Chapter 53 - Chapter 54: Blow Up the Company? Not Quite. I’m Here to Wipe It Out!!!

New fic, check it out!

"Tch, damn it… all my accounts are gone…"

After getting tricked by Herta and Screwllum, Silver Wolf hurriedly left the Simulated Universe and pulled out her phone to check her accounts. Sure enough…

Just as Herta had said, all seventy-six of her gaming accounts were shown as suspended.

Suspension period: ten thousand years.

"Sigh… ten thousand years…" Silver Wolf pressed her lips together, looking like she might burst into tears any moment.

Ten thousand years—it might as well be a permanent ban.

"Guess I'll have to make a trip to the Interastral Peace Corporation headquarters after all…"

The very thought gave her a headache.

Before, it wouldn't have been so bad. The headquarters would've been troublesome, sure, but just troublesome.

Now though… after those two demolition incidents caused by Clara, security at the IPC headquarters had been cranked up to an unprecedented, absurdly high level.

If you compared it to a game, the old IPC headquarters was like a level 100 area. Now it was level 200.

But the damn level cap in this "game" was only 80. Trying to fight a bunch of level 200 enemies at level 100? Yeah, right.

"Do I really just have to swallow this bitter pill and watch all my gaming accounts vanish forever?"

Standing there, Silver Wolf was nearly driven mad just thinking about it.

"Silver Wolf of the Stellaron Hunters. You seem to be in some sort of trouble."

Just as Silver Wolf stood frozen, a voice suddenly spoke up behind her, startling her so much the stray hair on her head shot straight up.

She spun around immediately.

There stood a petite girl with twin tails, a mask perched on her head and a purple katana gripped in her hand.

"Who are you?" Silver Wolf's guard shot up to maximum, her gaze sharp as she asked the question.

A screen materialized in her hand—seems she was preparing an escape route.

"My name is Sparkle. Rest assured, if I meant you harm, you wouldn't even be standing here talking to me."

The one playing the role of Sparkle—Clara—spoke coolly, her expression completely detached.

"I overheard you saying you need to go to the IPC headquarters?"

"As it happens, I'm heading there too."

"Let's make a deal." Clara strode over to Silver Wolf, her gaze icy and unyielding.

"You take me to the IPC headquarters, and I'll help you solve whatever problem you're facing."

"How about it?"

"Why should I trust you?"

Hearing this, Clara gave a faint smile. "Because if you refuse…"

"You'll die by my blade."

Clara rested a hand on her sword hilt, slowly drawing it out just a fraction.

"!"

The crimson gleam of the blade, the aura of death—it nearly plunged Silver Wolf into an abyss.

"An… an Emanator?!"

Having brushed shoulders with death, Silver Wolf now understood the power of this "Sparkle" before her… a genuine, bona fide Emanator…

"Do you see now? You cannot refuse. There is no justification, and no room for negotiation."

Clara sheathed her sword, her eyes cold as she watched Silver Wolf.

Honestly, with acting skills like hers, she deserved a Cosmic Oscar.

Taking in Silver Wolf's utterly convinced expression, Clara couldn't help but feel a swell of pride inside.

"I understand. I'll take you to the IPC headquarters…" After a moment of silence, Silver Wolf agreed to Clara's demand.

After all, if she refused, she'd really die by this girl's hand…

Judging by the aura she'd just emitted, this "Sparkle"… was probably an Emanator highly skilled in combat…

Escaping from a combat-specialized Emanator? Silver Wolf didn't fancy her chances.

But that didn't mean she'd just swallow this insult willingly.

Once this was over, she'd go beg Clara, ask her to step in and teach this "Sparkle" Emanator a proper lesson…

So what if I can't beat you? Can't I call for backup?

Just you wait. I refuse to believe you're stronger than Clara…

On the journey to the IPC headquarters with "Sparkle," Silver Wolf shot several fierce glares her way.

"Sparkle," for her part, paid no mind, keeping her eyes closed in meditation, playing the part of an aloof master.

Of course, if "Sparkle" knew what Silver Wolf was thinking, she'd probably laugh herself silly.

Me, fighting myself? Seriously?

Would I loose?

Nah, I'd win.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

"Pier Point? Didn't the Corporation relocate?" Feeling the familiar star system before her, Clara, in her role as Sparkle, asked with some confusion.

"Because their new location got blown up too," Silver Wolf replied flatly.

"Maybe they figured no matter where they moved, Clara would just bomb it."

"So they simply moved back to Pier Point. At least it's their original home turf."

"I see." Clara nodded. Moving back was fine—it meant she wouldn't get lost next time. She could even set a reminder, come blow it up on a regular schedule.

Interastral Peace Corporation Headquarters: ?

Oh, wonderful. How noble, how impressive.

"So? What are you going to the IPC headquarters for? Don't tell me you're planning to blow it up too." Silver Wolf yawned, saying it half as a joke.

After observing her during the trip, Silver Wolf had realized Clara meant her no real harm, so she'd relaxed quite a bit.

Of course, getting Clara to take revenge on "Sparkle" was still absolutely on the to-do list.

Me, Silver Wolf? I hold a grudge like nobody's business! ᗜ ˰ ᗜ

"Blow up the Company? Not quite." Hearing this, Clara shook her head gently.

Then she rested her hand on her sword, a palpable, murderous intent radiating from her entire being.

"I'm here to wipe it out!"

Silver Wolf: ?

Hearing those words and feeling the aura emanating from Clara, Silver Wolf's body went stiff.

She… she isn't a Eminator of Destruction is she…
