Chapter 58: No Need to Be Angry With a Dead Man!
Comforted by Mirajane's hug, Lisanna's mood improved significantly.

Both gathered around Ren. Mirajane's gaze was deep, looking at Ren with worry.

"Ren, the Master will come back safely, right?"
After rolling her eyes at Ren, Mirajane asked with some worry in her eyes.
Because of Mirajane's question, Lisanna, who had just been comforted, lowered her head again, but she listened carefully to Ren's answer.
"Don't worry. Phantom Lord doesn't have many mages left. Their main force has been annihilated. Those remaining are just the old, weak, sick, and disabled. Unless the Master's brain gets caught in a door, he can beat them easily!"
Ren spread his hands. The possibility of Makarov and the others losing never even crossed his mind.
The only way they could lose was if Jose's strength had somehow increased enough to instantly defeat Makarov.

Suddenly, Ren, sitting by the guild bar counter, snapped his eyes open.

The members guarding the guild were instantly alert, gathering towards Ren.
"Ren, what happened?"
One of the members guarding the guild, Levy, stood worriedly beside Ren, looking at the closed main door.
Lisanna was also somewhat afraid, clutching Ren's arm tightly and refusing to let go.
Mirajane stood on Lisanna's other side, holding Lisanna's small, fair hand, looking calmly at the closed door.
"Wait for me here. I'll go out and take a look."
With his Observation Haki covering the entire Magnolia, a cold light flashed in Ren's eyes after he opened them.
He hadn't expected that after beating Phantom Lord to such an extent, they could still come here.
Suddenly, Lisanna's face turned pale.
She clutched Ren's arm tightly.

Smiling, he said, "What are you thinking? Jose is no match for the Master. They probably prepared to sneak attack our guild before the Master got there. The Master likely missed them!"
"Really?"
Hearing Ren's explanation, Lisanna's eyes widened as she looked at Ren expectantly.
"Don't worry, nothing bad happened. I promise you."
To prevent accidents, Ren had specifically entrusted the three main Homies and Ur to Erza.
Now that his connection with the souls of the three main Homies and Ur hadn't been cut, it meant nothing bad had happened.
Releasing Lisanna's fair hand, Ren walked towards the door.

Seeing Ren's figure, Jose gritted his teeth, roaring angrily at Ren.
"Long time no see, Guild Master Jose."
Hearing Jose's rage-filled curses, Ren showed no anger. With a gentle smile, he waved at Jose.
"Ah, I wish I could tear you into pieces! Ren!"
Jose's eyes were red, filled with intense hatred.
This guy in front of him had planned one attack after another against his branches.
Especially killing his capable subordinate, Aria.
Jose wished he could eat Ren alive.
"Guild Master Jose, I hope your strength matches your big talk."
Ren raised an eyebrow, paying no mind to Jose's curses.
In Ren's mind, Jose was already a dead man. There was no need to get angry with a dead man.
"Then just try it!"
