Chapter 33 - Chapter 33 Hellfire Arena: 100 Victories

The night passed uneventfully. Early the next morning, as the first light of dawn appeared, a man and a woman emerged from a house. It was Qian Xunji and Manyao. A chilling killing intent solidified around them, creating a special space isolated from their surroundings.

The smiles on their faces vanished simultaneously as they stepped out of the wooden house, for today was the day they would attempt to achieve 100 consecutive victories in the Hellfire Arena. If they successfully reached 100 wins, they would qualify to challenge the Hell Road.

The two quickly completed the registration process and arrived at the Hellfire Arena's waiting area.

Today, the Hellfire Arena had more spectators than ever before, but they remained silent under the immense killing intent emanating from the ten participants.

Inside the Hellfire Arena, a group of ten people slowly entered. Qian Xunji walked in with composed steps. Standing in the middle of the group, Qian Xunji became the focus of attention for the other nine participants and the audience in the stands.

"Boom—" The heavy, thick stone door completely blocked the entrance, emitting a deafening roar.

At this moment, eight of the nine people who had walked towards the killing arena with Qian Xunji almost simultaneously surrounded Qian Xunji and another middle-aged man in black robes.

They knew very well that Qian Xunji and this middle-aged man in black robes posed the greatest threat to them. If they couldn't kill Qian Xunji and this middle-aged man in black robes, they would have no chance of survival.

Qian Xunji looked up and saw Manyao on the stands, her face full of encouragement, her two small fists waving incessantly. Qian Xunji smiled and waved back.

But in a corner unseen by anyone, a scantily clad, seductive woman revealed a resentful expression in her eyes, muttering under her breath: "Just wait, it'll be over soon, hahaha."

Qian Xunji's oppressive gaze slowly fell on the middle-aged man in black robes, a hint of blood red appearing in his golden eyes. A chilling killing intent emanated from him almost instantly as he coldly stared at the middle-aged man in black robes not far from him.

"Blood Butcher, I never expected my final opponent to be you."

On the battle leaderboard of this hellish killing arena, he and Manyao held the top two spots respectively, their records far surpassing everyone else. Only Blood Butcher remained close behind. But coincidentally, for the past six months, Blood Butcher had perfectly avoided him and Manyao.

Qian Xunji would never believe there wasn't something fishy going on.

"That's quite a coincidence." A hoarse voice seemed to emanate from the deepest hell, and Blood Butcher's loose black robe suddenly burst into flames. Black ash scattered, revealing a muscular, bronze physique.

His short, fiery red hair was like steel needles, and his eyes were equally fiery red, fixed intently on Qian Xunji, making no attempt to conceal his killing intent.

"Today, I will show you what true strength is. The reason I avoided you before was simply because I didn't have the strength to defeat you. Now, my strength has greatly increased. I will use your blood to establish my position in the Killing City. Prepare to die!" Blood Butcher said with a sinister grin.

Blood Butcher then unleashed his martial spirit. Flames of intense heat rose from his body, and under everyone's watchful eyes, he suddenly collapsed to the ground, his solid muscles seemingly coated with a layer of fiery red glaze. This glaze then deepened, forming a carapace-like structure that enveloped his abdomen and chest. Simultaneously, his large, broad hands transformed into giant pincers, crushing the solid stone slabs with each touch. One could only imagine the terrifying power these pincers possessed. Most

strangely, a massive white scorpion tail sprouted near his tailbone. The tail, composed of nine fused tail bones, stood high, radiating intense killing intent, its tip connected to a fiery red hook.

Blood Butcher's martial soul was the Flame Poison Scorpion, a high-level martial soul combining offense and defense. Qian Xunji had meticulously studied this type of martial soul in the Martial Soul Hall library.

The Flame Poison Scorpion possessed extremely strong defense and fire resistance, and its forepaws were incredibly powerful, but its most dangerous feature was its tail. Not only is it incredibly sharp and capable of spewing flames, but the flames also contain potent fire poison. As a human martial soul, it is undoubtedly a top-tier martial soul standing at the pinnacle among fire-attribute martial souls.

Everything has a weakness, and the Flame Scorpion is no exception. When a scorpion hunts, it uses its front pincers to grip its prey, while its tail, positioned high on its abdomen, curves forward to sting with its venomous stinger. Therefore, the Flame Scorpion's weakness lies in the head of its tail, the highest and largest part of it.

A series of roars suddenly rang out, and the other eight people in the arena suddenly moved. As if planned, four rushed towards Qian Xunji, while the other four attacked Xue Tu.

Qian Xunji and Xue Tu remained locked in combat, but the moment the four charged, both vanished from their spots.

Xue Tu, on all fours, moved with the speed of a scorpion-like spirit beast from the Soul Beast Forest, his figure flickering like a phantom. In an instant, he was in front of a Fallen One.

His front pincers shot up, and the next moment, the person's head exploded, and their body collapsed limply to the ground.

Qian Xunji, on the other hand, moved with a fluid, shifting motion, making him impossible to detect. This was a movement technique that Qian Xunji had honed through countless life-or-death experiences, incredibly fast.

In no time, the four men were severed by Qian Xunji's sword, slowly collapsing to the ground. Crimson blood spread along the cracks in the ground. Qian Xunji kicked aside the corpse of a fallen man before him, his eyes coldly fixed on Xue Tu opposite him.

As if responding to Qian Xunji, Xue Tu met his gaze without flinching. The scorpion tail behind him retracted from the left chest of the last fallen man, pulling out a bloodied heart. Mixed with warm blood, the heart was still beating slightly.

At this moment, the two in the arena once again became the focus of everyone's attention.

Without any warning, Xue Tu's pupils suddenly contracted, and his massive left arm slammed into the ground. Intense fiery red light condensed on his left arm, carrying strange soul power fluctuations, and the left arm sank deeply into the stone slab.

The space around the arena suddenly distorted, and scorching heat waves surged from the ground, seemingly freezing the air itself.

He was using the soul skill attached to his left arm bone; against an opponent like Qian Xunji, he couldn't possibly hold back. He had relied on this powerful control-type soul skill to survive in this perilous killing city. Terrifying

heat condensed in the center of the Hell Slaughter Arena, causing the blue stone slabs to crack, and a powerful shockwave emanated from the distorted air.

"Lava Purgatory." Seeing the fiery red shockwave instantly engulf Qian Xunji, Xue Tu's cold killing intent intensified. He poured his soul power into his left arm without reservation, and the temperature in the arena continued to rise.

Qian Xunji, seeing Xue Tu's soul skill, immediately understood that it was the soul bone skill of his left arm, and it seemed to be quite old. Its power was considerable; if it weren't for his extremely strong soul power cultivation, the terrifying temperature alone would have been enough to burn his lungs and internal organs.
