Chapter 13 - Flying Nimbus

Logan felt a sharp pang of heartache.

Ten million Berries—gone just like that.

That was everything he had painstakingly saved over ten years at Marineford.

Senzu Beans were food from the Dragon Ball world. An ordinary person could eat one and go ten days without hunger, and more importantly, they possessed terrifying regenerative power—so long as you weren't dead, any injury would heal rapidly after eating one.

Still, Logan knew this amount of money was insignificant in the long run.

Once he reached the level of a Yonko, money would no longer be something he needed to worry about at all.

Besides—now was definitely not the time to be stingy.

He crouched down and handed five Senzu Beans to Nami.

"Just eat one. Keep the rest for later. Your injuries will heal after you take it—this is a divine medicine."

Nami looked at the bean-like pill in confusion, but without the slightest hesitation, she picked one up and tossed it into her mouth.

Almost immediately, her eyes widened in shock.

The pain in her body faded rapidly. When she looked down at the wound on her right shoulder, it was healing at a visible speed.

At the same time, the exhaustion weighing down her entire body vanished, replaced by surging vitality.

"What is this medicine?! It's incredible—how can it work this well?" Nami exclaimed. She had never seen anything so miraculous.

Logan lowered his voice mysteriously.

"I begged for it from a cat."

Nami burst out laughing, barely holding it back.

"I don't believe you at all."

Then she hesitated, a hint of guilt appearing on her face.

"This medicine must be extremely valuable… Wasn't it a waste to use it on such a small injury?"

"There's nothing more justified than this," Logan said gently, reaching out to pat her head.

"Come on. Let's go find Luffy. With his current strength, fighting Arlong alone will still be tough. If I'm not nearby watching over him, I won't feel at ease."

Nami nodded firmly.

"Mm."

The two of them rushed toward Arlong Park.

At that moment, the gates of Arlong Park had already been smashed apart, and even one of the stone walls had collapsed.

Outside, the villagers watched anxiously, cheering for the Straw Hat crew.

When Logan and Nami arrived, they saw Zoro, drenched in sweat, struggling in battle against Hachi—but there was no sign of Luffy or Sanji.

"Where's Luffy? And where's that blond cook?" Logan immediately asked the villagers.

A villager hurriedly explained,

"Luffy was knocked into the sea by Arlong! His feet are pinned under a boulder—he can't get out. Genzo and Nojiko are trying to save him!"

Another villager added,

"The blond cook jumped into the water too. He went to help Luffy."

Logan glanced at the battlefield and immediately understood the situation.

As for Usopp—he didn't even bother asking. That guy's greatest talent was running away. There was no way he'd die easily.

Logan looked at Zoro, who could barely stand anymore, and instantly knew what was wrong.

His old wounds had flared up.

Otherwise, with Zoro's strength, dealing with Hachi should've been easy.

Seeing Zoro falter, Hachi raised his blade and slashed down mercilessly.

Bang!

Zoro took the hit head-on. His body swayed violently, nearly collapsing.

Hachi didn't stop there.

Seizing the opening, he drove a kick straight into Zoro's chest.

Zoro spat out a mouthful of blood and was sent flying backward more than ten meters before barely regaining his footing.

He tried to force himself to stand—

But the moment he moved, his legs gave out, and he dropped to one knee.

"Zoro—eat it!" Logan shouted, tossing a Senzu Bean toward him.

Hachi… Hachi…

If nothing unexpected happens, this is probably the peak moment of your life.

Logan silently prayed for Hachi.

He actually had a decent impression of him—simple, loyal, and straightforward. Hopefully Zoro wouldn't slice him in half.

But if he did… well, that couldn't be helped.

Zoro recognized Logan's voice instantly.

Without even looking at what it was, he caught the bean and swallowed it whole.

The next instant—

Zoro's eyes flew wide open.

He stood up in one smooth motion and ripped off the bandages wrapped around his chest.

A terrifying aura exploded from his body.

He was nothing like the barely-standing wounded man from moments ago—it was as if he'd become an entirely different person.

The surrounding crowd was completely stunned.

"What's going on?! Didn't that green-haired swordsman look like he was about to die just now?"

"Yeah! I saw blood pouring out of his chest—his face was pale as a ghost!"

"How did he recover so fast?!"

"What did that white-haired guy give him?"

Not just the villagers—the fish-men felt it too.

Before, Zoro's presence had been like a candle flickering in the wind.

Now, it burned like a raging inferno—dangerous, violent, and overwhelming.

No one felt this more clearly than Hachi.

"This has to be fake! I'm not scared of you!" Hachi roared, enraged, charging at Zoro with his blades.

Zoro grinned coldly and said,

"You damn octopus—watch me chop you up!"

He took a step forward.

His body turned into a blur and vanished in an instant.

Logan had already stopped paying attention to Zoro's fight.

In his normal condition, Zoro dealing with Hachi was a foregone conclusion—even killing Arlong wouldn't be impossible.

What truly worried Logan now—

Was Luffy, still submerged underwater.

As a Devil Fruit user, Luffy in seawater was essentially helpless.

Without hesitation, Logan leapt forward and plunged straight into the sea.

Splash!

Water erupted as his body disappeared beneath the surface.

Cold seawater enveloped him completely.

And at that very moment—

A familiar system notification sounded in his mind.

[Congratulations. Sign-in task completed.]

[Rewards obtained:Flying Nimbus, Nichirin Blade, Water Breathing Technique.]

Logan broke into a wide grin.

"So that's why the task didn't complete earlier. The sign-in location was underwater."

A flash of blue light appeared at his waist—

A blue Nichirin Blade materialized.

At the same time, the complete method of Water Breathing flooded into his mind.

Logan's expression lit up with delight.

The Nichirin Blade was a weapon from the Demon Slayer world, forged from ore that absorbed sunlight.

Paired with it, Water Breathing was a combat technique that strengthened heart and lung function, allowing the blood to absorb massive amounts of oxygen in a short time—resulting in explosive physical power capable of shattering mountains.

As for the Flying Nimbus—

Logan felt it instinctively.

It was hovering in the sky above him.

Though he was still underwater, he wondered whether he could summon it.

"Flying Nimbus," Logan murmured silently.

Above Arlong Park—

Villagers and fish-men alike instinctively looked up.

They saw a golden cloud descending straight from the sky, like a massive ingot of gold falling from the heavens, accelerating faster and faster.

"Look—!!"

"The cloud is falling!!"
