Chapter 3 - 3

Chapter 3 The system finally arrived

A teacher in a vest pushed open the door, briefly introduced herself as the homeroom teacher for the next few years, and then officially began class.

The first lesson was about how to extract Chakra. Kakuki immediately collected his thoughts and listened carefully. After all, with no cheat system in sight, the ability of a Ninja was essential for survival in this chaotic Ninja World.

"Chakra is essential for us Ninja. It is a type of energy hidden within the human body, formed by the combination of our physical energy and spiritual energy..."

"It's not easy to perceive the energy within your body and extract Chakra for the first time. Everyone must be patient...."

Kakuki assumed a meditation posture, held his breath, focused his gaze, and tried to perceive and activate the spiritual energy in his mind, combining it with the physical energy in his body. According to the teacher's explanation, perceiving the spiritual energy in the mind was the most difficult step, hmm...

Kakuki suddenly felt a "boom" in his brain, and it cleared up. He almost instantly perceived the spiritual energy existing in his mind, like a boundless ocean.

Kakuki was slightly surprised. Unexpectedly, the next second, streams of hot energy gushed out from his heart, like an inexhaustible spring, quickly forming a large lake.

Kakuki quickly mixed this gushing physical energy with the spiritual energy in his mind. The "two large pools" of energy converged in one place, quickly becoming indistinguishable and merging into one.

Kakuki's consciousness within it was like a lone boat, facing the boundless sea.

This vast sea formed and instantly flowed along the meridians in his body to all his limbs and bones. The Chakra quietly flowing in each meridian was like a continuously surging river.

He didn't expect his first attempt at extracting Chakra to be so successful. Kakuki felt a bit fortunate and let out a relaxed sigh of relief, as he didn't know his Ninja aptitude beforehand.

Now it seemed, at least in terms of Chakra, he was quite outstanding.

Kakuki also understood the meaning of the teacher's earlier instruction: "Everyone's Chakra reserve is different, but generally fixed."

As it stood, Kakuki's Chakra reserve was this much, and it would only change with his increasing age, the natural growth of his spiritual energy, and the natural growth of his physical energy due to physical development.

And for older Ninja past their prime, as their bodies and minds decline, their Chakra reserve would also gradually decrease.

The amount of Chakra a Ninja possesses comes from his own aptitude. This is the natural law of a Ninja's Chakra reserve.

Therefore, in the Ninja World, a genius is a genius. If one wants to defy fate, they might only be able to rely on technology and drastic measures.

Looking at his vast Chakra reserve, perhaps he was also a small genius? Kakuki was feeling smug and lost in thought when suddenly a "ding!" sounded in his mind.

"Ding! The All Things Can Be Copied System has arrived!"

"Ding! Detecting extraordinary energy within the host's body. System officially launching..."

"System successfully bound, system functions successfully activated, host personal panel generated..."

System! System! System! The long-awaited system had finally arrived. Kakuki tried to calm his excited heart and carefully observed his eagerly anticipated system.

[Personal Panel]

Host: Umino Kakuki

Overall Combat Power: E

Chakra Reserve: 1 Kakashi

Attributes: Wind, Water, Yang

Copy Count: 1

He really was a small genius! Kakuki's eyes immediately landed on the 1 Kakashi Chakra reserve, and he couldn't help but feel smug.

Although Kakashi always seemed to be low on blue, and his Chakra reserve was considered relatively small among Jonin, he even became the system's Chakra unit of measurement.

But one shouldn't underestimate Kakashi because of this; no matter what, that was still a Jonin-level Chakra reserve.

At just 5 years old, he already possessed 1 Kakashi of Chakra power!

Kakuki suppressed his excitement and continued to observe the system carefully.

Through observation, Kakuki learned that the system's core function was copying, including but not limited to the opponent's various skills, Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, and even Chakra attributes, mastery level, nature and form changes, Chakra reserve, as well as physical talent and Bloodline Limit.

Copying required selecting a copy target, and copying was 100% successful, but the copied skill was completely random.

"Completely random skill" meant that it might not only copy the opponent's combat skills like Ninjutsu, but also life skills like cooking...

For example, if Kakuki selected Jiraiya as the copy target, the skill he ended up copying might be Mount Myōboku Sage Mode, or it could be Master-level Liu Bei writing...

And the only way to copy someone else's skills was through combat! Although regardless of victory or defeat in combat, one could 100% copy the opponent's skill, what specific skill it was, was uncertain...

Furthermore, there was only one chance to copy a skill per day.

In addition, the system had a detection function that could show others' overall combat power and attributes. This function was probably provided to facilitate the host in selecting combat copy targets.

Unfortunately, the system did not display his own or others' Ninjutsu or other skills. It was fine for himself, but when selecting a copy target, he would have to gradually figure it out through combat.

Kakuki focused his gaze on the teacher on the podium, and a few lines of text appeared in his vision.

Name: Yamada Ino

Overall Combat Power: C

Chakra Reserve: 0.7 Kakashi

Attribute: Earth

From the data, this homeroom teacher was a standard Chunin of ordinary background, and her 0.7 Kakashi Chakra reserve was also considered a standard Chunin Chakra reserve.

With only a single attribute, she likely had no inherited secret techniques or Bloodline Limit, only the basics learned from the Ninja School and a few Ninjutsu obtained later through merits.

In reality, Ninja with inherited secret techniques or Bloodline Limit were elites among Ninja of the same rank at any stage of a Ninja's career.

Ninja families with inherited secret techniques or Bloodline Limit could provide their children with better early education from a young age, and they could also acquire secret techniques or Bloodline Limit that ordinary Ninja could not.

In fact, the Haiye was not a Ninja family either. Kakuki's parents were both of ordinary background, and they only reached the Jonin rank through accumulated merits and unremitting effort.

Although they couldn't compare to Ninja families, they possessed advantages that ordinary people could hardly hope to match.

Jonin parents could provide their children with much better Ninja education than ordinary people, for example... Ninjutsu that many Ninja from commoner backgrounds had to pay a huge price to acquire.

Kakuki was actually much luckier than most Ninja from commoner backgrounds.

However, Iruka Umino, who grew up in the original work, seemed a bit weak. This was actually because his parents had sacrificed themselves during the Nine-Tailed rampage before Iruka had even graduated from the Ninja School.

Since he had become the son of the Haiye in this world, he naturally couldn't let that tragedy happen again. Kakuki silently set his first small goal for himself.
