The noisy battlefield fell silent, as a tall figure, completely shrouded in a black robe, stood before Yang Wudi and the others, holding a bloodied man.

Facing Dawn Douluo's Full Strength strike, the black-robed man let out a soft cry, his spirit power erupting around him. Then, he threw a punch, and at the same time, a shocking scene unfolded.

Wherever the punch-light passed, countless sword shadows shattered, and the dazzling golden light rapidly receded. He forcefully blocked Dawn Douluo's original killing blow, yet he only swayed slightly.

Whether it was the Spirit Masters from Spirit Hall or the surviving Spirit Masters of the Four Clans, their eyes were wide with shock at this scene, clearly indicating that this sight had a considerable impact on their worldview.

"How is this possible?"

As someone murmured in disbelief, a clamor spread across the battlefield. Dawn Douluo, as a Level 93 Titled Douluo, unleashed his eighth Spirit Ability, a move that even a Level 95 Titled Douluo wouldn't dare to confront head-on. Wherever his sword light passed, a Spirit Saint would perish.

Yet, before their eyes, this almost unsolvable killing move was casually blocked, and the black-robed man didn't even waver.

The Spirit Masters watching widened their eyes, forgetting to breathe, their hearts filled with disbelief—could there truly be such a terrifying powerhouse in this World?

Level 98? Or the legendary Level 99?

"Who is Your Excellency?"

Having his eighth Spirit Ability effortlessly blocked, Dawn Douluo's shock was even greater than that of the others present. No one understood the power contained within that sword better than he did. Even the two High Priests, Qianjun and Jiang Mo, with their cultivation reaching Level 96, could not have done it so easily.

Who was he? How strong was he? When did such a person appear on the Douluo Continent?

The black-robed man did not answer Dawn Douluo's question. Instead, he threw the blood-soaked Peerless Yang to Yang Wudi.

"Why aren't you leaving?!"

A deep, suppressed voice rang out, startling the bewildered members of the Four Clans.

"Thank you, Senior!"

A group of people expressed their gratitude with bows and then hastily chased after their clansmen, who were breaking through the encirclement.

Seeing the black-robed man's almost dismissive attitude, Dawn Douluo was enraged.

"I don't care who you are, Your Excellency, you are too arrogant!"

Dawn Douluo, as the second-in-command of the Angel Legion, was only beneath the Supreme Pontiff and the seven High Priests in Spirit Hall. Even the Titled Douluo-level Elders treated him with respect. When had he ever been so ignored?

"Seventh Spirit Ability, Holy Angel True Body!"

"Sixth Spirit Ability, Holy Light Judgment!"

"Eighth Spirit Ability, Sky-Splitting Claw!"

Facing such an unfathomable opponent, Devil Bear Douluo, who was beside him, dared not be negligent. His eighth spirit ring flickered, and he attacked simultaneously. A giant palm, large enough to obscure a small mountain, carrying the power to split mountains and rocks, pressed towards the black-robed man.

"Hmph—"

Facing the combined efforts of Dawn Douluo and Devil Bear Douluo, the black-robed man's spirit power surged. He did not retreat but advanced, like an unshakable War God. His body, shrouded in the black robe, emitted a dazzling silver-white glow, and the surrounding air twisted under this oppressive aura.

He pushed his palms out fiercely, without any flashy prelude, only extreme power. One palm directly met Dawn Douluo's Sacred Sword, and the other collided with Devil Bear Douluo's giant bear palm. Instantly, terrifying Qi waves overturned all Spirit Hall Spirit Masters within a hundred-meter radius. Countless people were thrown backward, crashing into rocks or trees, unable even to get up.

"Crack—"

The two sides only stalemated in the air for a few breaths. The golden light on the Angelic Sacred Sword shattered inch by inch, and the giant palm, capable of splitting mountains and rocks, also halted its advance in mid-air.

"Scram!"

The black-robed man let out a roar that exploded like thunder. The silver-white light beneath the black robe suddenly surged, and the originally solid Qi waves instantly transformed into a surging torrent of energy, rushing towards the two.

Dawn Douluo felt a sharp pain in his tiger's mouth, and his Sacred Sword almost slipped from his grasp. Devil Bear Douluo was even more severely struck in the chest by a massive force. Both of them were thrown backward by this power, staggering more than ten steps before barely stabilizing themselves, a trace of blood spilling from their lips.

Before the two could recover, the black-robed man turned without looking back, his figure darting into the distance like ghost.

"Sir!"

"Deputy Commander!"

Seeing this, the Spirit Masters behind them quickly rushed to Dawn Douluo and Devil Bear Douluo's side, helping them up while staring intently in the direction the black-robed man had gone. Several Spirit Masters' eyes hardened, their spirit power flaring, clearly intending to chase and stop him.

"No need," Dawn Douluo, sensing his subordinates' thoughts, raised a hand to interrupt them. His gaze was fixed on the forest where the black-robed man had disappeared, his eyes filled with unwillingness: "Turn around and pursue the Clear Sky Sect."

With that, he disregarded the others and soared towards Heaven Dou City.

Did Dawn Douluo not want to pursue him? He did! But he couldn't. Although the mysterious black-robed man's spirit power was violent, there was no change in his appearance, and he held no artifacts, clearly indicating he hadn't used his Spirit.

In the Spirit Master's world, to defeat an opponent without using one's Spirit, the spirit power gap between the two sides must be at least fifteen levels. At the Titled Douluo level, this gap is even more astonishing.

To repel two Titled Douluo without revealing one's Spirit, even the Level 98 strength-type Peak Douluo, the Second High Priest, would find it difficult. Perhaps Tang Chen, who had been missing for many years, could do it, but that person was clearly not Tang Chen.

Level 98 Peak? Or a Level 99 super Douluo like the High Priest? When did such an existence appear in the Spirit Master's world? A huge doubt, like a dark cloud, lingered in Dawn Douluo's heart.

Such a powerhouse would undoubtedly disrupt the existing power structure of the Douluo Continent again, which would be extremely detrimental to Spirit Hall's upcoming plans.

Dawn Douluo recalled all the strength-type Spirit Masters from the past century in his mind, but he couldn't find anyone who matched.

"Dawn, where do you think the Clear Sky Sect could have gone?"

Devil Bear Douluo caught up and asked Dawn Douluo. The latter had thought of it, and so had he. The silent appearance of at least a Level 98 Peak Douluo on the Douluo Continent was truly perplexing.

At the same time, Gui Mei, Snake Lance, Ci Xue, and the other three Titled Douluo also arrived, turning their gaze to Dawn Douluo.

"The Clear Sky Sect has no retreat, neither above ground nor below. The two Great Empires dare not harbor them, so there's only one place they can go—the Clear Sky Sect's ancestral land."

As an absolute confidant of the Qian family father and son, he naturally knew about the bet between Tang Chen and Qian Daoliu back then.

Now that Qian Daoliu had personally emerged, the entire Douluo Continent had no place for the Clear Sky Sect to stand—except for their ancestral land.

As for that mysterious powerhouse, he needed to report to the High Priest; such an existence was no longer something he could decide on.

"Gui Mei and I are the fastest; we'll go ahead and intercept the Clear Sky Sect. You all bring the others and follow."
