This was my first day in school, the walls glittered in gold the students dropped off in a limo just like my father described, I thought he was bluffing.

Principle: Welcome miss Elena, as you know once you begin your studies here you will not return home until you graduate.
I nodded my head staring at the leg chain on my ankle whenever I felt like going home I could just touch it and focus on my dad.
Principle: Let me introduce you to a student who would guide you round the school, keep your eyes on her at all times unless of course you love getting lost.
I turned around to respond but the principal was already gone, did she disintegrate into thin air.
Liam: Hi..
I turned around and saw a white girl with grasses on her hair, I had this uncontrollable desire to cut it off when she held my hand.
Liam: That's my hair actually, not dirt.
I dropped my hand feeling embarrassed of course that was her hair not creepy at all.
Liam: At this rate we would be late for our first class come with me.
I tripped the moment I tried taking a step forward.
Liam: Get up and walk faster young lady.
I stood and tried to run after her, was she walking in super speed mode.
Looks like we were already late, the eyes of the students fell on me.
Liam just walked casually to her seat like I wasn't right behind her.
Teacher: Are you the new student?.
The teacher asked me and I nodded, I could feel a strange energy coming from his direction but I didn't know what it was.
My gut was always right and right now it's telling me to stay away from him.
Teacher: My names Dr Kieran by the way, and what's your name?. You must be the new student.
Elena: The names Elena.
The teacher nodded and finally let me go to my seat.
The students gaze never left me until I sat behind Liam.
I swore I could hear someone sobbing but saw no one, or was there an invisible kid crying close to me.
Liam: Don't let him distract you, he's so weird no one talks to him. What's worse is he's always crying.
Seriously a kid is always and no one tries to know the reason, why, bunch of idiots I said out loud involuntarily.
Teacher: Something wrong miss Elena, no one says a word when I'm teaching but because you are new I will spare you this once, speak again and you will be in detention.
Liam looked at me like saying I told you so.
Really, after getting me in trouble you don't cry anymore right?, smart kid.
The teacher's cold gaze was locked on me I couldn't tell if he was still mad or if he knew from somewhere.

Liam whispered and I did so immediately.
After a long lecture class was finally over, it was time for long break I kept my gaze on the door when the kid who kept crying materialized.

Simeon: Were you guessing or reading my palm, you were 90percent correct.

I almost forgot about my tour guide, I ran off to catch up with her. Don't want to get lost.
I froze the minute I saw Liam getting bullied by three girls, she wasn't my friend at least not yet but I couldn't just watch and do nothing.
But as I stepped forward she held my arm.
Liam: I would advice you to tread with caution here, that is the principals daughter one wrong move and you get suspended much worse expelled.
I blinked, and held my pink hair into a bun no way was I going to stand by and watch it happen.
The three bullies where busy searching Liam's bag and taking everything inside.
I super sped myself and threw the girl in the middle towards a locker.
Reah: Ahhhh…
Liam: That's enough, you making a scene.
Elena: A scene, I'm not even started yet, I'm gonna punch these girls so bad they'll never pick on anyone again.
Reah: Im going to make you pay for that, tomorrow at the pack you are going to regret messing with me.
Suddenly my eyes glowed, I knew the danger was over but I could still feel the surge of un used power within me and then out of control I hit my hand on the floor.
The school rumbled my eyes still glowing green, the three girls were frightened and pleaded with folded hands.
Reah: Okay, we won't bother you ever again. Not in school, not outside school alright.
Liam poured cold water on my head and shut my eyes with her palm, I fell on her shoulders.

Reah: You need to believe me mom, she is not a normal monster.
Her eyes were glowing have you ever seen a monsters eye glow?.
Principal: I'm very sure you're just making things up to put someone else in trouble again like you always do now leave my office.
The door opened and an angry green haired girl walked right past me and Liam.
Liam: I'm sorry but she's not feeling well I don't think she would be able to attend other classes today.
Principal: Feeling home sick already?, alright then take her to her dorm. This is the key.
Liam transformed into a dragon and carried me on her shoulders.
She smiled as soon as I realized we were going to be roommates.
Liam: How did you do that?.
Elena: Do what?.
Liam: You know what I mean the green eyes.

All I knew was my dad was a wolf, my mom as well.

Liam: It still doesn't make any sense, you see only one kind of creature has those eyes and it's definitely not a wolf.
Elena: If you are going to keep on bad mourning my family then I would have to change my room.
Liam became silent and her eyes fell, silence filled the room.
