Chapter 285 - İki Yüz Seksen Beş

While commanders of the Orc Steppes Army showed not the slightest weakness, completely different dynamics had taken action on the battlefield. A thousand druid warriors, who wouldn't even amount to a drop in the ocean in terms of numbers, had started testing their newly attained powers.

"Protect the three-headed creature and those around it!"

"Support Elite Ten members!"

Orcs had equalized the situation and taken the lead due to Alyon's new lineage power level, but the protection druids provided would elevate them to a completely different level.

"Strike my warriors, strike for our dead brothers!"

Çekiçdöven was also among those getting their share from this wind of change; he was hardly restraining himself not to use his lineage power.

"Groom, leave the administration of the army to one of your subordinates. It looks like your wife needs your help!"

The voice ringing in his ears had arrived just in time; the commander, whose eye was constantly on his family, would start advancing like lightning.

"Heart of Massacre!"

Çekiçdöven hadn't wanted the protection of druids due to his war experience and the sword in his hand which was worth a treasure, but now there was a layer formed of dark green energy around him.

"Use your lineage power, commander!"

The owner of the technique was a druid blessed with the leaves of Ainle's soul tree; he had learned that Çekiçdöven had lineage power during the time he received training on the Orc Steppes.

The orc commander wouldn't make his former warrior say his word twice; he would use the lineage power tearing his heart apart by reminding him of his dead father every time.

"Warrior's Rage!"

His wife was almost at the other end of the battlefield; Çekiçdöven would choose the shortest way to reach there. With his majestic sword in his hand and the Heart of Massacre shield combined with lineage power on him, he was advancing by cutting down enemies appearing in front of him.

"Destruction of Light"

Breakaways had accelerated inside the Army of Four Civilizations losing the momentum of the war; seeing this, Maria de León was on the verge of an attack that would affect the entire battlefield.

"Shadow of the King!"

"I guess you perceived my taking things slow as weakness, madam; your opponent is me!"

Bookworm, sensing this intention, would use a technique at least as big as hers; purple clouds were drawing a barrier in front of lights trying to descend to earth.

"Come out, Sacred Hawk!"

The woman possessing impressive beauty shouted by swinging the stone resembling a magic crystal appearing in her hand into the air; the stone trembling as if lending an ear to the call would explode with a violent sound a second later.

Above Maria de León, there was a golden-colored hawk with a sharp beak, whose wingspan reached tens of meters, and sharp claws each the size of an adult orc.

"Enemy is there, tear apart Sacred Hawk!"

"A contracted wild creature; if not for my ancestor's memories, there was no possibility for me to know what it is!"

Ainle was speaking while looking at Nafız right beside him; he was aware that there was no possibility for the female orc not to know this after so many events she experienced.

"A hawk attacking its prey by gliding in the skies; a choice exactly suitable for the arrogance of the Lands of Light!"

Although the duo saw what happened, millions of people fighting on the ground hadn't noticed the giant bird yet until a sharp scream paralyzed them all and nailed them to their places.

"What is this?"

"Must be a trick of the enemy!"

Orcs were aware of their own powers; even if they had a secret trump card, judging by the direction the creature went on the attack, this creature didn't belong to them.

"You are all dead, Maria de León is using her contracted creature!"

Unlike them, Disciples of the Lands of Light were aware of everything; they were experiencing the joy of opening a card that would change the entire war alone.

Surroundings were dust and smoke; Bookworm, having to face the Sacred Hawk big enough to cover the sun with its single wing, was waiting where he was without taking a step.

"Hunting time, King Cobra!"

When words spilled from the scrawny orc's mouth one by one, the phenomenon consisting of purple fog right behind him exploded and dispersed; now there were two golden eyes shining madly in the same place.

Alyon's son had summoned his power animal; a King Cobra at least as big as Maria de León's Sacred Hawk was rushing forward like an arrow.

The new development had carried the violence of the war continuing in the sky to a completely different dimension; helpers of two superpowers had also engaged each other.

"Your student came prepared for everything, but the enemy's animal will have a hereditary advantage!"

While Ainle watched the struggle in the sky like everyone, he was harping on the inequality between the duo's helpers.

"Under normal conditions, I could agree with your words, if I didn't know Bookworm."

Nafız's trust in the orc floating in the sky with golden armor from head to toe was full; if he chose to respond with this move, he must necessarily know something.

"Sacred Hawk, tear that snake apart!"

The beautiful woman was sure that the noble hawk searching for its prey by gliding in the skies would defeat a snake having to advance by crawling along the ground. The contracted creature receiving the order of its master was also increasing its speed gradually; it would make its move toward the neck of its enemy trying to bite itself with its two giant teeth.

"King Cobra, Fog Screen!"

As soon as the giant snake heard Bookworm's words, it opened its mouth to the end and was releasing a fog mass big enough to cover its entire body. Although the approaching hawk would start to rise by reducing its speed after this change, it was in vain; the tip of its wing had already contacted the slowly expanding purple area.

"Sacred Hawk!"

Maria de León screamed with panic when she saw the change occurring on the wing of her contracted creature; she had sensed that the fog they had to pass through wasn't normal.

The purple area created by the King Cobra, which generally injected its poison into the enemy with its teeth, contained heavy poison in the same way. This was the reason for the movement of the Sacred Hawk which had to shed some feathers on its wing.

"Didn't I tell you, Bookworm is a sharp child!"

While their helper animals fought on one side, two enemies were performing attacks incessantly on the other. The duo using one defense and one attack technique for a long time had no intention to stop; they were exhibiting a magnificent play in the epic scene in the sky.

"His son is no less than his father either; look, he is playing with his opponent like a cat plays with a mouse!"

Indeed, the half-orc wasn't spoiling his timid and uneasy attitude opposite Severo getting a little weaker with every blow and was making him run after himself. He hadn't revealed either the specialty or the might of his power; the only thing he did was sinking his enemy who lost his balance slowly into the swamp he set up himself.

"Do you never receive combat training in the place you call a clan, or does your father raise errand boys calling it a fighter clan!"

"Enough!"

Severo shouted with anger when he threw the parchment appearing suddenly in his hand into the air. Then, by taking the tiny grey bead he took out of his mouth between his fingers and crushing it, he would draw some patterns on the piece of paper.

"Even if I have to spend my soul essence, I will finish this job; afterward, I can distill your entire family and cover my loss!"

The eyes of the Number Two of the Black Lilies, whose capillaries in his eyes exploded, were bloodshot. Although no one among orcs knew, Nafız knew very well what the small grey bead shattered just now was.

"He spent 10% of his soul; I wonder what is the thing requiring him to pay such a heavy price!"

Nafız was curious, but she would be able to receive the answer to her question before long; grey smokes coming out of the parchment had started to form human silhouettes slowly around Severo.

"These are supreme warriors whose souls my family captured throughout thousands of years; today they will fight for me!"

While the half-orc watched his opponent calmly, six warriors were completing finding bodies; unlike the previous one million souls, these had been able to return to human form completely.

"So the soul essence was for this! Knowing the orc opposite him could prevent soul attacks, Severo spent his precious resource for his partisans to take flesh and bone."

When Ainle examined the situation in another corner of the battlefield, Nafız had also satisfied her curiosity. The female orc, who couldn't prevent a bad feeling from appearing inside her, would lock her eyes on that point.
