Chapter 14 - Chapter Twelve

As Crythe slowly opened her eyes, her surroundings had drastically changed, and there was no fire and no cave.

The world in front of her looks strange and different, and there are clocks scattered on the floor. As she looks up, a single beam of light comes down from the sky. It looks as if she is trapped in a hole.

"Don't worry," a mysterious voice reaches out. It sounds as if it is coming from above, "This is just a dream."

"Who are you?" Crythe asks as she looks up at the light.

She is obviously stressed out and confused about her situation.

"I'm the fallen God of time, and you are my vessel. If you're ever in danger, let go of your body, and I will take control. With my help, you will be fine."

"Why do you only come to me now?" Crythe asks, not expecting a straightforward answer, but to her surprise, she receives one.

"You are in danger since you're a vessel. Now, there is a chance a fallen angel named Anor will hunt you down. Be careful as if you die, so do I."

Cry wakes up covered in sweat. She's stressed out and confused by the God's words. She does not understand what is going on.

The blizzard from the night before has set, seeing this Crythe decides to venture out, staying on guard, venturing further away from the kingdom she once called home.

Far away from the deep tundra of the North, a heartbeat of the dead starts to beep again. Anor, waking up after a long paraplegic sleep, just like Crythe, become a vessel.

The God inside of him is Decay, the brother of Death and Time. Still lacking strength, Anor attempts to get up but fails.

The weather in the rose kingdom, which was before sunny and dry, thanks to the actions of Anor, has become dark and chaotic. The ruined city has been plunged into a storm of pure chaos.

It's as if hell itself is manifesting around him.
