"Xander.. if you don't get down here right now I swear I'm gonna kill you" screamed a woman in her late thirties as she made her way to her car.
But Xander didn't care...
He never did. He continued with his chants until he reached the last floor and even as he reached towards the car.
" Your gonna be the end of me one day I swear" Joanna said in a low tone but loud enough for her 15 year old son to hear.
She started for the road, occasionally glancing at her son who was strangely at ease for someone who was being sent to the a hostel far away from home.
".... Sooo... big day huh?" She said as she lat out a nervous chuckle.
" yeah... I guess" Xander said eyes never leaving the his laps.
"You knoww... maybe it isn't as bad as you think sweetheart. It may be good for you.... to make friends.... and..move on" her voice came softer than she expected at the last part of her sentence.
Xander didn't answer ....
He just sighed quietly and looked out the window.
He didn't want to have a conversation with anyone..... especially his mom.
He was just tired... of fighting...and for once actually agreed with his mom.
Maybe.. he'd move on just like she said... make some friends and be happy.
Just maybe....
