Chapter 301 - Üç Yüz Bir

First, a line formed starting from the ground and extending up to four spans above his head. The lower side of this red-colored line gave a sharp tip, while its upper side was still stable.

"Essence Materialization!"

While the young man at the front of the group took steps backward, the warriors he brought with him were also watching him.

"All rewards have been doubled; whoever kills the cloaked one will become the new count of the Fiefdom!"

The crowd, slightly tense, reignited upon the promises. They started attacking with various kinds of energy they poured onto their weapons.

"If you want a painless death, throw yourselves off the cliff; otherwise, not even a single cell of yours will remain!"

Jashua, rising into the air from where he was, descended among the crowd with the staff-like weapon in his hand. The road was narrow, the number of people was high; the weapon descending at full speed had hit five people at once.

Crushed bones, dislocated limbs, and people groaning in pain remained after the attack. People with blood spurting from everywhere wanted to stand up and make a counterattack, but their bodies would stop moving after two steps.

"Your blood is mine now, die!"

After spinning his weapon once in front of him and taking it behind his back, Jashua extended his free hand towards the five people he battered a moment ago.

At that moment, blood started to gush from the opened wounds; they were leaving their bodies at full speed. Like a shooting star in the black night, they came and formed a cloud above the Count's head.

When all their blood was drawn, their empty shells fell to the ground; they were snow-white like paper. Unlike them, the red cloud-like structure above the head of the young man with the waving cape was almost boiling.

"Thorny Road!"

Spikes the size of an adult human's span began to rain from above Jashua, who pointed at the crowd on the narrow road with his hand.

Not much, within ten seconds, the five-meter-long area in front of him was filled with corpses. When Jashua swung his hand again, a movement started from the dead bodies lying in flesh and blood towards the top of his head.

The crowd had accelerated their backward steps; there were some falling down from the narrow road. Money and title had lost their meaning next to what was happening in front of them.

Almost the same scenes were taking place at the other end of the narrow road; the crowd charging at the strange-looking young man appearing behind them was being shredded like meat entering a grinder.

"Come faster!"

Alis shouted with enthusiasm; he was very comfortable against the enemy influxes that couldn't catch up with the speed of his sword. However, there was an event he couldn't calculate; with the addition of enemies fleeing from Jashua, the crowd in front of him had become uncontrollable.

"Jashua, what are you doing?"

The young man in white clothes shouted forcefully to make his voice heard; he would receive an insolent laugh in return.

"His Excellency Tiny White Rabbit, do you need help?"

While he was speaking, Jashua's entire vision was covered with needles; his body was also stretched like a bow as if he would dash forward with them.

"Time of Death!"

All the needles possessed by the young man lunging forward with his whole body proceeded like a red snake along the narrow road. There was no salvation for the people they stabbed; after a while, the needles leaving no victims in front of them had a new target.

"Are you using a sledgehammer to crush an insect, you idiot!"

Alis, blocking the needles coming incessantly with his two swords, didn't stop talking back in the meantime. The surroundings were groaning with ringing sounds; this noise had dominated the entire area.

"Count Jashua, you can return!"

As soon as he received the order, the young Count stopped the attacks and proceeded towards the front of the large iron gate with calm steps.

"Open the gate!"

While the magnificent gate, almost as tall as three humans and wide enough for ten humans to pass through at the same time, rose with a great noise, thin sounds of bones reached Jashua's ears.

When he looked behind him out of the corner of his eye, he saw that the young man in white clothes was gone, leaving only a small shadow wandering among the corpses.

"Count Jashua!"

"Count Jashua!"

When the crowded people moved towards the side of the young man walking with his proud stance, their eyes got stuck outside the gate; the long narrow road separating the town and the Chateau was covered with corpses.

"Going out is forbidden, the danger has passed. You can rest comfortably!"

Jashua lifted his head and cast a glance at the right rampart; three people standing side by side knew very well what this meant.

"I guess our arrival was like stepping on some people's tails. Look at that, they sent a brat at the Blood Awakening stage at the head of the bandits they hired with money!"

Nafız, transformed into Nora, had taken her bath and pulled her comfortable clothes on; in the dark large hall where giant velvet curtains blocked the moonlight, she was waiting for the boy she transformed.

"Actually, the situation is complicated enough that I couldn't convey it in my messages to you, my lady. The Holy Blood Sect will be disbanded during the Hell Festival at the end of this year. The moment it fails to put a student in the top ten for the third time in a row, its status will be downgraded to a clan and its lands will be given to the clan that will take its place!"

Nafız listened to what was said expressionlessly; her eyes seemed to say continue.

"Our grave started to be dug in a way by moving the last of the festivals held every fifty years to an earlier date due to the hundredth anniversary of the Hell Queen Eyshan's ascension to the throne. As you know, it had taken them a few years to recover from the destruction Mora created and hold the ascension ceremony. With the excuse of the hundredth year, they are in an effort to finish the job they started in those days!"

"We'll talk about the festival and celebration later, tell me a bit about the secret situations of the continent!"

"My lady, as you know, six great sects rule in their own regions but would continue their loyalty to the Hell Royal family. This system ensured independence inside but unity against external threats!"

"In my research, I saw that this system started to collapse since Eyshan ascended to the throne; the Holy Blood Sect, forced to give ninety percent of its resources as blood compensation, started to weaken day by day!"

"As if this wasn't enough, the Royal Family, members of the Holy Fire Sect, distributed the Blood Stones they received to the clans under the Holy Blood Sect, strengthening them and ensuring they rebelled. While everyone else was getting stronger, only the sect we are bound to weakened year by year and was finally dragged into the miserable situation it fell into today!"

Nafız, knowing Mora's actions firsthand, expected these to happen, but she had other questions in her mind.

"How many sects are under Eyshan's influence!"

"Holy Fire, Ice, Soul, and Eye Sects offered their unconditional loyalties; only the Holy Bone Sect remains abstaining!"

"They should have suppressed ours long ago together with four Holy Sects and many clans; there is something strange in this business!"

After understanding the general situation, Nafız declared that they would set off when a month passed; she had topics to be busy with during this period.

"Nanny, tomorrow you will take me to the place where your great lady lived!"

"But my lady?"

"My decision is final, I will take this risk!"

The place where Mora's mother spent her youth was under the protection of a strange area; for years, no matter who tried, they failed to enter inside.

Nafız was very curious about this place; the memories she inherited and what she heard from the surroundings had filled the surroundings of the woman who died at an early age with question marks.

Thus, the night that started fast ended calmly; when morning came and those outside the chateau went up to the walls, they couldn't believe their eyes.

The corpse-filled road they saw, even if out of the corner of their eyes at night, was spotless as if it wasn't that place; so much so that there wasn't even a single drop of blood on the ground.

"Are you full?"

"I hadn't eaten such delicious things for a long time!"

"Bon appétit, my pasha!"

Nafız, seated at the breakfast table, was chatting with the white-browed young man sitting immediately to her right, while on her other side, there was Count Jashua's sullen face.

"What's wrong, Count Effendi, you are quite joyless!"

"My lady, I heard you want to enter the great lady's land; could you reconsider this once more?"

Jashua was more uneasy than joyless; knowing Nafız's character, he knew she wouldn't give up this easily.
