Chapter 130 - The tree demon is a slave

Ryan glanced at the time. It was nearly noon. "Alright. Go eat."

"Yes." Ethan stood up and left promptly.

After Ethan walked out, Ryan picked up the potted plant and headed straight for the dining hall.

"Ryan, you're going to eat?" Aurelius Von Obsidian's voice rang out urgently. "What about me if you eat?"

Ryan smiled faintly. "Didn't you say you don't eat mortal food? After two meals, you're already addicted?"

"I—I'm hungry, alright?" Aurelius Von Obsidian retorted stubbornly.

Ryan sighed. "You've lived eight thousand years. Admitting you want to eat won't kill you."

Aurelius Von Obsidian fell silent for a moment, then muttered, "Fine. I admit it. I like your mortal food. Happy now?"

Ryan nodded. "Good. Wait a bit. I'll get you something decent."

Only then did Aurelius Von Obsidian stop agitating his leaves.

Ryan returned from the canteen with a few dishes, went back to his office, and locked the door behind him.
