Chapter 4 - Understanding the Ladder of power

After a moment of thought, Felix decided to test Absolute Comprehension.

If that ability was truly as broken as it sounded, then the best way to confirm it was simple—

Understand the cultivation system of this world.

He glanced around the room, searching for something familiar.

"…A phone?"

After a brief search, he found one resting neatly on a nearby table.

But another question surfaced in his mind.

"System," Felix asked internally,

"how did I even wake up in a place like this? And why are all my basic needs already taken care of?"

The response was mechanical, devoid of emotion.

[As previously stated, all conditions were arranged by the System, host.]

"…Convenient."

Felix didn't dwell on it.

"Then," he said calmly,

"it's time to understand this world's power system."

He unlocked the phone and opened a browser. Just as he was about to search for cultivation rankings, another thought crossed his mind.

"System. If what I find differs from the cosmic power hierarchy, tell me."

[If I am permitted to answer, I will respond, host.]

"…Fair enough."

Felix typed in the search.

Felix read everything.

Once.

That was all it took.

He realized something strange immediately—

Not a single detail escaped his mind.

"…This is impressive," he thought.

He leaned back slightly.

"System. Is the cultivation hierarchy on a cosmic scale the same?"

There was a pause.

[The structure is the same. However, higher realms exist beyond what this world recognizes.]

"…I see."

Felix nodded to himself.

Then another thought struck him.

"System," he asked, almost casually,

"does this world have an academy?"

This time, the System's voice sounded… melodic.

[Yes, host. A neutral-zone institution known as the World Academy exists. All races are permitted entry. The first entrance examination will take place in one month.]

Felix froze.

"…All races?"

Only then did it truly sink in.

"Wait," he said slowly, eyes narrowing with interest.

"There are other races too?!"

And for the first time since arriving in this world—

Felix smiled.
