Chapter 3 - What is The Reality

In the previous chapter, we saw that Yash has a dream that terrifies him deeply, after which he rushes to school in a panic.

And now, the story continues…

All day long, Yashraj keeps thinking about that dream— "What exactly was that? What I saw… was it real, or just a trick of my mind?"

Lost in these thoughts, he can't focus properly on his studies.

When school ends, he starts heading home, thinking to himself, "Today is Friday… let me go home via the temple."

He takes the road toward the temple on the opposite side of the school.

Meanwhile, at home, the atmosphere feels strange.

Yash's two sisters are behaving oddly for some reason.

What's most shocking is that in a house where meat had never even been touched,

chicken had been cooked that day— and not only that, his mother and both sisters ate it with great enjoyment.

His mother even stored the leftover half chicken in the refrigerator.

Yash's youngest brother, still very small and unable to understand much,

also feels that something is wrong…

but he can't express it.

When Yash returns from the temple and stands in front of the gate, he tries to calm himself and says, "Forget it… it was all nonsense. Why would my mom ever do something like that?"

He opens the gate and walks inside.

The moment he sees what's in front of him, he freezes—

his mother is deliberately feeding chicken to his little brother.

Yash shouts loudly, "What are you doing?!"

His mother looks at him and replies, "Can't you see? I'm feeding him."

Yash snaps angrily, "Feeding him? What are you even trying to do?

In a house where meat was never even touched, now everyone's eating chicken!"

He pushes the plate away and takes his little brother to the washroom to wash his hands.

When Yash returns from the washroom, he sees his mother calmly eating a chicken leg piece.

Seeing this, Yash shouts again, "Mom, what are you doing?!"

He goes closer, grabs her wrist, and says, "This is wrong, Mom. I'll tell Dad everything. What you're doing is completely wrong."

His mother jerks her hand away and says, "If you want to eat, say so—I'll give you some too.

And if you don't want to eat, say that as well.

But if you interrupt me while I'm eating, there will be no one worse than me."

Yash falls silent and goes to his room.

---

About an hour later, his father returns from work.

Yash immediately comes out of his room and starts telling him everything his mother did.

After a short while, his mother also comes there and asks, "Should I serve dinner?"

His father replies, "Yes, go ahead."

Yash says anxiously, "Dad, but please listen to what I'm saying!"

But his father says, "Son, go and rest. You've probably been studying too much lately, that's why you're thinking like this."

When dinner is ready and his father sees the chicken, he says, "Oh wow! Chicken today!"

Hearing this, the ground seems to slip from under Yash's feet.

Speechless, he goes back to his room.

He can't believe what he just heard.

At night, Yash's youngest brother comes into his room and says, "Brother, can I sleep with you tonight?"

Yash is a little surprised, but without thinking much, he replies, "No, I'm studying right now. Go and sleep with Mom."

But his little brother insists, "Let me sleep here, brother…" Still, Yash pushes him out of the room and shuts the door.

Just then, their mother comes from behind and says to the child, "Oh dear, where are you going? Come here, come to Mommy…" Saying this, she takes him into her room.

On this side, Yash is listening to songs peacefully with his headphones on.

On the other side, his mother keeps saying to his little brother, "Come on, sleep, my child…"

But the little boy is extremely scared.

Half an hour passes— Yash is still listening to music with his headphones on.

Meanwhile, his mother kills his little brother.

Holding the lifeless body close, stroking his forehead, she says, "Oh my child… if you don't listen to your mother, this is what happens…"

After that, her hand transforms into a demonic form. With a single slash, she pulls a soul from hell and inserts it into the child's body.

Tears stream down Yash's face, because he is witnessing all of this with his own eyes.

A little while earlier, he had stepped out of his room to drink water, and that's when he saw everything his mother was doing.

Quietly, he slips out of the house and starts running toward the park.

His breathing is rapid.

Reaching the park, he hides in one spot and keeps muttering in panic, "No… this can't be real.

This is a dream… just a dream…"

Trembling with fear, he falls asleep right there.

At that moment, it is exactly 12 midnight.

At that time, a couple is passing through the park. Their eyes fall directly on Yash.

They go closer and shine a torch. The man realizes, "Oh, this is the boy from the nearby house!"

He tries to wake Yash, but Yash doesn't respond at all.

Finally, he lifts him onto his shoulder and takes him back home.

At night, when Yash's family sees him in that condition, they put on an intense act—as if nothing had happened.

His mother says, "Thank God… our son is back. Who knows what could have happened to him!"

The couple leaves after dropping Yash off, and his mother takes him back to his bedroom and lays him on the bed.

The next morning, Yash wakes up yawning and mutters, "Everything I saw was probably just a dream… I really should see a doctor now."

He acts normal and gets ready for school.

The only problem is—what would he even tell the doctor?

That I see my mother in dreams killing one family member after another?

Lost in these thoughts, he's riding his bicycle when suddenly that same boy appears in front of him and shouts, "Hey, did you sleep well or not?"

Yash doesn't reply.

Then the boy says, "You can't even thank the one who dropped you home last night?"

Yash ignores him and thinks, "So he dropped me home last night?"

He brushes the thought aside and keeps thinking about the doctor, eventually reaching school.

At school, nothing special happens.

The usual routine—classes, then dismissal.

When Yash reaches home, he sees the same scene:

his sisters lost in themselves, his mother the same as ever…

but this time, even his youngest brother has changed.

At an age when kids watch cartoons, he's watching a murder mystery film.

Yash feels extremely uneasy.

As he starts walking toward his room, his eyes fall on his brother's chest.

There is a mark there.

The moment Yash sees it, all his senses come rushing back.

He remembers everything from the previous night—the things he thought were dreams were not dreams at all.

He steps toward his brother, remembering the boy's words: "I dropped you home last night." That means… all of this was real!

Suddenly, Yash lifts his brother's clothes and sees— a large mark on his chest!

Yash remembers—it's the exact same mark his brother got last night!

He stumbles back in terror.

His little brother smiles and says, "What happened, brother?" and starts walking toward him.

From behind, his mother is also approaching and says in a cold voice, "Looks like our secret is about to be exposed…"

Yash screams, "Who are you people?!"

What do Yash's parents really want?

To find out, stay with the story…
