Elio was an average person. Below average, even. He had no redeeming qualities, living alone in a small apartment in the city. He struggled to find money to survive and live his high school life. He was a loner with no friends, and the reason for that was... He believed that there were monsters who had the appearance of humans living amongst them, and those monsters killed humans and ate them.

Unbeknownst to him, on the evening of a full-moon night, his life will change completely, and he will discover something about himself that he never realized before. That secret will make him the target of extremely strong individuals, ones who would do anything to take him.

Even if that meant marrying him.

"Fiona… Fiona?!" Elio called for her again and again with no answer. The girl has fainted from blood loss. "Shit, shit, shit!! Please don't die, Fiona!" 


Looking around him, Elio tried to think of a solution. They were extremely far away from the cabin, and contacting anyone immediately was impossible. It would take them way too long to arrive.


So, he did the best thing he could think of. Taking his shirt off, he wrapped it around Fiona's torso tightly in a hopeless attempt to stop the bleeding. Even though the biting cold assaulted his body immediately, he didn't care or even think for a second.


Shockingly, or perhaps because of Fiona's inhumane healing abilities, the shirt slowed the bleeding down considerably.
