Chapter 321 - Üç Yüz Yirmi Bir

"Maybe there are those among you who don't know, so I will tell the subject from the very beginning!"

The entire square had started listening to the bodyguard; it didn't seem like they would make much noise no matter where he started.

"The Holy Volcano in the center of our continent has erupted six times throughout history, and each time it erupted, it spewed substances affecting only a certain region."

"Although this event created great destruction at first, countless opportunities arose for those who could adapt to the environment in the following time!"

While some people in the crowd nodded their heads indicating they knew this, the majority was impatient to hear more.

"Some destructions happened instantly, just like in the Holy Fire and Holy Ice regions. As for some, they lasted for long years, just like what happened to the Holy Earth Region!"

"One day, ashes spewing from the mouth of the volcano came and settled over the entire region; the region, which was a desert with limited life resources, stopped receiving sun rays. When the people of the region were left alone with ashes sticking to their bodies and hunger, they set out towards the neighboring region!"

Peoples of the regions knew their own disasters but weren't quite aware of what other regions actually experienced.

"Back then, the Holy Bone Region was a small paradise with its green forests, gushing streams, and habitat where a thousand and one animals lived. If they wanted, they could have accommodated the people of both regions comfortably, but they didn't want to. They started not letting people running to their lands with fear for their lives inside the border; the subject intended to be solved by talking at first turned into a physical struggle rapidly!"

It was a touchy subject; the public had already started discussing in whispers.

"Of course, the people of the Holy Bone Region were advantageous; their enemies were fighting far from their homelands and weren't in good condition physically at all. Victory was close, but something totally unexpected happened. The Holy Volcano erupting at long intervals became active once more and this time left a dense fog mass on the Holy Bone Lands.

The fog had a malicious nature; most of the living beings couldn't cope with it. Beings with low tolerance started dying regardless of human, animal, or plant; the situation was drifting towards a great disaster. Meanwhile, the war was continuing at full speed; although both regions became unlivable, people's ambitions hadn't ended!"

The public facing such open truths was rooted to the spot; compared to what they learned through various legends, these were much clearer explanations.

"Resources were scarce, the war was fierce, and people needed to be fed. Exactly at that moment, a point of no return was entered; people started eating the dead bodies of their enemies. Although it is not known who started it first, later both sides didn't hesitate an iota to use this way.

Humans undergoing bodily mutations due to ash and humans changing with the effect of the malicious fog thus started mixing with each other. Every eaten enemy went down to the stomach with great risks; those who died died, those who managed to mutate survived.

Actually, it wouldn't be a lie if I said those who died were saved; those turning completely into bone warriors were lucky compared to those whose flesh rotted and turned into brainless zombies. Mutation wasn't equal for everyone either; it occurred in the form of those turning into invulnerable entities and their lower-level servants."

Small children had started crying; while women were consoling them, men were trying to hide their fears. Although Ekaterina's bodyguard didn't go into fine details much, he hadn't hidden the truths either.

"There were those who could protect their humanity too; despite gaining tremendous features, they were able to protect the physical form their ancestors left them. It was they who both destroyed the Holy Earth Region invaders and imprisoned the remnants of mutation in underground catacombs. Current Holy Bone Sect disciples are the grandchildren of these hero people!"

Tremendous applause rose from the crowd; people tended to take the side of those resembling themselves no matter what.

"If they killed the Holy Earth people, who are the current Holy Spirit Sect disciples?"

When voices decreased, a child's weak voice was heard; he was asking a question everyone forgot. Hearing this, the bodyguard looked in that direction; a second later, the speaking child was coming towards him flying.

The child came and stopped two meters above the guard; although he and the crowd didn't understand how it happened, the little one was suspended in the air.

"Good question brat, since that's the case, it is appropriate for me to tell the answer directly to you!"

When everyone understood that the miracle of this business was in the guard, flashes of admiration exploded in their eyes; a solid mind power was required to fly someone other than oneself.

"When ash rained on their regions, the great majority of people fled to the neighboring continent, but there were some people not leaving their lands too. They learned to live with the ash layer sticking to their bodies. Under the lightless sky, they fought for vital resources that didn't exist anyway, and the strongest ones sustained their lives.

Sometimes they hid underground, sometimes they fought on earth; the lineages of survivors continued reproducing. Time passed, nature started repairing itself; those barren lands turned into wild and fertile forests feeding from ashes. Then the Holy Earth people started multiplying; while returning to their previous forms again, the abilities they gained in that apocalypse time remained as profit to them.

When everything ended, Holy Bone lands that were forests before turned into infertile and cursed terrain, and the Holy Earth region consisting of barren deserts turned into wild forests."

When the story ended, the crowd was dumbfounded; among them were people from the fiefdom public who didn't know this much detail.

Although Ekaterina told her bodyguard to tell briefly and the bodyguard really cut it short, one hour had passed.

Everyone's eyes were on the man in black; meanwhile, Sheikh Atractivo shouted with joy.

"Someone passed the second circle, guess from which Fiefdom!"

Listening to the past could be enjoyable, but what happened in the moment would always be more interesting, and as if proof of this, everyone was turning their direction to where the formation was.

When they turned, they saw someone was looking at them too. This person was none other than the pleasant girl with white skin whose blood-red hair reached down to her waist.

"If the history lesson is finished, I am passing to the third circle!"

Nora spoke towards the beautiful woman sitting on the platform reserved for her, then throwing a harsh look at Sheikh Atractivo, she took her first step into the third circle.

"Young Lady!"

The bodyguard standing next to Ekaterina was tense in the face of this defiant attitude, but unlike him, the beautiful woman was giggling.

"There are very interesting types this year. Look at that, she is calling out everyone including me!"

The laughter of the Holy Blood Sect Sheikh accompanied Ekaterina's giggles; evidently, he liked the attitude of the participant in the trial.

"Second, what kind of thing is this like this; I am seeing such a one for the first time!"

When Atractivo turned to his right with joy, he saw the majestic man thoughtful; just as he was going to ask the reason, the answer came by itself.

"I am seeing for the second time; I had seen the same attitudes and same skill level a hundred years ago too!"

Everyone hearing the speech understood what the Second meant. These states of the young girl reminded of Mora, both the best and most hated disciple of the Holy Blood Sect.

"The arrogant girl finished the history lesson and passed to the third stage; you return to the present day too. Neither is that girl Mora from a hundred years ago nor am I the Holy Blood Sect Sheikh of that time!"

Atractivo, always laughing loosely, wasn't laughing when he finished his words; he had emitted an energy wave thin and painful like a paper cut from his body.

Everyone felt this effect coming from him in their hearts; the handsome man was very serious this time.
