Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

 BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

I groaned in my sleep as I turned off my alarm. Once my alarm went off, I drifted back to sleep. For a whole 5 seconds because I shot up in my bed as realization hits me like a lightning bolt. I then rushed out of bed and quickly went through my morning routine. I didn't dwell on what I was doing, for today was the day that I was going to win! I made sure that I worked hard on my costume. After all, ScarletFever must show the world what she is made of.

My online friends on Legacy of Soul Tower will be so jealous. Cause they're losers.

I went to my closet and started to dress in my costume. After all it isn't every day that I portray as the current top fantasy waifu of the decade. If you believe in the online polls in the forms that is. Which is exactly where my go to knowledge comes from. I grabbed the pink undershirt and put it on. Followed by the plastic dark blue armor with green outlining the plates. Followed by my black leggings underneath the white skirt. I also had to make sure I bought the blue and white striped panties that went with the character.

I am a professional cosplayer, and every detail must be perfect. Finally, I put on my elf ears, silver wig, and small gold tiara with a single white pearl in the middle of it. Finally, I grabbed the sword Kinslayer. The most important relic that must never fall into evil hands. I placed the sword around my waist. Once secured in place, I looked myself over in my mirror. I smiled brightly to myself. After all this cost me a small fortune from my treasure hoard to buy.

But totally worth it! I look amazing!

With that, I applied the small amount of pink lipstick that is required, and I was done. I ran out of my room and went downstairs. I ran to the kitchen where my mother was currently making breakfast for everyone. Everyone except me, because I had to wake up extra early today, so I already had breakfast.

"Morning mom!"

My mom turned to me and smiled.

"Morning Seeya and my, do you look dashing today."

I beamed at the compliment that my mother gave me.

That means I am going to win this contest!

Of course, my happiness was only but a small moment as I heard a scoff from the table.

"It's a waste of time, Seeya."

I balled my fist in anger and shook it in front of my brother.

"What was that Damyu? You've got some nerve if you think you can battle me!"

"Sis is pretty!"

I hugged my five-year-old sister and started to rub my cheeks against her head.

"Oh, Hiya, aren't you adorable. Yes, you are. So cute." I stopped my hug and pointed a finger at Damyu. "Why can't you be more supportive like Hiya?"

Damyu just scooped up some of his omelet from his plate and chewed on it a bit before answering.

"I'm not supporting whatever weird cult like fiasco you are a part of. Besides, I think it's a waste of time for you to dress up as a fake character that you made up."

I placed my hands on my hips.

"I am dressed as Yuki the Elf Princess from the kingdom of Mytur from the highly popular Heavenly Spire anime series. Right now, they are on the fourth season and already they've killed off an important character!"

Damyu just sighed heavily before he returned to ignoring me. I noticed that he was studying astrophysics, but space wasn't really that interesting to me. Not like medieval Europe with the Vikings and Nords and the Saxons and French and the Germans. The wars that were fought with swords and shields were, to me, the way of life. My thoughts started going towards dragons and knights.

"So, young lady. Where do you think, you are going dressing up like that?"

I flinched when my mom pulled me out of my thoughts of battling against King Arthur. I turned to her, placing my hands behind my back.

"Umm, I was planning on going to the anime convention that's going on this weekend."

I noticed that my mom just sighed as she placed food down in front of my little sister.

"Seeya, you know that I don't like you wasting your money at those places."

"I know mom, but there's a costume contest. And whoever gets first place, gets a vintage poster of the new Star Cruiser: Andromeda tv series. From what I've read this is supposed to be a very solid reboot of the old series. Not only that, but the winner also gets $500 in cash. Plus, a vintage figurine worth $300!"

My mother just placed her right hand on her forehead.

"That may be the case, but unfortunately Seeya, you can't go."

My face dropped as I went up to my mother.

"But why mom? Why can't I go?"

Mom just looked at me with a knowing look on her face.

"Did you forget that because you skipped school two weeks ago, you were grounded for two weeks?"

"But mom I did the math, I was supposed to be ungrounded today."

My mom sent me a glare that sent shivers down my spine.

"Did you also forgot that I added on an extra day, because I caught you using your laptop?"

My face fell. I totally forgot about that. My mother sighed as she placed a hand on my shoulder. Looking up at her I could see my mom's loving smiling face.

"Listen sweetie, I love you and I want you to be happy. I'd love for you to go, but you need to remember that actions have consequences. So, you are still grounded and maybe, just maybe, the whole family could go to one of your conventions next year. Ok?"

I just stared at my mother. My mother had the same fiery red hair as me and my sister. Only her hair went down to her waist, while my hair was just at my midback and was usually in its twin tail fashion. The only difference between us is our eye color. Her green eyes are made out of emeralds, according to my father. She stood at 5 feet 6 inches, so she is slightly taller than me but shorter compared to Damyu, and father. Her smiling face was one thing that everyone in my family feared. Because no one knew if she is telling the truth or not. She was sweet, kind and gentle, how the hell she ended up with my dad I'll never know. I pouted but just nodded slightly and my mom hugged me and kissed me on my forehead.

"There's a good girl."

My mom released me and grabbed her purse.

"Alright, your father and I are going, and we won't be back until late probably around 6, if traffic holds up. Be good. Damyu promise me that you'll watch over your sisters and protect them, OK?"

"I promise."

The sounds of my father's running echoed in the house.

"Alright honey! Let's go and destroy this establishment!"

I watched as my father in his black suit just jumped in the air for no reason. My father has black hair and blue eyes. The eye color that my siblings and I ended up inheriting. He has a slight build but is on the skinnier side. No fat just toned. On the ground he stood at just under 6 feet tall. My father's personality is to make jokes, and not take life seriously at all. Though we play video games together if my father is not busy. You'd never thought that this same man used to be anti-government when he was younger, before meeting mom at some rally.

I heard my mom giggling as she replied.

"Dear, it's just a business meeting with your boss and some of the board members, no need to be so dramatic. Besides, I thought you'd said that you gave up on destroying the establishment?"

My dad just grinned. "Rose, honey, I'll never give up on my dream of world chaos. MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Mom opened the door as she replied.

"We have plenty of chaos at home." My mom turned towards me and with a smile that sent shivers down my spine, said, "Seeya, be good. Bye kids! Love you all!"

I watched as the door to the outside world closed. With that, I was alone with Hiya and Damyu. I went to the window and watched as my parents got into their car, or in dad's case dancing in circles with his arms out, before getting in said car, and backed out of the driveway. I waved as they drove away towards whatever meeting my dad had to attend. After my parents were out of sight, and out of mind, I started smiling mischievously.

Grounded, eh? Not for long. Time to use plan B.

I slowly strut into the kitchen with my hands behind my back. As I walked past Hiya, I patted the top of her head, as I went right up to Damyu. Of course, Damyu spoke before I could say anything.

"The answer is no, Seeya."

My face dropped as I laid my upper body on the table.

"Why? You could totally take me, and we'll be back before mom and dad gets home. If not right after."

Damyu just sighed heavily as he dropped his pen on the table. One of his hands took off his glasses, while the other pinches the bridge of his nose.

"Listen, just where is the location of this anime convention that you are wanting to go to is at?"

"34th Street in Manhattan." I answered nonchalantly as I placed my hands on my hips.

"34TH STREET! ARE YOU MENTAL! DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT'LL TAKE TO DRIVE THERE?!"

I just grinned as I answered.

"Of course, I do. I've calculated that with your driving, it'll take us just five hours to go from our house here in Buffalo to New York."

You aren't the only one who can do math Damyu.

I watched as Damyu just leaned back in his seat with a loud groan. Hiya in her chair did the same thing, as she loves imitating Damyu for some odd reason.

"Come on, Damyu what's the big deal? You can just drive me to the con, and after the Costume Contest we can drive back. We don't even have to pay. I got us two tickets ahead of time."

BANG!

Bang!

Damyu slammed the table with his fist, with Hiya also slamming the table with a softer bang.

"THAT'S NOT THE ISSUE!" Damyu just sighed as he crossed his arms. "Look, I know that you want to go, but mom said that you are grounded. Nothing, and I mean nothing you will say, will make me take you on your stupid trip."

I watched as Damyu got up from his seat with his empty plate in hand. He placed the plate in the sink and turned on the water. While the water was running, he grabbed a sponge and started to clean the plate. Once the plate was wiped off, he then placed the plate inside the dishwasher. He then started to do the rest of the dishes that were in the sink.

Time to act.

I smiled to myself. I lifted Hiya off her seat as she giggled and placed her on the floor. Pushing her forward in encouragement, Hiya ran out of the kitchen to either watch TV or play.

"Oh well," I said sighing to myself standing back up. "I guess I have no choice but to show mom and dad these photos."

Damyu turned and looked at me. He closed the dishwasher, then leaned up against it as he folded his arms.

"What photos?"

I opened his phone.

"This photo."

The photo I was showing my brother was a picture of me. However, I was completely naked in this photo, kneeling on my bed. I was trying very hard, (at the same time not,) to cover myself up. My right hand was covering my pelvic region while my left arm was wrapped around my breast. My eyes were shimmering, with tears threatening to fall down my face. As my face was red in embarrassment. After all, my brother came into my room and "demanded" retribution for something I did. I smirked at the face Damyu was making.

"Y-Y-You…" He stuttered.

"That's not all, Damyu."

I showed him the next photo. It was another nude photo of me, only I was lying on my back. I was blushing very hard and looking to my right. With tears still forming in my eyes, I had my right fist covering my mouth. My lower region was covered by my left hand, but my breast was full on display, as I was trying to "keep" my dignity intact at the same time making no effort to stop him.

"As you can see Damyu, only someone "holding" the camera could take pictures of me like this."

"I didn't take those pictures of you! How the hell did those ended on my phone?! Not only that but how the hell did you get my phone?!"

Damyu was coming towards me, most likely to try and take his phone back. So, I did the only thing to keep the phone on me, and my plan intact. I quickly placed the phone in my breast armor. I then stuck my tongue out and very smugly spoke.

"There, now the only way for you to get your phone back Damyu is to sexually assault your younger sister breasts. As for the photos," I place my hands on my hips as I stood triumphantly in victory. "I took them myself last night while you were asleep."

"THIS IS BLACKMAIL!"

I folded my arms.

"Of course, it is. Now, if you don't want me to show them to mom and dad, and with tears in my eyes saying that you snuck into my room and "blackmailed" me into posing sexually for you, you will take me to the con today."

Damyu just sighed heavily as he rubbed his eyes. I just stared him down with a smile on my face.

"Seeya, what knowledge could I possibly have over you, that'll make you listen to me? Let alone enough for me to blackmail you?"

"Why, the knowledge that I threw the T.V in mom and dad room out of the window on purpose."

I watched as Damyu was processing my information carefully.

"Why would you do that? Also," Damyu pointed a finger towards me. "didn't mom and dad suspect that you were the one that threw it out in the first place?"

"They did, but I manage to get them to believe it was an accident. After all, if they found out I broke it on purpose, you'd think I'd only get grounded for two weeks for skipping school?"

I watched as Damyu just sat down back in the kitchen chair.

"That's still not enough to blackmail you into doing something."

I just sighed.

"I figured, which is why you also "showed" me this video."

Damyu looked confused at me as he responded.

"What video?"

I just smiled and folded my arms across my chest.

"A video of me doing naughty things in my room at night."

Damyu just looked at me in confusion for a few moments. I smirked when I saw the lightbulb go off in his head.

"Y-Y-You don't m-m-mean?"

I just nodded as I answered.

"Why your blackmail video. It's my pleasure video. You "caught" me doing something very naughty and threaten to post it on the internet unless I do exactly as you say. The video is conveniently filmed, in a way that only someone watching from outside of my room, would be able to film it."

I watched as Damyu just sat still flabbergasted at what I just said. I took the time to take his phone out of its hiding place. I could tell that Damyu was trying so hard to come up with something. Anything to get around this blackmail.

"I could play you the video if you want to watch?"

"NOO! I'm not watching that!"

I put Damyu's phone back in its safe place.

"Suit yourself. You'll just have to miss my amazing performance."

I then pointed a finger at my brother.

"I have copies with information that it came from your phone. I could upload them anytime. And I'll send them to your closest friends. The whole world will know that you are siscon and a huge pervert. And I'll even send them to your University President."

I watched as Damyu just groaned loudly as he leaned back in the chair, placing his arm over his eyes. For a few moments he said nothing, except mumbling curses, until four little words came out of his mouth.

"Get in the car."

I jumped up and down triumphantly as I whooped in victory.

"Yes! Alright! I knew you would take me."

I am going to win that contest! I just know it.

"That was fun! Thank you again Damyu for taking me here."

As I put my hair back in my traditional twin tail style. I watched as Damyu just sighed as he begrudgingly muttered "Your welcome," underneath his breath. I puffed out my cheeks as I stared hard at him. Damyu stopped walking as he turned back towards me.

"What?" He asked me.

I folded my arms as I answered him.

"You know, you could at least look like you enjoyed your time at the Con today? I mean when I saw you standing in the crowd at the costume contest. I saw you smile. And besides, I bought you that skull necklace because it looks good on you."

I watched as Damyu just sighed heavily before putting on a smile.

"You know that I don't get this whole world that you love so much. And besides I smiled because I saw how much fun you were having. Even though you lost at your costume contest. Now come on, we gotta get back home."

I looked down dejected. Yeah, I lost the costume contest that I had my sight on. I worked so hard to get Yuki's costume perfect. It was frustrating. I did everything right. My costume was spot on, I sang Yuki'sMelancholy perfectly. Word for word, and I still lost. I must have been lost in my thoughts as I ended up bumping into Damyu. As I was staring at the ground as I walked.

"Damnit Seeya! Watch where you are walking!"

"Sorry." I muttered in apology.

I heard Damyu sigh heavily before he spoke. I then felt a hand rubbing the top of my head. Looking up, I noticed that Damyu was currently rubbing my head in an attempt to cheer me up. Something that he's always done since I can remember whenever I was feeling down. Damyu just sighed as he spoke.

"Seeya, I was going to give this to you when your birthday comes, but I think you should have it now."

I stared intensely at Damyu.

"What is it?" I asked.

Damyu didn't say anything as he handed me a small square gift and an envelope. I grabbed them from his hands as he walked towards the car. Looking at the gift it wasn't at all special. It's a small box, that much I knew. The box was wrapped with cheap wrapping paper with a logo that I don't recognize.

I wonder what inside?

I tore off the wrapping paper and opened the box. My eyes widen as I just stared at the gift. It was a necklace. I then opened the envelope and I gasped at what I saw. I then smiled as tears threaten to leave my eyes, until a car horn pulled me out of my thoughts.

"Come on Seeya, we've got to get going!"

I smiled as I went and placed my costume in the trunk of the car. Once my costume was away, I closed the trunk of the car. I then made sure that the necklace Damyu bought me was perfect as I placed it around my neck. Seeing that it wasn't going anywhere I went back to the passenger side and opened the door. As I got inside the car, I pulled out Damyu's phone. I then handed Damyu back his phone.

"You can delete the pictures."

"What about the backups and video?"

I grinned as I answered.

"There were no backups. And the video I deleted as I was backstage. I only made that video just so it was a guarantee that you would drive me here."

Damyu just sighed and muttered "Of course," under his breath. I giggled to myself as I saw the look on his face. Damyu started the car and started to drive. We got onto the street as I turned my attention to Damyu.

"Damyu."

"Yes?" He replied as he was watching out for traffic.

"Thanks for the necklace. It was very thoughtful. Along with the signed autograph picture of Yuki's English voice actress."

Damyu just smiled as he turned toward me.

"Well, I figured you'd want a little pick-me-up. After all you work so hard only to end up second."

"Yeah! That was bullshit!" I shouted. "That slut only won because she had bigger boobs than I did! I was the perfect height, my costume was spot on, I memorized the lyrics, and I had Yuki's breast size and measurements in the bag. I'm Yuki reincarnate! I'm a 32 C for God's sake!"

"TOO MUCH INFORMATION!"

I just grinned at Damyu who just started to mutter stuff under his breath. I took the time and stared down at the picture and my necklace. The necklace was of a fairy from Heavenly Spire. Though this fairy was a green orb with black beady eyes, and little wings. He's known as a Sprite and for some reason this sprite has a little top hat. He's supposed to bring good luck and happiness to everyone that he comes across. Wither or not Damyu knew that doesn't matter. I clutched the necklace in my hands and just smiled to myself.

"Just so you know," Damyu said catching my attention. "Mom will not be happy when we get home. You know that right?"

"I know, Damyu, I know. But look on the bright side. At least we had fun."

I smiled brightly to my brother. After all nothing could ruin this day for me. After all, I can still see the smile on my brother's face. I leaned back in my seat and closed my eyes.

I know he had fun.

 * * *

I blinked and I noticed that I am in a weird place. Looking around I noticed that I was lying down on my back.

Weird. I thought I was in the car with Damyu.

I got up on my feet and looked around.

Where am I?

I was currently in a dark place. Where? I have no clue. I tried to remember the last thing I did after getting in the car with Damyu, but as hard as I tried, I couldn't remember. But I feel like something important happened.

Why can't I remember anything?

A bright light suddenly flashed causing me to cry out in pain as I covered my eyes.

"AAHHH! MY EYES! WHAT DUMBASS WOULD JUST SHINE A LIGHT IN A DARK PLACE FOR NO DAMN REASON!?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you wouldn't be affected."

Blinking to restore my vision, I noticed that another person had appeared. A young woman, who looked like she was in her early 30's, now stood before me. She has long dark purple hair, with her front bangs in a spiral for some weird reason. Her hair seems to be swaying to an invisible wind blowing.

Must be a fashion statement of some kind.

I thought that to myself as I continued to look over this woman. She has golden eyes that goes quite well with her purple…dress? Is it a dress? And that isn't purple, is it? Magenta? Whatever it is, it's very skintight as I can see all her curves. Curves that are making me so mad. I can tell her breast are huge. Probably G size. After all, if I had curves like that, I probably would have won that stupid costume contest, damn it! And I can tell she isn't even wearing a bra and panties.

Who does she think she is?

After my small ranting, I notice that the woman's mouth was moving. She was saying something, and I wasn't aware of it. So, I decided to listen as she finished her thoughts.

"…have a different life?"

I just stared at her blankly as I sheepishly rubbed the back of my head.

"Uh, sorry, I kinda spaced out there for a minute. Could you repeat what you've just said."

The woman made a sly grin as she stared at me.

"Oooh," she said as she started to provocatively move her arms around her body. "Were you staring lustfully at my body?"

I started to blush as I tried to deny that accusation.

"N-n-n-n-nononono I wasn't!"

The woman pouted as she sighed in disappointment. Placing her hands against her own breasts.

"That's a shame, cause if you were, I would've showed you what's underneath. And maybe something more."

She said that last part while heaving her breast up and down with her hands. I just stood there frozen as my eyes just stared at the moving objects. They were moving and my eyes couldn't look away. Laughter caught my attention as the woman started to howl with laughter.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Your face! HAHAHAHA! Your face is just so hilarious. I'm sorry. Heeheehee! But your just so cute blushing like mad."

Damn, this woman! When I find out just who she is, she's going to regret messing with me!

The woman cleared her throat as her laughter subsided.

"Now then, to do this properly."

I watched as the woman smiled at me as interlocked her fingers in front of her.

"Oh lost, unfortunate soul. One who life was cut drastically short by the cruel hands of FateGremlins."

What?

"Uhhh, "Fate Gremlins?" Just what the hell are you talking about? But most importantly who are you! Where am I? And why can't I remember anything after getting into the car with my brother."

The woman just stared at me for a few moments.

"I have seen thine hardship and…"

"STOP TOYING WITH ME WOMAN!"

I don't know if it was fate destined by God or something, but this woman is driving me bonkers. I gritted my teeth in anger as I fumed angrily at the woman. The woman just sighed as she just looked over to her left. I could see that she was super disappointed. Which just made me much angrier. Eventually, the woman seemed to give up.

"Ok, I get it." She said as she turned her attention back to me. "My name is Sora, the Goddess ofDawn. And you Seeya Later Strawberry, died in a horrible car accident and are now in a place called The Afterlife."

"Finally, some progress. So, your name is Sora and…" I stop talking as I just processed the last part. "Died? Wait! I'm dead?"

Sora just nodded as I stared at her. After a few moments I started laughing. After all, this is all a joke.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh man, this is probably the weirdest dream I've ever had. HAHAHAHAHA! To think that I almost believed you."

I settled down as I looked at Sora.

"So…where am I exactly?"

Sora just sighed, something that I noticed that she does a lot, as she started looking at me with tearful eyes.

"This is the Afterlife. And I was sent by my duties as the Goddess of Dawn to guide one of my lost children through the pits of hell."

I swear everything she says just makes me want to punch her in the face!

Sora must have noticed the look I was giving her, so she stood up straight. What she said next caught me off guard. As her face had a "I'm not joking" look to it.

"You know for someone who loves playing video games, watching fantasy movies, anime, playing Trolls and Treasure, I thought you'd be all down to the whole "guide" thing I was trying. Something that everyone who has gone before you, followed. But then again you are a girl and probably bisexual."

I glare my entire hatred that I had inside me at the so called "Goddess." This person doesn't know anything about my love life.

"Then again, you had no love life. And you have a huge brother-complex that borders on incest."

Like hell I do!

"Though, what you are going through might be a side-effect of your post-death."

I grit my teeth as I clenched my fist together.

"Hey, Sora," I said as I sat down on the ground. "Is there a point to all this? And how the hell do you know so many things about me? Minus the brother-complex incest thing you are poking at! I am a normal person. I may have watched a lot of anime with a female character with that trait. They happen to be my favorite characters in the shows, but that is not me! And for the third time where in God's name am I?"

For the umpteenth time Sora sighed as she walked up five steps and sat down on a huge throne that just materialize out of nowhere. That throne was silver in color, and it looked almost an exact replica of the throne from Crowns of Thorns, swords, axes, and all. Only there was a sun made of gold right above Sora's head and it took the entire top of the throne.

What a waste?

"For the third and final time you are in the Afterlife. You died in a car accident that killed you instantly. Your brother Damyu is alive but unconscious and in critical condition. As he is currently pinned in the car. So far, your parents haven't been alerted, mostly due to the fact that both of your phones were smashed to bits, and no one there recognize you two. Though you both did leave the house under false pretenses, so even if they knew you were gone, considering where you live compared to the anime convention you went to. It'll be a while before your parents finds out about your death."

I sat on the ground flabbergasted as I just stared at the Goddess of Dawn. There's just no way that I died. Though as I am looking around the room that I'm in, I started noticing that there's nothing but black tiles on the ground. And there is a pair of white curtains a few yards behind me. What they're for I have no idea. As my eyes wandered around the room, my head started to ache.

As my head started to pound, I started to remember. I got into the car with Damyu, and at some point, we started arguing. Arguing about how we were going to explain this to our parents. Eventually at some point, something flew out of my hands and out the open window next to me. I then tried to reach for it as I unbuckled my seatbelt, all the while Damyu screamed for me to sit back down. After that I heard a car horn and the car started to swerve, then I heard another car horn. After that nothing. I look back up at Sora.

"So, what's gonna happen to me? If this place is the afterlife, then are you here to guide me on to a better place. Isn't that, right?"

Sora gave me a smile as she answered.

"That is correct. Currently you have several choices to make. Your first choice is I send you down to the pits of hell, where you'll spend the rest of your days drawing up water and watering the devil's lawn. Where your new name will be "Water Bitch""

My mouth just hung open as my ears listened to every word that Sora just said.

"What!? Hell? Why would I go to Hell? What the hell, did I do to get me sent to Hell you bitch!"

I watched as Sora stared to glare at me even harder as her face continued to hold her fake smile.

"Why you asked?"

I gulped as I started to get nervous.

"For one thing, you lied to your parents about staying home. Left your younger sister to a neighbor. Not only that, but you are a lethargic, greedy, selfish girl who put off studying as much as possible. All in favor of instant pleasure and to waste your days playing video games, watching anime and hosting TNT sessions. And of course, the last thing you did was blackmail your brother for your own selfish needs. Not to mention that you threw your parents T.V out of their window. All in the grand scheme of going to the convention. Need I go on?"

Guilt started to take hold of me as I stared down at the ground. I heard Sora sighing once again as she spoke.

"Don't be so gloomy, after all you have two other choices to make."

I stopped looking at the ground as I turned my attention back to Sora.

"What are the other two choices?" I asked.

Sora face fell into confusion.

"Did I say, "two other choices?" I meant to say that you don't have any other choice."

My jaw fell open. I then clenched the sides of my head as I cried out.

"This sucks! If I knew I was going to die today, I would have stopped and played VR Slayers for the last time, while I was at the con!"

"Though, I guess having you be reborn in another world might be an option."

I stopped my voice as I took in what was said.

"You mean, I could live in a different world just like the anime and manga's I have read? A world filled with orcs and goblins, dwarves and elves, dungeons and dragons?"

Sora just nodded. After she nodded, I was stoked, for this is a dream come true. I mean, I haven't met anyone online or in real life that doesn't want to go into a fantasy world. After all who would give up the chance of being a hero.

This is great! Now, it's time for me to put everything I learned to the test! I feel confident about this. After all, I spent thousands of hours playing RPGs and watching anime. It's my time to shine!

"Unfortunately, for you Seeya, I can't send you to another world."

My dream shattered right in front of my eyes. What was I supposed to do to try and convince her? My answer: I ran up to Sora and got up and personal with her. Ignoring any meaning of personal space. I grabbed her slutty looking clothes and started to shake her down.

"WHY?! Why can't I go live off in my own fantasy type world?"

"Because for me to send you there it'll mean, that someone else who's more qualified, can't go."

"That's a load of bullshit and you know it!"

I don't care if some random nobody hates me. I'll go live in another world even if it means death for someone else.

"Maybe so, but you don't have any qualities of someone who can become a hero. And just the fact that you are wishing someone's death right now, further proves that you are fit to be nothing more than a "Water Bitch." But don't worry, you could have another chance in another billion years after you serve your sentence. HAHAHAHA!"

Sora laughed as I gritted my teeth in anger. I walked down the stairs and folded my arms in anger as I walked away from the stupid throne. I stood still and tapped my foot down in anger. I then turned around, pointing a finger at Sora and started making my case.

"Listen here "goddess" if that is what you really are. I am more qualified than anyone alive. I've played thousands of hours playing video games. I've watched thousands of hours watching anime. And I've hosted and played dozens of different campaigns in TnT."

Sora looked at me with a bored look as she readjusted her body. Her right elbow now rested on the arms of the throne as she supported her head, with her right fist against her cheek. Her right leg crossed over her left leg, as she rested her left arm in her lap. She then took a deep breath as she closed her eyes. Then she opened her eyes once more, as she glared at me.

"And that is going to convinced me how?" She asked me.

I look into her narrowed eyes, and I could tell that she resents me. She's looking down on me for some reason. What that reason is I haven't got a clue. But I listened as she continued.

"That you got these so called… "skills?" That you are capable of leading adventurers on dangerous life-threatening quest, and make it through, ok? That you are able to overcome fear and move forward even though people will die? That you are able to inspire not only yourself but others as well? Do you possess any of these skills in question?"

I looked down at the ground dejected. After all Sora is telling the truth. I don't have any of those skills. But I clenched my fist in determination and I looked up at Sora.

"I may not have any of those skills right now, but I can learn. After all, most people are content with just living life. As long as they are able to provide for their families, why do anything else? But given the chance, I'll do it. I'll be the greatest hero or adventurer in the world. After all, many people are given the call to do something great, but they either don't recognize the opportunity or are content with where they are at. So, they don't make a name for themselves."

I marched up to the throne and I stared Sora straight in the eyes. As I am looking at Sora, I am reminded of Perseus and the Kraken. For Sora is giving off this aura, an aura that screamed out "WATCH YOUR STEP!" After all, the Kraken is one of the most feared creatures on Earth. A giant sea creature that not even Zeus could stand against. A Titan Killer. Yet, Perseus prevailed against the Kraken. Despite being at a huge disadvantage, Perseus answered the Call of Heroes.

And I want to answer that call.

"I want to make a name for myself."

I watched as Sora just sneered at me with narrowed eyes. She opened her mouth to say something when suddenly, a loud doorbell sound rang through the air. I looked around for the source of that sound. For I have no idea what that sound means.

"Oh my," I head Sora say, "he died after just arriving to the hospital."

I turned to Sora.

"Who died?"

Immediately, after asking that question. The white curtains disappeared and revealed the one person I thought I'd never see again.

"DAMYU!"

I watched as Damyu opened his eyes; he groaned as he sat up on the ground. He then started looked around in confusion before setting his eyes on me.

"Where am I? Seeya?"

I ran to my brother and hugged him tightly. While hugging him I started spouting out my frustrations.

"Damyu it's horrible! This stupid woman thinks she's some sort of goddess and has done nothing but cause me trouble! She even stated that I was going to hell. Me! Your perfect little sister was going to spend all eternity being a bitch to some horny ass devil!"

Damyu didn't say anything, instead he just pushed me off of him.

"I don't know what you are going on about Seeya, but now isn't the time for your antics. Where the hell are, we?"

I don't know why, but that angered me to the point where I wanted to hit my brother. So, I did just that.

"OW!" Damyu turned to me full of anger. "Seeya, why did you hit me?"

I just got up off the ground, folded my arms and turned away from my brother.

"Because, you don't care that your cute little sister might end up going to hell because of you."

I glanced at my brother to see that his face was confused.

"Huh? Because of me?" Damyu stood up and walked up to me. "Idiot! You were the one that cause this to happen in the first place. If you didn't unbuckle your seatbelt in the first place, I wouldn't be distracted and we wouldn't be here!"

"It wasn't my fault! I was holding the signed poster of Yuki up in front of me, when something pulled it from my hands."

"That doesn't mean unbuckle your seatbelt, Seeya!"

"It was a green light Damyu! That truck purposely ran a red light!

"Actually," Sora started as she interjected herself into my brother's and I conversation. "That traffic light you were going through, shorted out just seconds before you crossed. IT was a greenlight for everyone. The truck was moving forward slightly faster as the brakes were out. The driver was unaware until he tried to stop seconds before hitting you. You were going to die by the delivery truck either way. The only difference was who died first. Had Damyu didn't try to swerve out of the way, he would have died first."

Damyu and I looked at each other for a second before turning towards the goddess. I heard Damyu sigh as he started to walk away. I just watched him as he started to near what looked like an edge of a platform. I walked over to Damyu and just looked at him. Damyu was staring at something intently. So, as I turned my head downward, I noticed that Damyu and I were on a floating platform, floating over darkness.

"Careful," Sora said scaring the shit out of me. "If you take one step over the edge, your soul will be destroyed and you won't have a chance at rebirth or moving to the afterlife."

What kind of Afterlife place is this?

I heard Damyu let out a heavy sigh before he and I started to walk back towards Sora's throne.

"So, Sora," Damyu started, "is there anything else we should know about?"

Sora just smiled as she took a deep breath and slowly let it out. She then stood up out of her throne and walked down the stairs. As she was walking, she moved her arms so that they were stretched outwards. Then she started to glow as a mysterious white light appeared and started to shine brightly.

"Seeya Later Strawberry, Damyu Too Strawberry, lost souls who have lived a short life on Earth. Together you both have the choice of either passing through to the other side, or be sent to another world and live out a second life full of adventure. Now choose, for I, Sora, Goddess of Dawn, will grant you your wish. But be warned, you both must decide where to go together. So please, take your time and discus your future."

I just stared at Sora with my mouth opened in shock.

W-Why is she saying all of this? And what is up with that attitude of hers?

I turned to look at Damyu. He was currently in his "processing" pose, with his left arm going across his chest, while his right hand was up pushing his glasses up. I was never sure why this became the pose he took while processing information.

"So, let me get this straight." Damyu stated as he looked up towards Sora. "I am dead. And the only reason why Seeya is here is because she is dead too. Am I getting this information correctly?"

Sora just smiled softly as she answered. "Yes. That is correct."

I'm starting to hate that smile of hers.

Damyu just sighed heavily as he sat on the ground. He then leaned backwards with his legs crossed, putting his weight onto his hands and arms. Looking at the sky, he started to look around at the stars that were shining down at us. I could tell that he was counting while thinking of what he is going to say next. It wasn't long before Damyu got up off of the ground. Readjusting his glasses, Damyu looked at Sora.

"When you say adventure, what do you mean by that?"

Sora just continued smiling as she's walking closer to me and Damyu, she rubbed her hands together, all the while mumbling something. Once she extends her arms, a magic circle appeared as an apparition appeared. I started to get super excited at seeing that apparition.

"Woah! That's so cool."

Sora just proudly stood there as she started to speak.

"Seeya and Damyu Strawberry, should you choose, you can start in another world filled with excitement and wonder. As demonstrated here, you'll choose a class that you want to be. You can be a wizard, a fighter, a barbarian, a paladin and so on."

As Sora spoke the apparition changed its look. It went from a dressing as a wizard to a fighter to a barbarian. Each form just made me more and more excited. After all, this is basically the start of every video game RPG I've ever played. Character Creation.

Now this is the very thing I have been waiting for.

"Do we have to go to another world?"

I started to groan in frustration as my hope and dreams were once again dashed into pieces.

"If you choose to do so, yes. It's a rule that people between the ages of 10-21 must be given the chance of choosing to be sent to another world."

Huh? That isn't what she told me before Damyu showed up. In fact, I had to go through a lot of trouble just to get her to even consider it.

I said nothing as Damyu just sighed. He turned to look at me. So, I did the only logical thing any younger sibling would do. I widen my eyes and silently pleaded with his to go with my wish.

The Puppy Dog Eyes will never fail!

Damyu just stared at me with contempt. I could tell as his right eye twitches in annoyance. But I'll be damned before I give up this opportunity of a lifetime. Which is why I am trying so hard to get Damyu to agree.

"Fine," Damyu said sighing heavily as he agreed. "I'll go into this new world. But first tell me something, our family. What will happen to our family?"

"Your family will be fine. They'll be sad at your passing, but they will recover. And your sister Hiya will grow up to be a kind individual. Is that enough for you?"

Damyu just sighed heavily as he looked up at the sky.

"Man, this is such a pain. But as long as mom, dad, and Hiya are fine. I guess I can't complain too much." Damyu then folded his arms. "So, what type of class do we get? Do we choose for ourselves? Or are we assigned a class at random?"

Sora just laughed at Damyu's question.

"Why you choose, silly. Though to be honest, I'm not sure what you're expecting but this is a standard form of Roleplaying you get from table-top games and video games. Since, you aren't familiar with these things like your sister, I'll help you choose one that you like." Sora glared at me and stated, very harshly I might add. "You bug can choose one on your own."

Bug? Why the hell am I a bug?

I was going to reply, but decided it was better not to.

"K, I guess I'll start by looking through the list. By myself."

* * *

"I can't choose what class I want to be?"

Man, I've been at this for hours. I know all of these things by heart, but it's still hard to choose just one.

It was really hard to choose a class. Since every class is balanced, they would not overpower others. Though that doesn't stop people from trying though. After all, Bards and Wizards are probably the two highest OP classes out there. Normally, I know what I want, because I am a very simple gun-ho type of person who just wants to play the game as soon as possible. But that's before I knew that Sora also included branches and sub-classes in the list for Damyu and I to choose from.

Why the hell is the Knight class, Paladin class and the Templar class separate? Not only that but each of them has their own special abilities. Knight class allows me to get a mount of either a horse, griffin, or a stupid jackass. I'll also be able to be proficient with spears, pikes, and halberds, along with long range weapons like longbows and crossbows. And that is all on top of swords, mace and axes.

I then glanced over the Paladin class.

Paladin class allows me to use holy magic. Not only that but I'll have a stronger defense compared to the Knight class. I'll also be proficient with both light and heavy armor, along with all weapons. So that's a plus. Paladins are able to use healing magic which will be good, especially if we don't have a healing class, like bards and druids in our party.

I then turned my attention to the Templar class.

The Templar class. The only thing the Templar class has over the others are two things. Templars favor two handed weapons, which is useful for doing a lot of damage at once. The other thing is that the Templars seem to value speed over defense. They are more like rouges in that aspect. Probably to get the fighting over as swiftly as possible. They also seem to be proficient in some holy and illusion magic.

I gripped my head in frustration.

"AAHHH! I'll never be able to choose a class at this rate!"

I sighed before I turned my attention towards Damyu and watched as he was currently scrolling down some information.

"Note that a spell caster requires more intelligence, than any other stats, followed by charisma. And that's it. That is all of the classes and their weakness and advantages."

I watched as Damyu, look over the class list one more time, before watch him pick the spell caster Wizard. A bright light shined around my brother, blinding me for a moment. When the light disappeared Damyu was in a new set of clothes. He had on a dark blue cloak, with a chain that looks like an eye holding it together. His new shirt was black with what looked like to be leather armor. It was blue with some gray seams. He also had on brown boots that had a steel-toe on them. Over his arms there were some leather braces. Sora eyes shinned in approval as she praised my brother.

"Ooh, a spell caster, eh. Not bad, in fact with your knowledge that might be better to your advantage."

I just grit my teeth in anger.

That goddess thinks she knows everything. Why, I bet a million dollars that she has never played any video games? I'll show her.

"I GOT IT!" I shouted as I pointed to the sky. Causing both Damyu and Sora to look over towards me. "I'll choose the class that everyone knows and loves. The class that shouts "hero" to anyone walking by. I choose the Paladin!"

I clicked on the "Paladin" and just like Damyu I was engulfed in a light for a moment. When I looked at myself, I was amazed. I was currently wearing a red crimson cape that was hanging off of my shoulders. I had a red shoulder and arm armored plates with gold seams. I looked down at my dress and I was wearing a skirt with white seams, and I was wearing a white undershirt that was tight against my breast. Yet my breast was quite snug, as a yellow ribbon held it together. I looked down at my boots and they too were red, like the rest of my clothes. I was supper giddy as I stared at myself.

I look fantastic!!

"Ooh," I felt my spine tingle as Sora just mischievously grinned at me. "Now that is something. Though expected, since the paladin and fighter classes are the most popular. But I think it suits you enough that you might make it work. With years of practice and if you forgo the hero ambition that is."

I swear, I'm going to punch this goddess in the face.

In fact, that is what I did. I walked over to Sora, who was still preoccupied with Damyu to notice, and I punched her in the face. After all she had it coming. I punched her so hard that she went flying in the air. I just stood there, hands on my hips looking mighty proud of myself. I turned my attention to Damyu, just as Sora fell back onto the ground bleeding and unconscious. Damyu just stared at me in shock before doing the one thing that pleases me. He got down on one knee.

"Seeya, I was wrong in doubting you. I'll follow you to the ends of the earth. This I swear to you."

I just grinned and held myself up high.

"I accept your services Damyu. Now," I turned around looking all cool. "Let us go and bring peace to this new world."

I then walked up to a door, opened it, and together me and Damyu went to start our new life in another world.

I was pulled out of my fantasy when Sora just cleared her throat. She gave me this knowing look that made me blush under her stare. I just whistled innocently and looked at anywhere but her.

"Now then, I'm going to give you two a boon that'll help you on your adventure. Now close your eyes."

Sora placed her hands-on top of mine and my brother's head. She then started to channel magic into us. I felt the magic Sora use flow through me. I felt malice which cause me to open my eyes. I flinched as I saw Sora staring intently at me. The air around me became heavy as I stared into Sora's eyes. Her eyes went from golden yellow to red. Though why I have no idea, I could have sworn I saw anger in her eyes. A moment later the magic stopped and Sora removed her hand from my head.

"Alright, that is it for you two."

"I don't feel any different." I heard Damyu say as I turned to look at him.

"A boon isn't meant to be noticeable. It's a passive skill that activates automatically that way you can focus on other skills. Besides, if everyone in the world knows that you have a boon from the goddess, it would be a chore for you. As you'd get picked to go on crazy ridiculously dangerous quest."

I watched as Damyu placed a hand under his chin as he thought about what Sora just said.

"Hmm, that makes sense. A boon helps us in the long run, while at the same time, allow us to grow accustomed to our new lifestyle until we can handle bigger quest. Thus, preserving our lives longer in the new world."

Sora just giggled at Damyu's explanation. "In a sense."

"So, what sort of boon did we get?"

Sora then turned her attention towards me, with an air of love that I felt with my mom. No hint of hatred or malice to be felt.

I must have imagined it.

"Just so you know there are different types of boons that gods and goddesses are able to give out. Some positive, some negative. My boon has both a positive and negative effect. Seeya, your boon allows you to deal twice the amount of damage and every damage that you take is half. However, please note that the negative action is that you get half the experience points to level up and your mental fortitude decays over time."

Huh?

"Wait! What do you mean by that?"

"Damyu, your boon is that your intelligence stats are higher than normal, and you are given two additional spell slots to use magic. You can also use every type of magic there is. However, please note that you shall be limited on what spells you can cast per day, with the exemption of Caster Magic. You can use those type of spells anytime as long as you have the mana."

"Hey! Don't ignore me Hag! I don't care if you are a goddess! Nobody ignores me!"

Sora just continued to ignore me as she started to cast some short of magic. A giant magic seal appeared directly beneath Damyu and I as the ground shook. The magic seal started to glow steadily as a magic bar filled up. Then Sora did some fancy hand seals, though what they mean is anyone's guess as I don't know why she is doing that. Once her arms were spread opened the shaking stopped, as the magic seal started to shoot up some beams. Sora then handed Damyu a blue glove, then a red glove to me.

"Here, my last gift for you guys. This is a glove for keeping track of your party's information, your inventory, your skills, everything you need for your adventure. Also take this magic orb."

I watched as Sora handed Damyu a magic blue orb, but I then turned my attention to my new glove as I put it on my left hand. Looking at the glove it doesn't seem to be anything special. It was red with blue seams and on the back of the glove is a purple glass.

Why is there glass on the back of the glove?

I touched the purple glass and instantly a screen popped up.

"Woah! Cool!"

Being a gamer girl, I instantly knew what I was looking at. I placed my finger on the screen and watched as it reacted to my touch. I clicked on the inventory button and saw the screen turn to my inventory. I saw some rations, about 50 meters of rope, several jugs of water, a tent and some flint and steel, and torches. Curious about what will happen if I press on one of the items, I pressed on the flint and steel.

After pressing the flint and steel, instantaneously, they appeared in my hands.

"Woah! That is so neat! Look Damyu! I pressed the item, and it appeared directly in my hands."

Damyu just folded his arms. "That's nice, do you know how to place it back in your inventory?"

I started to sweat.

"Huh, yeah." I turned my attention back to my screen. "All you have to do is…is…"

Oh my god! I don't know how to put it back. Ok! Think, Seeya, think. Where is the manual. There has to be a manual that I can look at.

I quickly glanced through the different screens, trying to find the manual. Not seeing anything, even after looking through the different sections' multiple times. The only problem is that there was quite a bit of different screens. So, being the gamer that I was, I started to think really hard.

Ok. It is taking me too long to look through the screens. If only there was a way to separate them so I could look at them all at once.

I heard Sora sigh as she grabbed my gloved hand. She then pressed a button and the screen disappeared.

"Hey! What gives?"

"Give it a second." Sora answered.

Almost immediately after she said that the blue seams glowed for a second. And then sure enough the inventory screen reappeared in the corner of my vision. However, it was directed only to my left eye.

"Woah! This is so cool!" I yelled as I looked up at Sora. "What happened?"

Sora just smiled softly and stated what happened.

"I just pressed the button on the back of your glove, to move your screen. Let me show you." Sora turned towards Damyu and bid him to watch. "Damyu pay attention as well."

Damyu just nodded in response as Sora then started to explain the three buttons on the back of the glove.

"The button on the left, brings up your screen. Similar to a hologram, and what you did a few moments ago, you can interact with the display. You can navigate through the different screens with the tabs on top. The middle button has a unique factor to it."

Sora pressed the middle button and the hologram screen disappeared. Only for it to reappear once again in the corner of my vision. I started to look around. I saw Damyu's name, level: 1 and a red and blue bar over his head. I then looked over towards Sora and I saw something interesting. Her name was in seven asterisks for some odd reason. As for her level it was nothing but four question marks.

"I can see everyone's information."

"Yes, just like in RPG's. The middle button moves the screen from the back of your gloves to your peripheral vision. It also highlights everyone's name, level, health and status. You can see your own health bar in the top right corner of your vision. Not only that but there's also a green bar that shows your experience points. Of course, as a gamer and to make room it's just worded as XP. To access any screen you want, you just have to think about it, and it'll appear on the left side of your vision."

I was ecstatic as I just kept looking around, taking everything in sight. I turned to see Damyu and he just has a somber look on his face. It was obvious that he wasn't as excited about this as I was.

He could at least try to look interested in it.

I looked down at my glove and pointed at the third button.

"Um, Sora," I started, pointing at the third button. "What does the third button do?"

Sora just smiled and pressed the button. She held onto the button for a total of three seconds. After three seconds passed, the glove glowed and then turned off. The information that I saw in my vision went away as well. I looked around and noticed that my vision was normal. No inventory screen, no health or experience bar. Just plain old vision.

"The third button powers down your glove, should you ever want it off. Just note that once off, your party members, should you have any, won't be able to view your stats. Such as your health, mana, level, et cetera. Meaning that if you die while the glove is off, no one will know."

Sora just smiled after she finished.

"Well, that is everything you need to know. The rest is up to you guys."

I turned to Damyu and started talking.

"Isn't this cool Damyu? It's like we are the protagonist in our very own story!"

Damyu just sighed, but he didn't bother to say anything. His face said it all, "I don't want to do this." It doesn't take a genius to know that Damyu isn't as enthusiastic about this as I am. I just pouted as I mentally scoffed.

He could at the very least look excited.

I then noticed the flint and steel in my hands. Then I remembered that Sora never told us how to put items away.

"Um, Sora, you never did tell us how to put items back in our inventory."

Sora just gently smiled as she placed her hand against her cheek.

"That's right, I never did. Silly me."

I don't know if it was just me, but for some reason Sora was staring intently at me. I looked around to see if there was a reason. But all I see is that Damyu was looking up something on the hologram. He was thinking about something, but I don't know what. I then turned my attention back to Sora. Her hands were back down in front of her.

"Seeya, you see the pouch hanging off of your belt to your right?"

My right?

I looked down and I did notice a pouch hanging there. I then grabbed it off of my belt and held it out in front of me.

"Talking about this pouch?"

Sora just nodded, "Yep, now all you have to do is just place the items that you want to add to your inventory, inside that bag."

Sora stopped talking, and for a few moments there was nothing but silence. I just stared between Sora and the pouch.

"That's it?" I asked.

"Yep, that's it. Easy enough to remember."

I just stared at the pouch in shock.

It's just like the Bag that Holds Everything from Trolls and Treasure.

"Oh, I almost forgot."

Sora pressed a finger to our foreheads. I turned my attention to Damyu, who just shrugs in response.

"Now," Sora grinned as she concentrated her magic, "for one more spell."

Wha-

I opened my eyes and gasped. I coughed as I moved my head. I noticed that I was on the floor, though I can't recall why I fell unconscious in the first place.

What…What happened?

I gripped my head in pain as a splitting headache overwhelmed me.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! These headaches are annoying."

Next to me I can hear Damyu groaning as well. Slowly both Damyu and I stood up.

"What happened?" Damyu asked as he held his head in his hand.

"Are you two, ok?"

I turned my head and I saw Sora looking at us in concern.

"I'm ok." I replied. I walked over to Damyu and asked if he was ok.

Damyu nodded. "I'm fine, just wish I didn't get these headaches."

Sora just sighed in relief before she speaking.

"Thank goodness. You two just passed out. I was worried that you two would disappear. But it looks like it is nothing."

I groaned as I held my head.

Why did Damyu and I passed out? I remember going over about the glove, but after that…nothing.

"Do you two have any memory problems? Do you remember what we last talked about?"

"The last thing that I remember was you showing Seeya how to put things away into her inventory. After that, nothing."

I nodded in agreement as that was what I last remembered too. Sora sighed in relief as she placed a hand over her heart.

"What a relief. You two have no gaps in your memory. Very rarely, but not always, would people suddenly pass out. It's just a side effect of your soul accepting your deaths. Now, it is time for you two young heroes to start your adventure."

Sora summoned a red magic circle right underneath me and Damyu. I stared at it in awe.

"Damyu hold out the orb."

Damyu nodded and held out the orb. The orb started to glow brightly. As he and I stood in the middle of the magic circle, Sora started to chant. As she chanted, the circle started to glow bright as small red circles started to float around us. I was amazed at the sight that was going on.

"Pretty." I said to myself.

"Damyu, Seeya, remember that in the end all you have is each other."

What does she mean by that?

Then Sora waved at us as Damyu and I were engulfed in light.

"See ya." Sora said smiling as we disappeared.
