Chapter 56 - Chapter 56: The Final Question

What was it that kept slipping beyond Siya's sight?

The question lingered like a shadow she could not grasp.

The moment Kaal had been secured and imprisoned again, an unsettling restlessness returned to her heart — stronger than before. It was not fear. Not anger. Something deeper. A quiet warning echoing from within.

Something was wrong.

Very wrong.

The containment chamber glowed faintly with cold blue light. Kaal's unconscious body lay restrained at the center, energy suppressors humming steadily around him.

Siya stood motionless a few steps away, her gaze fixed entirely on him.

She did not blink.

She barely breathed.

The others watched her in silence.

Minutes turned into hours.

Four hours passed.

Siya had not moved even once.

Andy leaned closer to Ali and whispered under his breath, careful not to disturb her concentration.

"Is she… thinking something? Because if she is, I don't understand how staring at him for four hours helps."

Ali frowned slightly.

"Be quiet," he murmured. "Maybe she's searching for an answer."

The room fell silent again — until Siya finally spoke.

Her voice was calm.

Too calm.

"Ali," she said without looking away from Kaal, "tell me something… if something keeps disturbing you again and again… what should you do?"

Ali answered instinctively.

"Simple. Destroy the thing that causes the disturbance."

Siya nodded slowly.

"Hm… I see."

A pause followed.

Then she said quietly—

"Alright. Then destroy it."

Andy blinked in confusion.

"Destroy… what?"

Siya's eyes never left the unconscious figure before her.

"The one lying in front of you," she replied coldly.

"This Trikalyagya… or call him Kaal if you prefer. The one who must be eliminated is right here."

The air froze.

Ali and Andy exchanged shocked glances.

Siya continued, her tone emotionless.

"He is the greatest source of chaos. The greatest problem. Kill this demon while he is still unconscious."

Andy hesitated only for a second before stepping forward. Trust in Siya had always been absolute.

"Alright… if that's your order."

Energy gathered around Andy's weapon, forming a sharp luminous blade. He raised it, preparing to strike.

Just as the attack was about to land—

A sudden scream shattered the silence.

"NO! STOP!"

The unconscious body jerked violently.

Trikalyagya's eyes snapped open.

"I am not Kaal!" he shouted desperately.

Andy froze mid-strike.

Siya finally shifted her gaze, watching him with an unreadable expression — as if she had expected this exact moment.

Almost… as if she already knew.

"Oh," she said softly. "So you're awake."

Her voice held neither surprise nor relief.

"Tell me," she continued calmly, stepping closer, "you're not Kaal… right? Then you must be Trikalyagya."

Trikalyagya struggled against the restraints, breathing heavily.

"Yes, Siya. I am Trikalyagya. I swear I'm telling the truth."

Siya remained silent for several seconds, studying his face carefully.

Then she spoke again.

"You are a deity, aren't you?" she asked. "Then how can a demon with malicious intent control the body of a god?"

The question struck harder than any weapon.

Trikalyagya faltered.

"Please… at least give me a chance to explain," he said urgently. "You're misunderstanding everything."

Siya's expression did not change.

Her calmness felt more dangerous than anger.

"You have until tonight," she said quietly.

The entire room tensed.

"By then," she continued, "you will reveal your true identity to me. Every truth. Every lie."

Her eyes hardened.

"Otherwise, I will eliminate one more deceiver and demon without hesitation."

The words carried absolute certainty.

No emotion.

No doubt.

Only judgment.

She turned away slightly.

"Ali," she ordered, "take him back. Seal him in his previous containment."

Ali hesitated but nodded. Orders were orders.

As they began escorting Trikalyagya away, he struggled to speak, desperation filling his voice.

"Siya, please! Just give me one chance to explain! You know this… you know you cannot kill me!"

His voice echoed through the corridor.

"Siy—aaaa!"

The doors closed behind him with a heavy metallic thud.

Silence returned.

But inside Siya's mind, the storm only grew stronger.

For the first time, she wasn't reacting to an enemy.

She was testing the truth itself.

And somewhere deep within her intuition, she felt it clearly—

The real danger had not revealed itself yet.

And tonight… everything would change.
