Chapter 270 - İki Yüz Yetmiş

"Leonardo!"

Although hundreds of thousands of people on the battlefield didn't know him, the High Architect knew the name of the man sitting on top of the mole quite well.

"Hank, do you think you can harm my friends with the things I invented!"

The master didn't even blink while looking at the crowd of gigantic mechanical devices coming upon him; putting his hand gently on the head of the giant mole underneath him, he whispered calmly.

"Disperse!"

At the same time, a shrill sound covered the mechanical devices that had gone on the offensive like a curtain; first they would slow down, and this would continue until they broke into pieces and were scattered around.

"You, how did you do this!"

"Isn't it very surprising, that the power animal inside me, who designed countless war machines for years, is actually a creature rejecting all my life! The irony that science can never catch is in this job, brat; that surprise result the unknown will bring!"

No matter how angry the High Architect was at the old man with wrinkled hair, he couldn't find a thesis to refute what he said; all mechanical devices on the battlefield were his invention, and now he could neutralize all of them with a power belonging to himself again.

"Don't be too arrogant Leonardo, did you think I couldn't see that what you did has a range? I wonder very much how long you will be able to endure the shots two hundred and fifty thousand mechanical devices under my command will make incessantly!"

Although Hank came up to the border of the one-hundred-meter area where the Druid Liberation Army was hiding behind, he had seen that the range of the Master's power animal's ability couldn't reach the mechanical devices under his own command.

"I wasn't lying when I said you were always like this; you had not a shred of hesitation about stating the obvious. Today your horizon will open considerably too, the youngest high architect in history; although you came here to clean your family's filth, believe me, even I don't know if you will be able to return!"

"I would like to introduce you to my little friend with whom our paths crossed a short time ago; I call him Santi, Raffaello Santi!"

When a small child slowly stuck his head out from behind his simple coarse wool robe, the entire battlefield would fall into silence; his overalls leaving his arms exposed reached up to his knees, but there was something very weird in the child's appearance.

"My little friend is one of the lucky ones who survived the torture house in the outpost of mercenaries; unfortunately, his arms and legs were cut off by some unscrupulous people. Very interesting events occurred when I started working to relieve his distress; I discovered that the little one also has a power animal like mine."

"The materials I brought with me to make prosthetics became his new arms and legs in the blink of an eye; moreover, he could use his new limbs as if he had been living this way since he was born. I am sure it is hard for you to believe me according to your perspective; if you permit, I want everyone to witness the little one's ability!"

When Leonardo finished his speech, the small child jumped from the top of the giant mole with agile movements; first he would scan the hundreds of thousands of mechanical devices turned into scrap with his gaze calmly, and when he finally took action, the eyes of not only enemies but also every member of the Druid Liberation Army had popped out of their sockets.

Thousands of tiny spiders had started shooting out from inside his palms he extended forward; it seemed as if there would be no end to the creatures whose sizes were as big as a normal human's thumb.

If one looked carefully, they could easily see that the spiders had a metallic structure; they resembled a pest swarm going toward the metallic devices turned into scrap.

"Unlike me, my little friend's inner ability is on creation; maybe people thought they finished him by cutting off his limbs, but Raffaello's heart possessed much more than this!"

The man with messy hair watching what happened on the back of the giant mole hadn't refrained from looking into the High Architect's eyes while speaking; he was saying every word as if banging it into his head.

This confidence of Leonardo wasn't in vain; the ability of the child he took under his wings was perfect enough to challenge all rules of logic.

Every mechanical spider coming out of his hands was going to a scrap pile and ensuring it was reshaped; not much later, just a few minutes later, there was a mechanical spider army of two hundred and fifty thousand people against the forces of four civilizations.

"If you think you can use mechanical devices against us, bring it on; the time has come for you to taste your own poison!"

Mechanical devices, which belonged to them half an hour ago and which they brought here from the continent of the Machine Empire located at the other end of the world, were coming upon them at top speed as of now.

"Fire all mechanical devices, let front lines take defense position!"

The wind turning rapidly in reverse had ensured internal distresses appeared early on Dragan's front; their enemies were not only responding to all their attacks without exerting almost any effort but were also inflicting damages that would be considered significant.

The Druid Liberation Army had no choice but to wait; they had started watching the war the mechanical devices they added to their own ranks were waging against their enemies.

"Who would say that that miserable child walking on the edge of death would one day become capable of changing the course of a war of this scale!"

Unlike the others, the master and the small child weren't interested in what happened where they turned their backs; their aim was only to go to the side of the female orc calling out to them with words full of appreciation.

"Although I couldn't see you until today, I can feel you are my savior; thank you very much for not giving up hope on me. I swear that I will offer my service by remaining loyal to you all my life!"

Even if people remaining inside the Druid Settlement didn't know, everyone serving in the thousand-person army was aware of what happened between the little one with metallic limbs and Nafız. While watching him offer his loyalty to the person who managed to save him while he was in an almost hopeless situation by pulling him out from among dead druids, it wasn't possible for them not to be moved.

"Although your service and loyalty are very valuable, you don't need to be bound to me with an oath for this; live your life, do the things you know are right, it will be sufficient for me!"

The female orc was trying not to show it, but the small child's words would ensure the wound standing without closing inside her bled again; Nafız's pain wouldn't subside as she remembered the fate of the last person saying these words.

Exactly at this moment, the entire battlefield was covered with dazzling sparkles; evidently, one of the hidden powers on the enemy front was forced to reveal themselves.

"Thank you, Maria de León!"

When the most authorized person present here on behalf of the Lands of Light had to use a high-grade spell, Dragan, the commander of all armies, spoke in an embarrassed manner.

"There is no need for politeness during war; our enemy is not a handful of miserable people as some claimed, on the contrary, they are smart people who planned many things beforehand!"

Mechanical devices created by Raffaello were a few times faster than their original forms; until the army formed by four civilizations understood what was going on, they had already reached the front lines and started attacking by giving very few losses.

The only remedy for the enemy army, which couldn't use mechanical devices specialized in long-range attacks so that units wouldn't be caught in friendly fire, would be hand-to-hand combat.

When the topic came here, no matter how talented they were, it was nothing out of the ordinary for human warriors to suffer great losses; more importantly, mechanical devices which took the shape of spiders had already reached the enemy mechanical devices, which were their main targets, by performing a breakthrough operation.

The danger of the entire order breaking down approaching the door if they weren't stopped had caused the elegant woman present on the front on behalf of the Lands of Light to make a large-scale attack.

Opposite the target whose numbers reached two hundred and fifty thousand, a magical attack with area features was required; only this wouldn't be enough either, at the same time, one needed to possess perfect control to isolate friendly units from effects.

Maria de León, meeting all requirements literally, seemed to be taking out the pain of paying a great price on Severo, exhibiting reckless movements since the beginning of the war, with her words.
