Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Big Mouth Beauty

In the evening, people who had been busy all day were heading home, and Ram, feeling depressed, walked aimlessly down the street.

"It would be great if I had my own film production company." "Or, after I film it myself, should I look for distribution?"

"Sigh... I won't think about it for now; I should fill my stomach first."

He walked for half a day but didn't see any Indian restaurants, and finally, being too hungry, he had no choice but to eat two hamburgers, which at least relieved the feeling of hunger.

A dejected Ram found himself in front of a high-end bar called "Jazz." "I've been running around all day; I should go in and relax," he thought, and stepped inside.

After entering the bar, he found a corner to sit down, ordered some beer, then looked around the environment. "It's really quite luxurious," Ram thought to himself.

A young man who is handsome, decently dressed, melancholic, and incredibly charming will always attract some beautiful women to strike up a conversation. Men have this desire for a fling, and many women share the same desire.

Ram, being alone, often became the target of such people. However, he always met them with a smile and politely refused, which made him a unique sight in this bar.

Listening to the soothing music and drinking two beers, he felt much better. With his mood calmed, Ram also began to see today's misfortunes in a lighter perspective, as he knew from his previous life that it wasn't easy to make it in the entertainment industry. He had gained a new understanding of his own positioning.

After paying the bill and walking out of the bar, he was preparing to enjoy the night scenery of Los Angeles when, after only a few steps, he heard a quarrel from the parking lot on the side of the bar. "Ah, get lost, you bastard!" Ram walked a few steps towards the parking lot, and then he could clearly hear the woman's curses.

Following the sound, Ram arrived at a back corner of the parking lot, where he saw two tall young men pulling the arm of a tall young woman.

Ram couldn't clearly see what the woman looked like because she was wearing a hat, but from her back, it was evident that she had an excellent figure.

"Bastards, let go of her!" Seeing this situation, Ram shouted without hesitation at the men who were pulling the woman's arm.

The two tall men clearly didn't expect to attract a passerby. When they saw Ram, they all laughed. One of them sneered disdainfully, "Hey, Injun, hurry up and get lost! I advise you to mind your own business."

The tall man's discriminatory words ignited Ram's anger. The tall man who had just spoken, seeing that Ram hadn't retreated, let go of the woman's arm and walked towards Ram.

"What? Still not leaving? Do you want a beating?"

Seeing the tall man walking towards him, Ram did not feel timid; instead, he looked at the tall man with disdain. There was a feeling of eagerness within him, as he hadn't yet tested his Verumkai in a real fight since being reborn and taking over this body.

The tall man, after being heavily struck by Ram's roundhouse kick, couldn't react at all and fell backward. The other thug hadn't even clearly seen what happened; he only saw Ram turn his body slightly, his leg move, and his companion fall.

This tall man stared at Ram, dumbfounded, and after a long while, he finally uttered, "Indian Kung... Kung Fu?" The woman who had been rescued next to them was also extremely surprised.

He shook his head, "It is not Kung Fu, it is know as kalaripayattu. Do you want to try too?" The tall man quickly shook his head after hearing this, thinking, "You're almost as good as Bruce Lee; fighting you would be crazy." Bruce Lee's fame in Los Angeles was known by everyone.

Seeing Ram looking a bit stunned, the man quickly helped his companion up from the ground and fled, afraid that Ram would continue to trouble them.

In fact, Ram was also surprised at this moment. When did he become so powerful? He only used three-tenths of his strength in that kick, thinking that this kick would only repel the opponent. His strength seemed to have increased quite a bit. If he had added two more tenths of his strength, he could definitely have shattered that guy's chin.

What is going on? Did he mutate? Ram, unable to figure out the reason, decided to temporarily stop thinking about this problem. After all, since he could transmigrate and be reborn, the increase in his strength seemed very minor.

"Sir, thank you very much." After seeing the two thugs disappear, the rescued woman, slightly intoxicated, said gratefully to Ram. "It's nothing, no big deal," Ram replied casually.

Looking at the woman in front of him with a wide-brimmed hat, Ram had a familiar feeling. Had he seen her before?

The woman standing in front of Ram was someone with an absolutely outstanding figure and appearance. Her tall stature, impressive chest, and exquisite features, especially her smile, were typically Monalisa-like, exuding an indescribable charm.

When he finally saw her face clearly, he was immediately astonished. He hadn't expected the woman he had inadvertently saved to be her. Why was she here, and why was she almost molested?

Looking at the charmingly intoxicated woman, Ram couldn't help but exclaim, "Julia Roberts?"

Julia Roberts was undoubtedly one of Hollywood's most dazzling actresses of the nineties. In 1999, she won the People's Choice Award for Favorite Comedy Actress and Favorite Actress, and in 2001, she won the Oscar for Best Actress, with her film salary reaching a staggering 25 million US dollars.

Ram couldn't help but ask curiously, "Why are you here? Don't you know it's very unsafe for a beautiful woman to drink alone in a bar?"

Julia Roberts, after hearing Ram's words, looked at him with some surprise. "Thank you for the compliment, but it's very impolite to pay attention to a strange lady without any reason like that."

Hearing her say that, Ram was momentarily stunned: "Uh... I'm sorry, I was just curious."

"Hehe." Julia Roberts looked at the unfamiliar man in front of her. His embarrassed appearance now was completely different from how he behaved when fighting the thugs earlier. The stark contrast made her find him very interesting. Her mood, which had been depressed due to her divorce, couldn't help but improve significantly.

Julia Roberts laughed, "You're so interesting. You can call me Julia. I've been in a bad mood these past few days, so I came to the bar to relax and drank a bit too much. I ran into those two bastards when I was getting my car."

After Ram heard her words, he finally understood the reason. He figured it was because she was in a bad mood due to the divorce, and the films she had starred in were neither critically acclaimed nor box office hits. No company dared to hire her for a film, leaving her without any new film contracts even now.

"Oh... by the way, I still don't know your name?" Julia Roberts asked. "Ram" Ram, after hearing Julia Roberts' words, came back to his senses and replied with a smile.

Julia Roberts nodded, then continued to ask, "Oh, Ram, are you Indian?" "To be precise, I am a Indian-American." Ram hadn't expected Julia Roberts to be so curious.

Just then, Ram saw a woman he didn't recognize walking towards them. Julia Roberts waved her arm at the woman and called out, "Wait a moment, I'll be right there."

Julia Roberts said to Ram, "Well, I should go. Can I have your contact information?" Ram was always polite to beautiful women, so he readily gave her his contact information. After saying goodbye, the two went their separate ways.
