Chapter 100 - Worship Points?

Frieza gestured toward the top of his head with some disdain.

"Too short."

"It's simply too short."

Although the final form was the strongest, most efficient, and most aerodynamic of all of Frieza's forms, this damned height of around 1.6 meters was practically the only blemish on the emperor of the universe's resume.

Think about it.

In future meetings, would he, the dignified cosmic overlord, actually have to look up to speak with Thanos?

Even Apocalypse, who only knew how to act like a shaman, was a good head taller than him.

Does that make sense?

It makes no sense at all.

"While presence is something that can be compensated for through killing, physical height is also a part of one's dignity."

Frieza looked at his right hand. On that hand, the red light of the Reality Stone and the green light of the Time Stone were intertwining.

Since the rules are now written by me, it wouldn't be too much to want to grow a little taller, would it?

"Come, let me evolve into something more perfect."

Buzz—

A gentle yet irresistible power of rules instantly enveloped Frieza's entire body.

Reality was being rewritten. Bones were restructuring, muscles were stretching, and cells were proliferating in perfect proportions.

There was no pain, only a sense of liberation as if genetic locks were being broken.

In the mirror, that petite white figure began to slowly grow taller.

1.7 meters... 1.8 meters... 1.9 meters!

The light dissipated and a 1.9-meter-tall Frieza appeared in the mirror.

Slender and upright.

"Hmm..."

Frieza turned around, admiring this new body.

"Much more pleasing to the eye than before."

"But..."

Thanos's broad shoulders and Apocalypse's door-like frame surfaced in his mind.

"It's still missing something. That sense of oppression, the kind that makes ants feel as small as dust with just one look, it's not enough."

As a ruler, one must look down upon everything.

"Add a bit more."

Frieza snapped his fingers.

Buzz!

The light flashed again. This time, the growth stopped at exactly two meters.

This was a subtle number. It wouldn't be bloated and clumsy like the Hulk, nor would it be thin and long like a bamboo pole.

The Frieza of now, stood at two meters tall. His muscular lines were stretched to even greater perfection. His originally slightly rounded head now looked colder and more majestic. That thick white tail flicked gently behind him, each crack against the air letting out a heart-pounding boom.

This is what a god should look like!

This is the physique the emperor of the universe should have!

"Oh-ho-ho-ho..."

Frieza looked at the perfect creature in the mirror and couldn't help but let out an intoxicated laugh.

"Perfect!"

"This is simply a work of art!"

"From today on, this shall be my ultimate base state!"

He turned around, no longer looking at the mirror. Because he knew that his current self was impeccable from any angle.

"Alright, now that the image project is settled, it's time to see how my back garden is being managed by those fellows."

Swoosh!

His figure instantly vanished from the spot.

In the next second, he had already appeared ten thousand meters in the air, piercing through the clouds and floating in the stratosphere.

Those crimson eyes, enhanced by the Infinity Stones, were now like an omniscient satellite, overlooking the blue planet below.

Frieza's gaze swept over the former New York, now Frieza City.

The streets were wide and clean, without a trace of trash, and not even a fallen leaf could be seen.

All the buildings hung flags printed with the purple 'Frieza' character emblem.

Pedestrians on the streets wore uniformly issued uniforms. Their faces bore that kind of heartfelt, happy smile 'optimized' by Charles.

There were no arguments.

No robberies.

And certainly no more of that damned 'looting.'

Those gang members and addicts who used to roam the streets, were now obediently tightening screws in factories, and doing so more happily than anyone else.

"Praise Lord Frieza! Today is another day full of hope!"

"Thank Lord Frieza for granting us food and work!"

"Long live Lord Frieza!"

Countless voices of praise gathered into a massive surge of psychic energy, echoing over the city.

Frieza shifted his gaze into the distance. The formerly chaotic Middle East had now become a massive solar power plant, providing free clean energy for the entire globe.

Those warlords who once fought tooth and nail over oil were now holding hands and planting trees in the desert.

Even Gotham... no, those slums that originally had extremely high crime rates, had now turned into uniform residential buildings.

There were no police because they weren't needed. Under the monitoring of Charles' Psychic Network, anyone who had a criminal thought, would have their brain automatically correct it to something like 'I want to go help an old lady cross the street' the second before they took action.

"Is this absolute rule?"

Frieza took a deep breath, the air didn't even have that nauseating smell of car exhaust from before.

Fresh and sweet.

That was the taste of power.

"Not bad at all." Frieza nodded with satisfaction.

"Though that old man Charles has trouble with his legs, his brainwashing skills are top-tier."

"And Erik also did quite good, this infrastructure development is decent."

He looked at this planet, which operated like a precision instrument.

This was his Asset No. 001.

A perfect world without strife, without chaos, only obedience and productivity.

In the eyes of some so-called 'freedom fighters,' this might be hell.

But in Frieza's eyes, this was simply heaven.

"This is the order I want."

Frieza opened his arms, his two-meter-tall perfect body casting a massive shadow under the sun.

"No politicians who only know how to bicker, no greedy capitalists."

"Only one voice, one will."

"And that is me, Frieza."

[Ding! Detected that Host's control over the territory has reached Perfect Grade!]

[Fear points are being converted into worship points, which are continuously being transformed into energy!]

Hearing the system's prompt, the smile at the corner of Frieza's lips grew even wider.

"Very good."

"Since this rear base is now stable, I can rest easy and go wander around other territories."

"Let's go check out Planet Frieza 002 first."
