. His eyes locked onto the boy in the purple gi—Gohan.

When he noticed the brown tail behind the child,

Vegeta's eyes widened with sudden realization, though disbelief lingered. "I see—Kakarot's son. But according to Raditz's data, his power level was only 1307. Now this…"

He knew Nappa's strength; a mere 1307 points could not even scratch him.

Yet now, the boy had blasted Nappa far away.

This meant the child's power had surged to an entirely new level.

For a Saiyan at this age, such growth was impossible. Even Saiyans who claimed to be the strongest did not reveal their genius until adulthood.

This lower-class warrior child was only four years old—far too young to achieve such a leap in power!

"Could it be…?"

Vegeta's mind raced, recalling the Saiyan legends. Shocked, he shouted, "The legendary Super Saiyan!?"
