Every trainer in the region knew Goldenrod City. This prosperous city had been subjected to a horrific attack in an instant, all thanks to the machinations of Team Rocket executive Chakra.

Lance had access to most of the company's surveillance cameras, except for a small portion that he had cut off. He hadn't expected the person entering Silver Company to be her. It was
Sabrina, the Team Rocket executive he hadn't been able to contact.
She was accompanied by a trainer whose figure seemed familiar to Lance, as if he'd seen her somewhere before.
"I told you, the League people can't be trusted. Giovanni still doesn't believe me."
Lance guessed something, staring at the surveillance cameras. Chakra had taken away most of the Team Rocket members; not many people controlled Silver Company.
Those people trying to stop a Champion-level trainer was a pipe dream. It seemed he would have to personally deal with that traitor.
Lance felt something was amiss and turned to his trusted aide, saying, "Notify Apollo to come down and help. Don't guard the office door."
"I believe that guy understands the importance of this operation better than anyone."
Lance finished speaking and walked towards Sabrina and the others.
He left only his trusted confidants to continue monitoring the entire Silver Company.

The entire Silver Company was in complete chaos.
The employees, whose Pokémon were not very strong, were also entangled with Team Rocket.
Neither side would give way. The earlier explosion in the Goldenrod City commercial district had accelerated their resistance. Since they were going to die anyway, they figured they might as well fight and maybe escape.

Seeing Bai Yu go upstairs, the Team Rocket members breathed a slight sigh of relief and took out their Pokédexs to inform Lance about the intruders.
Just as the Team Rocket member was about to deliver the message, he felt a heaviness in his head and collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
In the darkness, Sabrina, behind Bai Yu, snapped her fingers lightly,
seemingly using some kind of ability.
"There are far more Team Rocket executives involved in this operation than expected."
"I wonder what that old man Silver has figured out... that would allow Team Rocket to deploy so many forces to storm Silver Corporation headquarters."
Sabrina followed, seeing many familiar faces along the way.
The attire of different executives and subordinates was noticeably different.
The Team Rocket members inside Silver Corporation were dressed differently from those in the commercial district outside, and there were also slight differences in the clothing of the members within the company.
