Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: A High School Girl's Graduation Guide

Thor and Jane shared an affectionate kiss, their lips rubbing together like grindstones.

Jack walked up to Sif and whispered, "If you want to get back at him, I can act as your tool for revenge." After saying that, he even pouted his lips at Sif.

Sif rolled her eyes at him and stepped into the marks left by the Bifrost Bridge, standing right behind Thor while still glaring at Jack.

Inside the car, Daisy also rolled her eyes at Jack. "What a playboy."

Seeing Sif like this, Jack mocked her, "Planning to give them a push when they get tired? Just so you can feel like you participated?"

Although Sif often hung around with a bunch of guys, she was still an innocent maiden.

Being spoken to like that by Jack, she felt a little embarrassed and glared at him fiercely without saying a word.

At this moment, Thor and Jane's grindstone-level kissing finally stopped because of Jack's words.

Jane asked with her tongue, What is your relationship with that woman?

Thor also explained hurriedly with his tongue, She is my comrade-in-arms. We fight together often.

Jane: Really?

Thor: Really. We've been together for thousands of years. If anything were going to happen, it would've happened long ago.

Jane: Will you keep your "fish roe lucky bag" safe after you go back?

Thor: You are the only one in my lucky bag.

Seeing that things were about to get awkward, Thor ended the grindstone session.

"This thread is the red string of the Old Man Under the Moon," Jack said seriously. "It connects two hearts so a third wheel can't interfere."

"Uncle, please shut up," Thor said helplessly. "Sif and I are comrades. We're friends. If anything were between us, it would've happened long ago."

Hearing this, Jack gave the silent Sif a 'Hear that?' smile.

"After hearing this, Sif tossed her proud blonde hair and left."

Jack even provided the narration for her, earning another fierce glare.

Thor couldn't wait any longer and shouted, "Heimdall, take us back!"

The Warriors Three immediately rushed into the circle, afraid of being left behind.

The light of the Bifrost enveloped the five of them. At the last moment, Jack threw two additional sets of armor into the Bifrost.

The light vanished, leaving behind deep scorch marks on the frozen ground, faint steam rising into the winter air.

Jack walked over to Tony's car, looked at the projected data, and asked, "So? Did you record it?"

"The time was too short. Didn't get much," Tony clicked his tongue. "Damn, their magic-tech is seriously advanced."

Jack tapped the armor. "You don't need to crack it this hard. In a few years, we can just take the technology outright."

Tony frowned. "My curiosity won't wait a few years. Right now, Earth feels like a piece of paper—any alien ship could poke a hole through it whenever they want."

Jack used the same old line to comfort him. "Like I said, Earth has a Guardian. Aliens won't dare show up in the solar system with warships."

Tony ignored the comfort entirely. "I don't trust Guardians. I only trust the prosthetics I build."

After Jack whispered a few words to Selvig, he and Tony flew away… from the Asgardian Heavenly Palace.

The overall plot matched expectations, except for a large iron box and two silver sets of armor being added.

In the end, the Bifrost still shattered, and Loki fell beneath it.

Back in the Heavenly Palace, Thor looked at the massive iron box carried into the Great Hall by the guards and remembered his uncle's instructions.

He searched for a long time before finding the hidden button. Reading the operating instructions, Thor began setting things up.

Odin watched silently. He didn't stop it, nor did he question the "wild" uncle Thor had acknowledged. There was faint killing intent and deep calculation in his eyes—but also a subtle smile at the corner of his mouth.

With Thor's matters settled, Jack returned to his own small home.

Hearing noises inside, Jack's expression turned serious. He kicked the door open and shouted, "FBI! You demons—your good days are over!"

·●OO|━⊂(`ꇴ´#)^ Come out and fight, you bastards!

Jack wielded his holy sword and clashed with the demons. The battle was brutal. The demons resisted desperately, but they were no match for a high-level exorcist.

By morning, the exorcism was complete.

Jack went to feed the three succubi. A kind exorcist never wastes an opportunity to reform demons.

One bowl each of green vegetable and lean meat porridge. He fed them one by one.

Wanda and Mei couldn't eat any more.

Wanda: "I can't. If I eat more, I'll burst."

Mei: "Same. Also, don't forget to take Peter to school."

Natasha looked at them with a trace of envy. After Red Room training, she physically couldn't eat that much.

After forcing down some porridge to recover, Natasha also fell asleep.

Today, she planned to apply for worker's compensation from S.H.I.E.L.D. Her injuries were severe. During last night's exorcism, her two "partners" sold her out, leaving her to fight the exorcist alone for three hours.

As an undercover spy, filing for compensation was perfectly reasonable.

Jack took a bowl of porridge to Peter's house.

"Uncle Jack? You're back?"

Peter happily accepted the bowl.

"Eat slowly. I'll take you to school later. Mei already went to work."

Peter saw through it but didn't say anything. He was already nine—not some clueless eight-year-old.

After dropping Peter off, Jack drove to his lab.

Helen Zhao immediately dragged him into a heated discussion. She stubbornly defended her position, and Jack had to admit—her mouth was tough as hell. Even when cornered, she refused to yield.

With Tony's cooperation, the Life Cradle project had accelerated dramatically. Helen estimated completion within a year.

Combined with the perfected Lizard Serum, it might enable side-effect-free regeneration.

Since Dr. Connors hadn't reported any accidents, there was no rush.

A peaceful month passed.

One day, Jack received a message from Tony.

"Game Boy, the stuff you wanted is done. Production line's ready. Just come pick it up. If you have requirements for my new chip factory, tell JARVIS."

Jack tried calling back, but JARVIS answered.

"Sir is asleep. You may leave a message."

"Then forget it," Jack said. "Let him sleep."

Tony had spent over a month grinding like a madman. His software combined with 10nm chips was basically a technological cut-cock to the entire era.

Jack was ready to open internet cafés worldwide.

Once they launched, Triangle Porridge would go straight on the shelves. Even a lump of it was enough to feed people who'd never eaten real food for years.

Jack marveled at AI's usefulness. With JARVIS, game development was stupidly easy.

He stepped outside and called Gwen.

"Jack? Why are you calling me? Don't tell me you want to experiment on me."

"I need Felicia and Missy Karenback's contact info."

Gwen immediately got defensive. "What are you planning? They're my friends. Don't get crooked ideas."

Jack snorted. "I have ideas, sure, but you won't let me. It's business. I've got jobs and money."

"That still sounds wrong."

"Details. I can save you a spot too—my park needs hands."

"It'd better be a technology park."

"What else would it be? Damn, you wound me."

"I'll send the numbers," Gwen said, hanging up.

Jack met Felicia and Missy at a burger shop.

"Think about it," Jack said calmly. "College is about money. This is a shortcut."

"If you want romance, fine. But you'll probably graduate with debt. Even your President hasn't paid his loans."

Flash leaned over. "Boss, some weird rainbow group came to the shop asking why we don't have Black employees."

Jack glanced around. "Ignore them."

He turned back to the girls. "You two aren't extreme feminists, right? If you are, don't come."

Felicia shook her head. "I'm not."

"Do you regret working here?" Jack asked Flash.

Flash smiled shyly.

Felicia shivered. "Boss, I'll work for you."

Jack waved his hands. "Careful with wording. You're working for me, not doing me. Gwen would cut my cock off."

Felicia sighed in relief. "You scared me."

"You kids need mouth filters," Jack muttered.

Missy finally nodded. "Boss… I'll entrust my future to you."

"Good," Jack said smugly. "You'll be my secretary."

Missy froze in terror.

"A normal secretary," Jack snapped. "Get your mind out of the gutter."

He glanced at her frame. Messy girls with glasses were unfortunately his type.

Felicia whispered loudly, "She's at least a D+. Just wears too much."

Jack: (¬ꇴ¬)

Missy slapped a sauce-covered hand over Felicia's mouth.

Jack sighed. "Alright. You'll get notices soon."

Just then, the burger shop door slammed open.

A group of rainbow-clothed monsters barged in.
